    In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureThe well-being of the children is a sign of healthy child development. Children's well- being is at risk when they experience abuse and neglect, which is needed for their general physical, emotional, and mental health. Children who are victims of abuse and neglect are frequently cared for in shelter care. Shelter care for abused children is often overlooked in a research setting. The study aims to assess the built environment and the well being of children in Balay Dangupan and determine 1.) the level of I.) safety and security, control and privacy, and comfort of each of the spaces stated in the built environment, and 2.) What is the level of children's well-being regarding I.) psychological, social, and physical? The study is a mixed method that uses assessment and in-depth interviews to gather data. In general, the result of the weighted mean score of each space and well-being factor is at moderate to high descriptive levels. Numerous specific sub-items within the factor have levels of "Very Low" and "Low." Overall, the result of the study attains statistics and input that could identify the condition of the built environment and understand the children's well-being and need

    In Partial Fulfilment for the Requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing ManagementThe objective of this study was to determine Consumer Behavior in Online Shopping during Covid-19 Pandemic in Davao City. The study involved 200 respondents and was determined by collecting data with the use of survey questionnaires. The researchers used a stratified sampling technique in collecting data using an adopted survey questionnaire validated by the experts. They researched to determine whether there is a significant difference in Consumer Behavior in Online Shopping during Covid-19 Pandemic in Davao City when grouped according to profile. The data was collected and treated statistically using mean and descriptive correlation, ANOVA, and F-test. The result provided data where researchers came up with conclusions. The study showed a result of 4.60 overall means. The hypothesis stated that there is no significant difference in Consumer Behavior in Online Shopping during Covid-19 Pandemic in Davao City when grouped according to profile. Thus, Local Government researchers would like to recommend to the local government has taken action to ensure affordable access to quality broadband services for the consumers. Next, the researchers recommend to the online seller to ensure the seller system is to rank the sellers selling the products specified by buyers. Buyers can specify products and budgets as they need. The system searches for matched products, then finds out the corresponding sellers, and finally ranks them according to their scores. Lastly, it is hereby recommended to future researchers that they have to explore a more comprehensive study regarding the topic with a much broader scope. Keywords: Evaluatio

This study aimed to analyze the impact of Financial literacy Towards Business Performance in Davao City. To get results for the study, a survey was conducted among the SME’s Employees which participated by 100 respondents from industries/ companies form within the City undergone the purposive sampling method. The descriptive Correlation research method was employed in this study analysis of variance was utilized as the statistical tool. It was revealed in this study that every indicator of Financial Literacy among SME Employees shows there is a significant difference in the level of financial literacy profile. In terms of Cash Flow and Sales Revenue, all results and original hypotheses are rejected. The study, therefore, recommends that the Business owners shall investigate the effect of some other effective external factors on the business environment. It also recommends that the longitudinal study of the relationship between financial literacy and profitability should be conducted in Davao City under various Business Owners to have a comprehensive understanding of the relationship

Furthermore, the goal of this study is to learn about their bits of knowledge about how their language can be adapted through music. In line with this, we also include theories that will prove our findings especially the theory of Thorndike’s Connectionism, Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence, and lastly the theory of Albert Bandura about Social Learning theory. Through this study, we will be able to gather more significant information about the effect of music on the language of teenagers. The gathered 14 participants from Junior and Senior High School of La Filipina National High School with the age of 13-14 years old who are fond of listening to music either male or female. The researchers will go through Google Meet interviews and focus on a group discussion with the participants to obtain the data that necessary for this study using multiple intelligence.     Service quality and customer loyalty among small and medium enterprise (SMEs) in Panabo City

    This study aims to determine the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) in Panabo City. The respondents selected for this study were 219 customers of small and medium-sized enterprises in Panabo City. Hence, the researchers used a random sampling technique. A random sampling technique was utilized to select the target respondents of this study. The quantitative descriptive correlational research method was used in this study to determine the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. The level of service quality of small and medium-sized enterprises has a gathered grand mean of 4.70 with the descriptive equivalent of "very high," while the level of customer loyalty of small and medium-sized enterprises has a gathered grand mean of 4.72 with an indicator of personal interaction, product quality, and physical aspect. Further, the study's result shows a significant relationship between service quality and customer loyalty among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Panabo City. The results yielded an r-value of .6888 and P-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected

    In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureThis study aims to determine if the relationship between office workspace quality through Post-Occupancy Evaluation and government employees' satisfaction in the Indoor Environment Quality is influenced by personal background, workspace location, and the four types of office workspace, which are: Individual, shared-room (2-3), Small Open-plan (4-9), rand medium-open plan (10-24). The study employed stratified sampling wherein the strata are the types of office. Using Slovin's formula, the total computed participants are 155 municipal office employees. Results show a significant relationship between the overall IEQ satisfaction and the overall workspace quality, r = 0.0889/p = < .001. It indicated a very strong positive correlation. Thus, the regression analysis based on the results indicates a significant influence of the two variables F (1,153, p<0.05), refuting the null hypothesis. Further analysis also revealed workspace quality significantly influenced employees' IEQ satisfaction, t= 23.930, p<0.05. In particular, workspace qualities such as thermal, lighting, office furnishings, and cleanliness and maintenance show significant influence among the other parameters of the study so as the shared-room workspace type. In conclusion, the workspace quality in the perceived satisfaction on IEQ influences the overall satisfaction of the employees regardless of the other variables. The study also recommends POE from the CBE survey in the evaluation of IEQ's in the office environments

    Pricing strategies among second-hand gadget sellers in Kapalong

This study aimed to identify the different pricing strategies that could help second-hand garment sellers in dealing with their products. Moreover, this study also determined how does pricing strategy affect the sellers and what are their insights on having pricing method. Thus, this qualitative research also composed of 14 participants; 7 participants are interviewed for In-depth Interview (IDI) and 7 participants for Focus Group Discussion (FGD) via Google Meet and Zoom Meeting. As to the type of pricing strategy used in selling second-hand garments, the themes generated: cost-plus pricing strategy, economy pricing strategy, and price bundling strategy. As to the way selected pricing strategy selected affects business, the themes generated: helps gain profit, attracts more customers, able to assess flow of income, helps categorize for each items’ rightful prices, and helps recover capital. Lastly, as for the insights in having pricing strategies specifically in selling second-hand garments, the themes generated: ensure pricing is appropriate to the product’s quality, prioritize customer’s preferences, pricing strategy can be best utilized by the seller, pricing strategy plays a vital role in selling second-hand garments, and patience is a must in applying pricing strategy.x, 81 page

This qualitative study explores the experiences of the SLP leaders in one of the cities of Surigao del Sur, in handling and running their livelihood projects during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, it addresses the following problems: the experiences, challenges, coping strategies, and insights of the SLP leaders in handling SLP Projects during the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected numerous small, micro, and medium enterprises, and their incomes have declined. Thus, some livelihood businesses are being forced to shut down. These SLP leaders encountered numerous obstacles, which could be seen in the themes. Using the phenomenological approach, the SLP leaders experienced living with the responsibilities as a leader, appreciating the project’s benefits, and the presence of conflicts with members. In the SLP leaders’ challenges, they encountered financial difficulties, experienced limitations due to the pandemic, faced judgments and criticisms from members, dealt with uncooperative members, and confronted problems with responsibilities. In the SLP leaders’ coping strategies, they obtained the power of communication and acknowledged the help of patience and understanding, and in the SLP leaders’ insights, they dealt with their problems with the aid of patience and experience, the significance of cooperation, and the possible room for improvement. Furthermore, this study is substantial to the Social Work Practice as it yields the unfolding experiences of the SLP Leaders in one of the cities of Surigao del Sur, hence could induce a series of strategies to identify interventions for the betterment of the program

    Error correction preference of students: a qualitative inquiry

    In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in EnglishThis study is entitled Error Preference of Students: A Qualitative Inquiry, which aims to know how the students should be corrected in a way they wanted to . An in-depth interview (IDI) and focus group discussion (FGD) was conducted to 14 students, 7 for in-depth interview and 7 for focus group discussion. The participants were 2nd year college students at University of Mindanao Tagum College. We collected twenty-nine pieces of data from research question number one with six themes, and gathered four themes for the research question number two and four themes for the research question number three. The accumulated data from the study was coded, analyzed using data reduction, thematic analysis, drawing conclusions, and verification. The analyzing data from research question number one showed the immediate correction, correction by the teacher, lessen anxiety, corrective feedback post-performance, written corrections, and verbal corrections. It seems that all of these are driven reasons of the students in correcting their errors in language learning. In the research question number two showed, how the participants’ preferred ways of correction motivate them to learn the language, highlight self-correction, feedback from peers, feedbacking develops students, and reflection on errors are four themes emerged in the interview. And in terms to the insights of students on the importance of error correction, the teacher empathy, different approaches, transformative sentiments, and acceptance of mistakes are the four key themes that emerged during the interviews. In summary, students have different preferences in correcting their errors, yet, it is connected to one another. Techer’s strategies in correcting student's error may be applicable to some but not to all.xi, 77 page

    Service quality of spa centers in Tagum City: an assessment

    In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Tourism ManagementThis research study was on an emerging topic that was conceptualized to assess the service quality of spa centers in Tagum City. The goals of the study were to evaluate the service quality of spa centers in terms of empathy, assurance, responsiveness, reliability, and tangibility; and to recommend an enhancement proposal based on the result of the study. The study used a quantitative non-experimental research design and 301 respondents were surveyed through the survey questionnaire that was semi-adapted from the SERVQUAL 22-scale by Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry (1994). Mean is the data treatment used for this study. Findings revealed that the service quality of spa centers in Tagum City is very high empathy, very high in assurance, very high in responsiveness, and very high tangibility. This means that the five indicators of service quality are visible and effective in the spa centers in Tagum City. The outcome of this study shall be utilized as a basis for creating an enhancement proposal that will help the spa centers in Tagum City in the unpredictable changes of the hospitality industry and to address dynamism.658.8x, 39 page
