Mental budgeting and financial management of business administration students of UM Peñaplata college
This study aimed to assess the business administration students of UM Peñaplata college. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method, comparing different groups within the sample. the research instrument was an adopted and modified questionnaire assessing how UM Peñaplata college students were stressed. The data collected were analyzed using Person R and mean. Moreover, 175 BSBA students at UM Peñaplata college participated in the study using a survey questionnaire. The result showed that the physiological and sensory responses have the highest mean of the students' high-stress levels, and the lowest mean is 1.00 mean, which is the physiological response. BSBA students often face financial stress due to various factors. Hence, students' income varies significantly based on their experience and working hours. For instance, bad weather conditions can risk their safety and affect their income due to a lock of job opportunities in the market. this can lead to a high level of stress among students. the financial stress experienced by students is a significant concern due to the challenging and risky nature of their occupation. BSBA students often face high levels of financial pressure from various factors such as unpredictable income, economic uncertainties, and the demanding costs associated with their profession
Impact of green marketing on consumer buying behavior towards pharmaceutical products of pharmacies in Panabo City
The purpose of conducting this study is to determine the relationship between Green Marketing and Consumer Buying Behavior towards Pharmaceutical Products of Pharmacies in Panabo City, The data were gathered for the study using Quantitative non-experimental and correlational methods through survey questionnaires. This study involved the N = 58 Registered Pharmacists and their Assistant Pharmacists The study results revealed that green marketing and consumer buying behavior towards pharmaceutical products has a significant positive relationship. The inclusive participants of this study are the registered pharmacies and assistant pharmacies, which are mostly high school or college undergraduates, will take their place and be the respondents. The study excluded the pharmacy staff, who primarily focused on providing services. The overall mean of the independent variable which is Green Marketing has the overall mean of 4.12 in which the descriptive equivalent was very high, indicating that the level of pharmaceutical products in pharmacies, registered pharmacists, and their assistant pharmacists have been acquainted with green marketing. Also, the dependent variable’s overall mean was 4.29 within the bounds of the descriptive equivalent; it was very high
Financial behavior and financial well-being among household heads of barangay Anonang
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between financial behavior and financial well-being among household heads of Barangay Anonang. The study employed quantitative descriptive correlational, utilizing statistical tools such as the mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis to analyze the obtained data. We used simple random sampling; this method allows researchers to statistically measure a subset of individuals selected from a larger population group to approximate a response from the entire group. Data collection involved distributing a survey questionnaire to 90 household heads in Barangay Anonang. The result is relatively high financial wellbeing among households in eleven Puroks of Barangay Anonang. It's important to note that this score is on a scale where a higher score represents better financial wellbeing. results revealed that the overall mean of financial behavior is high. Pearson correlation found a strong correlation between the two variables, and regression analysis showed a direct link between financial behavior and financial well-being among the respondents. Implications for this study suggest that the community may promote financial behavior programs, should support financial education initiatives, and financial institutions should offer tailored advisory services
Financial stress faced by fisherman in Island Garden City of Samal
This study aimed to assess the fishermen facing financial stress in the Island Garden City of Samal. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method, comparing different groups within the sample. The research instrument used was an adopted questionnaire, which assessed how to fishermen in IGACOS were stressed. The data collected were analyzed using appropriate descriptive methods and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Moreover, 100 fishermen participated in the study using a survey questionnaire. The result showed that the physiological response and sensory response have the highest mean of the high level of stress of the fishermen, and the lowest mean is 3.63 mean, which is the response: physiological response. Fishermen often face financial stress due to various factors. Hence, fishermen's income varies significantly based on their experience and working hours. For instance, bad weather conditions can risk their safety and affect their income due to a lack of job opportunities in the market. This can lead to a high level of stress among the fishermen. Natural disaster prevention literacy education among intermediate level students in Angel Villarica Central School
This study aims to determine the significant difference in natural disaster prevention literacy education at Angel Villarica Central School among intermediate-level students. This study has used a descriptive design. The 186 participants were selected using simple random sampling from the student population ranging in grade levels from 4 to 6 using statistical tools such as the T-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The findings revealed that intermediate-level students at Angel Villarica Central Elementary School have a high general grasp of natural disaster prevention literacy education, indicating that these natural catastrophes occur is evident. Furthermore, the results show no significant difference in students' natural disaster preventative literacy education based on grade level or age. This means that regardless of a student's demographics, educational endeavors in this field are probably inclusive and accessible to many students. This study highlights the necessity of teaching natural disaster prevention in schools across grades and focusing on providing the students with the knowledge and perception needed to improve their natural disaster prevention skills
Exploring business sustainability: a case study of enterprises thriving on the Island
This research investigated how enterprises on the Island Garden City of Samal manged to sustain themselves amidst challenges. Although enterprises have used several strategies and ways on how to maintain its business sustainability, the complex business environment makes company survival and expansion difficult. This study draws upon the Business Resilience Theory, Aldrich's theory, and the Resource-based view to examine how enterprises in Samal Island maintain its sustainability. A sample size 3 enterprises in Samal Island was used in this study as the research participants. This approach was supported by Dr. Robert K. Yin which states that, it is acceptable to carry out a case study or research with just three participants. Analysis of enterprises in Samal Island reveals that theses enterprises had experience multiples challenges while securing business sustainability, including digitalization difficulties, financial constraints, and post-pandemic challenges. Despite these challenges, the enterprises showcased resilience to sustain their businesses. Strategies such as adaptation to evolving circumstances, financial agility, and perseverance were implemented by the selected enterprises to navigate the challenges effectively. In addition, the experiences and challenges faced by the enterprises builds adaptability, resilience and flexibility shaping business sustainability in a more dynamic and evolving environment
Islamic financial literacy and well-being of Muslim people in Island Garden City of Samal
This study aimed to investigate the financial literacy and well-being of Muslim individuals residing in Barangay Limao, Island Garden City of Samal. A quantitative descriptive correlational design was employed, with a sample size of 100 participants. The sampling technique used in this text is a non-probability sampling method, specifically a form of convenience sampling. Convenience sampling involves selecting participants who are readily available and accessible. In this case, the researchers selected participants who were residents of Barangay Limao and were active and available during the survey period. Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and Pearson's correlation coefficient (r) were used to analyze the data. The results revealed that the descriptive of financial behavior scored moderately high, indicating that such behaviors are sometimes exhibited. A significant positive correlation was found between financial literacy and well-being, suggesting that individuals with high financial financial literacy tend to adopt better savings habits. Furthermore, the study found tat Muslim individuals' financial behavior is influenced by factors such as savings attitude and motivation, with financial knowledge playing a more significant role in shaping savings behavior than financial literacy. The findings show a significant relationship between financial literacy and well-being. This study provides valuable insights into the financial literacy and well-being of Muslim populations in Island Garden City of Samal, with practical implications for policymakers, educators, and individuals seeking to improve their financial well-being

Major in Financial ManagementThis study aims to determine the Propensity to Save among pharmacists in Davao City. It seeks to assess the level of personal and behavioral factors in terms of financial literacy, peer influence, and self-control and the level of propensity to save among pharmacists indicated by their saving habits. Descriptive-correlational research was used. The research instrument used in this study is a modified survey questionnaire adapted from a study of Hashim (2014) entitled, ―Factors that Influence Saving Habits among Gen Y: Case Study on students of Polytechnic Sultan Azlan Shah‖. The researchers applied the research sampling technique, non-probability, and purposive sampling method to acquire thirty (30) pharmacists as the respondents. The statistical tools utilized to analyze and interpret the data being gathered were mean and Pearson correlation coefficient. The findings demonstrate that financial literacy has a significant relationship with saving habits while peer influence and self-control reveal that there’s no significant relationship with saving habits among the pharmacists in Davao City. Overall, it explains that the financial literacy has a huge impact on the propensity to save among pharmacy professionals as it tells how this can be a tool for them to embody financial freedom and well-being to manage its own money effectively in the long-run
Echoes of unease: cases of senior high school students with glossophobia
This qualitative multiple-case study envisioned comprehending cases of students' glossophobic experiences at the identified public high schools in island Garden City of Samal. Purposive sampling was used to identify the four Grade 12 senior high school students under HUMSS strand were the cases in this study who underwent in-depth interviews (IDI). Results showed emerging factors causing glossophobia which are retrieval of traumatic experiences, negative self-perception, teachers' expectations, classmates' reactions, lack of comprehension, English language anxiety and parents' expectations. Meanwhile, participants' coping mechanisms with glossophobia include seeking support, reading, experiential learning, watching public speaking, socializing, self-talk, self-encouragement, relaxation, breathing exercises, and finding comfort in familiarity. Lessons learned by participants from their experiences are speaking strategies, taking criticism constructively, self-efficacy, supportive learning environment, greatness of faith, students' engagement, and self-reflection. Results implied for students to overcome glossophobia, they must be exposed into certain activities. Also, teachers' and parents' vital role is to promote a positive and supportive learning environment. Overall, the researchers learned that students need to be engaged in a positive and supportive learning environment to develop their confidence and courage in speaking

In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Hospitality ManagementBecause of the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism has become more strict in terms of following health and safety protocols, and tourists have varying intentions when visiting resorts. The transition from open and unrestricted vacation to health and safety protocol-driven vacation was instantaneous. This qualitative study examined stakeholders' new normal tourism practices, intentions, and experiences. The goal of this research is to investigate stakeholders' perspectives on the effectiveness of the new normal practices and their intention to visit resorts in Baganga Davao Oriental. The descriptive research design was used in this study. The researchers obtained the information by interviewing ten tourists in Baganga Davao Oriental resorts. A personal in-depth interview was used to conduct individual interviews. According to the study's findings, their intentions in visiting Baganga resorts are to relax, bond with family and friends, and explore the scenery. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the new standard practices aided them in attracting tourists to their resorts in order to ensure safety, secure travel experience, promote convenience, and ensure leisure and relaxation. The findings of this study may provide tourism management with information about developing effective tourism practices that can help improve tourism
