CHEDI: chicken disease identification using image processing

    No full text
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Computer ScienceIncludes bibliographic referencesChicken disease can affect poultry farmers and the agricultural industry in many ways, from severe acute infections with rapid and high mortality to moderate disorders. Left untreated, it can cause widespread chicken disease and death in poultry. A quick and profitable solution must be provided, given that chicken deaths might result in significant economic losses due to the decreased quality of chickens in agricultural products. Therefore, in this paper, implementing image processing has been used to utilize a mobile application that detects external diseases in chicken feet. The application creates a trained model using a neural network architecture using the dataset it has collected depending on the disease in the input image when the condition is recognized at the output for that image, together with the suggested therapy, to increase the accuracy and reliability of the findings.vii, 25 page

South Cotabato Arts and Cultural Center : an application on building performance and occupants' satisfaction correlation

    No full text
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureThe importance of post-occupancy evaluation as part of solving building and facilities management challenges has been an essential tool for improving building design and operations, meeting the needs of user occupants, and is pivotal in understanding the socio-economic, cultural, and environmental impacts of investment in building design. Cultural facilities must conduct maintenance programs as they are the prime economic drivers in the context of Koronadal City. However, extensive evidence shows that buildings sometimes perform less than they should. This fact introduces the "performance gap," defined as the gap between design performance and realization performance and the missing link between technical and user perspectives inside a building. This study aims to correlate the building performance and occupants’ satisfaction through post-occupancy evaluation as an approach to performance evaluation of South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center (SCGCC) with the following objectives: (1) to fill the performance gap by obtaining the correlation between the building performance of South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center and occupants’ satisfaction level; (2) to determine the occupants’ satisfaction level in terms of building elements, services, environment, social cohesion, and cultural values; (3) to determine success/failure of the current building design and performance as part of an evidence based design (EBD) approach. The study results revealed a significant correlation for both the user and technical perspective only on the indoor and outdoor landscape of SCGCC under the building environment. On the other hand, the overall indicators revealed the performance gap of having no significant correlation between the two variables

In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringBarangay halls are great venues to directly address and cater the needs of the people. But how can barangay officials give their service if they lack the facilities to accommodate their constituents? In this study, the property conditions of the old barangay hall and identifying its absent components to incorporate into the new multi-purpose barangay hall design were assessed using ASTM E 2018-08. The As-Built Analysis was conducted emulating the structural condition of the old barangay hall per ASCE 11-90 guidelines considering that no data was gather on Building Information Modeling (BIM) of the old barangay hall which aided in determining the structure’s integrity if it can still be used as a satellite building for the new multi-purpose barangay hall. The proponents then design the new multi-purpose building of the barangay Calinan, Riverside, Davao City which incorporates the green concepts such as rainwater harvesting system, daylight harvesting system, natural air ventilation system, shading devices, and grasscrete making it cost efficient
