Get PDFThe Siltie Society lives in southern Ethiopia 172 Kilo meters far from Addis Ababa (the capital city of Ethiopia). The role of Melcho institutions in conflict resolution (dispute settlement) has been manifested in their greatest neighborhood and cultural persistence with the life of the community they serve. This study was aimed to comparatively explore the role of the Melcho institution in conflict resolution to the case of Siltie Society with respect to the principles of restorative justice. The study used qualitative and doctrinal approach for the case of principles of restorative justice doctrinal approach, for the case of assessing the existence of the principles of restorative justice in the role of Melcho, qualitative approach. Finally a comparative analysis has been made. For this purpose fifteen interviews made with elders in three Woredas of Siltie zone out of eleven Woredas. Accordingly, data was collected and analyzed. The findings of the study revealed that the role of Melcho encompasses the principles of restorative justice

The results of the study concluded that, the products produced by LKP Fani Embroidery currently have not fully met consumer demand. In addition to the current competitive competition, people are also more likely to choose clothing or products outside the region or abroad that are marketed online in the marketplace. Supporting facilities are not enough to support production activities. Narrow land, minimal budget, not yet using technology that is currently used by large companies. The promotion that was carried out only using the owner\u27s personal FB account had stopped for several months. consumers do not know or even know the products in LKP Fani Embroidery

IMPLEMENTATION OF AN OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE ROBOT FOR SURVEILLANCE
Get PDFThis project is aimed at implementing an obstacle avoidance robot using ultrasonic sensor mounted on a servo motor for its movement and navigation without damaging itself. Atmega 328P microcontroller is used to achieve the desired operation and Arduino software was used to carry out the programming. The word “Robot” simply means any man-made machine that can perform work or other actions normally done by humans, either automatically or by remote control. Robotics is the blend of computational intelligence and physical machines (motors). In this project differential drive method will be used as the obstacle avoidance algorithm and the algorithm is implemented in the main microcontroller which is on the mobile robot. The Algorithm implemented is used to avoid the obstacle and to drive the robot to a locally generated goal. The use of servomotor provides great precision rotation as a scanner mechanism for the ultrasonic sensor. This autonomous robot, successfully maneuvered in any given environment without collision, the hardware used in this project is commonly available and inexpensive which makes the robot easily replicable
