In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringConcrete is not a good structural material on its own. There are simply too many sources of tension for it to handle on its own; as a result, in most cases adding reinforcement is needed to increase its strength. The goal of this study is to get more knowledge about the sansevieria trifasciata ber, which may be utilized to reinforce concrete naturally and increase its compressive and flexural strengths, checking visible cracks and continuing the incomplete study of the previous researchers about using sansevieria trifasciata ber as strengthening material for reinforced concrete. Compressive and flexural strength tests and re-resistant tests were used to evaluate the strength of the different design mixtures with 0%, 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5% of fiber. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Scheffe's method were used to analyze all the results. The samples were statistically comparable in the compressive strength and re-resistant tests, which means there are no significant differences. However, in the flexural strength test, comparing the 0.1% design mixture with the other mixtures shows a considerable difference, and its mean flexural strength is above the minimum standard flexural strength of concrete. Adding 0.1% of sansevieria trifasciata ber in the design mixture shows that it exceeded the value of the minimum standard of M25 grade as per IS 456:2000, which can be concluded that it is safe to use sansevieria trifasciata ber as a natural reinforced concrete to significantly improve the concrete's exural strength, as well as it helps in minimizing the cracks and lowering the chance of spalling to occur

This study further reviewed and analyzed the guidelines on developing facilities intended for training that is conducive for learning. The study utilized a quantitative method, and data was collected through an electronic survey method, online survey form. The instrumentation was adapted from a reliable and related study. In the end, seventy-nine (79) valid responses were gathered from the online survey link provided. Analysis of data was done through descriptive method and one-way ANOVA. According to data and key findings, the students would rely their method of intake in knowledge on how they behave on particular situations. It was evaluated that student tend to favor situation and activities that require physical activity, where they could utilize their hands or their whole body to for the purpose of learning. This entails that movement and hands-on application are the primary approach for these particular learners. Data similarly indicated that learning through visual perception is evident to the entire study sample that took participation in the study, as it ranks second as the most favored situation, this entails that institution should reinforce learning with different technology on visual supplementation to meet the mismatch in the delivery of information. However, as study suggest that every individual is auditory learners by nature and shall only be aided with visual supplementation and a bit of hands-on application if needed, this study assessed that situation oriented towards the use of the auditory perception ranks as the least favored. Although, this is auditory modality did not satisfy the student preference, it should not be neglected but develop for it to be functional. Lastly, the research findings entails that the traditional instructor-centered method will likely be obsolete as the structured system of instruction progress. Supplementation for every learning style should be addressed by careful planning of program to provide services. Additionally, developments should be adequately planned and designed to facilitate and provide refuge for the intended activities of training

Drywall is a panel of gypsum plaster pressed between two thick sheets of paper. It is one of the significant types of construction and demolition debris in modern society. However, drywall is not water-resistant when exposed, especially when installed in high- moisture rooms, and it also has many issues with gypsum mining, which poses a potential threat to the environment. This study aims to design a drywall board utilizing sugarcane ash and sunflower seed husk to replace Gypsum to alleviate its adverse effects. The study determined the physical and mechanical properties of the drywall reinforced with Sugarcane Ash (SA) and Sunflower Seed Husk (SH), as well as the ideal mix ratio. According to the results, C5 resulted in the highest average compressive and flexural strength, 9.15 MPa and 8.51 MPa, respectively, showing a significant increase in compressive strength (7.52%) and flexural strength (8.57%). On the contrary, the density and water absorption decreased in value when the percentage of SA was low, and the percentage of SH was high. The findings showed that utilizing a mixture of sugarcane ash and sunflower seed husk enhanced the properties of the drywall. Furthermore, using SA and SH has successfully achieved its goals to utilize the potential of Sugarcane Ash and Sunflower Seed Husk's waste material to design a new drywall board and evaluate its mechanical and physical properties

In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Mechanical EngineeringIn the construction field in industry, manual labor is highly demanded in all aspects of the work; prior to that, the manual ability to place tiles was required, which takes much longer than spreading cement, aligning, and adjusting the size of tiles. Because there will be manual scraping of cement mortar on the floor before tile installation, there will be a significant demand for labor, and aside from that, the cost of construction or project work is likely to increase. The manual labor skill will reflect the quality of the work in the manual scraping process. The solution to these problems is simply semi-automating the procedure; it will save time and money and result in a quality scraping of cement mortar. The semi-automated scraper machine can scrape the floor semi-automatically. It will create a square scraped output that is best for laying the tiles to avoid damage and ensure longevity. In a bucket of 80% cement and 20% can fully operate by addition, the average length test is 84.03 inches with the accuracy tiles of 70.213 inches that can fully operate the 83.56% length. At least 9 to 11 tiles to install, particularly the edge of the cement surface length, to install an 8x8” tile at a machine efficiency power output of 49.32%. Due to the fast pace and less labor required, it will save both cost and time, which helps reduce the total cost as total time consumed is a factor in the growth and success of the country
