Optimizing Energy Resources: A Review of Waste Heat Recovery in Industrial Refrigeration Systems
This paper explores the potential of heat recovery systems to enhance energy efficiency in dairy and industrial settings. Through a comprehensive literature review, various existing technologies and their effectiveness are examined. The results of the review indicate that heat recovery systems have the capability to improve the energy efficiency of refrigeration plants by minimizing energy losses and utilizing waste heat. Furthermore, the study highlights that the implementation of heat recovery systems may involve a significant initial capital investment. However, the long-term energy savings they offer can be substantial. This research demonstrates the potential of heat recovery systems to reduce energy costs and enhance overall energy efficiency in dairy and industrial applications. The insights provided by this literature review are valuable in understanding the potential of heat recovery systems in the context of dairy and industrial settings. Additionally, the findings of this study lay the foundation for further investigations into the design and operation of energy-efficient refrigeration systems
DEVELOPMENT OF A SECURITY PROGRAM FOR PLACING LOADS ON VEHICLES OF TRANSPORTATION
Nowadays, in order to safely deliver the goods to their owner, to reduce the impact of the loads on the stability of cars during the movement of the car, the loads are attached with special strap protection devices [1]. During the movement of the cargo placed on the platform of the transport vehicles, the center of gravity of the cargo moves from its place to a certain place, if errors are made in the placement and attachment of the cargo, it is inevitable that a road traffic accident will occur during transportation [2,3]. Theoretically, it is necessary to deal with reasons related to safe loading and attachment when finalizing the shipment process. It is necessary to take into account the technical capabilities of the car when carrying out the transportation of goods by means of transport, safe and high-quality transportation
METAPHORICAL CHANGES IN ENGLISH
In the article the author analyzes the role of metaphor in the organization of communication in fiction. Metaphor is one of the most expressive tools of speech, reflecting not only lexical meaning, but also giving emotional coloring to a word or expression. Metaphor can often be seen in works of art, where the author, with its help, sets the right atmosphere, in writing and even in colloquial speech
ANALYZING THE PROBLEM OF MENTAL HEALTH OF THE SEAFARER WORKERS
It is often believed that seafarers are exposed to both physical and psychological hazards on the job. Nonetheless, unlike physical health, the mental health of marines has received less attention. There is a paucity of systematic, in-depth analyses of the causes and contributing factors of mental health issues. Ninety-six percent of respondents ranked mental health as either very or very essential to their overall health. Sailors believe that COVID-19 has had a significant negative influence on their mental health. There is both a theoretical and practical component to this subject. Some of the theoretical work has focused on determining the prevalence of depression among mariners, its causes, and effective treatments. First aid was the primary treatment for sailors\u27 injuries, while medicine was used for diseases. Findings from this study\u27s third and final section attempt to provide answers to the questions addressed in the study\u27s introduction, including how to combat depression aboard ships and lower the suicide rate among marines
DEVELOPMENT OF ASBESTOS-FREE BRAKE PAD USING COCONUT SHELL POWDER AND COCONUT SHELL ASH AS FILLER MATERIALS WITH GUM ARABIC AS THE BINDER
EFFECT OF MINERAL ELEMENTS ON POTATO PHOTOSYNTHETIC PRODUCTIVITY
In order to determine the effect of mineral elements on the growth and development, yield, crop quality of the Picasso variety, as well as performance indicators, studies were conducted to determine the optimal nutrient medium under the influence of various ratios of NPKZnMg in greenhouse conditions
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING A STEP-BY-STEP PIT DESIGN IN MINING ENTERPRISES
One of the main problems of open-pit mining is the efficient use of freight transportation (freight turnover) and transportation fleet. for maximum efficiency and minimum costs, after extracting minerals, we need to transport them to areas as close as possible to the mining enterprise\u27s border area. Shovels and trucks are the most common are widely used loading and transportation equipment in open pit mining around the world. The the problem is difficult because the truck and shovel systems are complicated by uncertainties related to truck and shovel operations and numerous parameters and as a result problem-related interactions should be considered. This paper develops and implements a stochastic discrete-event simulation model to design and analyze the behavior of a truck and shovel handling system. The boundary area of the mine along with short-term plans, guidelines for open pit mining were given. This model simulates a complex system of trucks and shovels and takes into account the uncertainties associated with the operation of trucks and shovels. This ensures that operating plans are consistent with net present value and ensures that the planning stage is more perfect. Two main subproblems are addressed in this study. First of all, equipment a selection problem in which the number of trucks and shovels is determined. In the second subproblem, key performance indicators using the resources identified in the previous step truck and shovel system is evaluated. Optimal short-term production at both stages the table is the main input in the model. Developed using the proposed simulation model simulation software and it is applied in a real open pit iron ore mine. Several research processes for location planning of mining enterprises are presented as examples
POTENTIALS OF SORGHUM STALK IN THE PRODUCTIONS OF CEILING BOARDS
This research work is centered at studying the potentialities of sorghum stalk in the production of ceiling boards. Other materials like saw dust, sugar cane bagasse, rice husk and waste paper were used by other researchers for the production of ceiling boards excepting sorghum stalk. Sorghum is one of the most widely agricultural crops cultivated in Nigeria but its residues (stalk) are mostly unused. In this research work, sorghum stalk is ground to particles and was mixed with adhesives (gum Arabic, kaolin and white cement) and water to form a paste that was cast in molds. The molds are of 2400 x 1200 x 20 mm, 2400 x 1200 x 10 mm, 2400 x 1200 x 5 mm. 1200 x 1200 x 20 mm, 1200 x 1200 x 10 mm, 1200 x 1200 x 5 mm, 600 x 600 x 20 mm, 600 x 600 x 10 mm, 600 x 600 x 5 mm. After allowing the cast paste to adequately dry for 7 days, the boards are tested for density, water absorption capacity and thermal conductivity. The tests are conducted using direct method, ASTM D570 and ASTM E1225 respectively. Two ceilings from the same mold 600 x 600 x 20 mm, using (gum Arabic) and (gum Arabic + kaolin + white cement) with density of 1.04 kg/m3, thermal conductivity of 0.079 W/mK have firm physical condition
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT: A CASE OF LIBYA
Solid waste is defined as the unwanted byproducts of human activities which can be in both commercial and domestic human activities. Solid waste can be very toxic and dangerous to human health if not adequately managed through various processes of what is known as solid waste management. Solid waste management is the process that is defined by the collection and treatment of solid waste to ensure the protection of both human and environmental health. Solid waste management is a process that is defined as crucial for public health and the individual health of the people in a society. Solid waste management is however a process that has significant challenges to be implemented adequately, especially in underdeveloped parts of the world. This study is a comprehensive investigation into the state of solid waste generation and the efforts of solid waste management in Libya; its challenges and efficiency, as well as the recommended processes for ensuring it is further improved
