criminal justice system. A total of 196 criminology interns previously enrolled in BAGSIK-TIKAS Class of 2023 at the University of Mindanao were surveyed using a total population technique since all population members were used as samples. The researchers used a correlational research method and obtained statistical data through quantitative research methods such as surveys and experiments. Data were analyzed and interpreted using the Mean and Pearson’s r to fulfill its objectives. The study found that internships have a significant impact on the career readiness of criminology students. The correlation between these off-campus experiences and valuable professional networks, applicable classroom learning, and new talent pipelines for
employers is very high. The study guides the University, criminology students, and intern coordinator to improve career choices and teaching methods for students to enhance their skills
Forecasting of the prices of cacao beans
In Partial Fulfillment for the Requirements of the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Education Major in Financial ManagementThe growth of the industry of cacao beans was seen in the country and how its prices slowly and constantly increased throughout the years. Forecasting the prices of cacao beans plays a critical role in the development of the economy and determining the best-fitted model to forecast the farmgate prices of cacao beans would greatly help accurately forecast the prices of cacao beans. In this study, the data collected was based on the information gathered and acquired from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), with its purpose to determine the farmgate prices of cacao beans in the next 4 years. The study used the time series ARIMA model and concluded it to be the best fitted model in forecasting the farmgate prices of cacao beans. The result shows that the forecasted farmgate prices of the cacao beans have a stable increase in the next 4 years and the probable reasons would be the growing demand and growing recognition of cacao and chocolate products domestically and globally. The challenges faced by the farmers contributes to the increase of the prices such as climate change that affect the production and supply of cacao beans, high-cost maintenance, and lack of knowledge of cacao growers in terms of proper agricultural practices

In order to collect the data needed for the study based on the indicators, the study used the adapted questionnaire and was modified to fit the study. The data gathered were analyzed by using a mean. From the result, investment got the lowest mean among the other three indicators. This indicates that a lack of knowledge on investment may have an impact on how they view and handle their finances. The researchers applied various recommendations, including an enhancement program that could help improve the knowledge and awareness of Wet Market Vendors in Tagum City in relation to investments.332.024vii, 27 page

a biological approach
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology - EcologyRivers are essential freshwater ecosystems that significantly support biodiversity and contribute to local and global economic productivity. This study assesses the water quality of Talomo River in Davao City using biotic indices such as the Biological Monitoring Working Party (BMWP) and Average Score per Taxon (ASPT) through the collection of aquatic macroinvertebrates. Two locations were surveyed, resulting in a combined total of 129 species: the upstream site included 114 distinct species, while the downstream site contained 15 distinct species. BMWP and ASPT revealed that the water quality in the upstream site was “acceptable” while the downstream is in “very critical” condition. Diversity indices (Shannon-Weiner, Equitability, Simpson's Dominance, and Reciprocal) were used to quantify species diversity, evenness, and dominance. Although the
diversity ranges at the two locations are almost identical, the downstream site exhibits higher dominance and lower evenness than the upstream values. The results highlight the complex ecological interdependencies within the Talomo River, emphasizing the need for continuous research to assess the river's well-being and preserve biodiversity
