INTERVENTION SOLUTIONS ON LANDSLIDES IN ROAD AREAS. CASE STUDY
In our country, there is a large variety of foundation soils, some of them having inferior characteristics to those necessary for the proper support of a communication path. This raises some of the most common problems in the field of road infrastructures, namely the sliding of slopes in the area related to road construction. This phenomenon appears more and more frequently, especially after some periods with accentuated atmospheric instability, sometimes leading to the partial inability to use the affected infrastructure sector. In some cases, the development of this phenomenon can lead to the traffic blockage and the isolation of the communities in the area, to the destruction of a well-defined road sector and even to the loss of human lives. In order to maintain the quality requirements imposed by the law and to limit the risk of reaching the limit state of normal operation, respectively of compromising the structure, the administrators and the staff who are directly involved in the maintenance and the expertise of the affected area, achieve direct examination works or investigation by means of specific observation and measurement. In the current practice, these works are part of the technical expertise of the affected area, being made by a specialized team, led by an authorized technical expert in the field
CROSSING SPEEDS OF CARS THROUGH SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS
The article deals with the problem of traffic in three traffic-light intersections in the street network of Iasi city. Usually, the existing traffic lights do not fully take into account the size, structure and parameters of the queue of vehicles waiting at intersections; which in turn affects the traffic capacity of the intersection. In the study, we used a representative set of measurements taken at the three intersections to interpret the variation in the crossing speeds of the traffic light intersection space by the vehicle columns using the linear regression method. We studied several categories of vehicles queuing before the stop line at the intersection. We made a statistical analysis of the time taken to cross three intersections by vehicles in different starting positions. The main results of the research showed estimates in good agreement with observational data as well as a significant reduction in vehicle speed (to 58%) when there are different categories of vehicles queuing at the intersection. This study can be used in the urban traffic diagnosis method, being part of a traffic study together with urban traffic forecasting and therapy
OPPORTUNITY OF USING A MIXED NEUTRAL TREATMENT SOLUTION IN THE DISTRIBUTION ELECTRICAL NETWORKS OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA
The optimal solution selection for the treatment of the neutral point in distribution networks (6-35 kV) holds significant practical importance as it directly or indirectly affects the continuity and reliability of supplying electrical energy to consumers, the behavior of medium-voltage electrical networks under single-phase fault conditions, and its impact on the quality of the power distribution service (duration and frequency of power interruptions). It also affects resulting overvoltages, adopted technical solutions, level of electrical security assurance, investments, and so forth. Developing a mathematical model for various methods of treating the neutral point in distribution networks allows for the calculation and analysis of these operating conditions, identifying the optimal one, thus avoiding experimental attempts that are limited by the advanced wear of equipment within the electrical networks of the Republic of Moldova. Based on the developed mathematical model, comparative calculations are performed regarding the feasibility of implementing the combined neutral regime
PERCEPTION OF STYLE INFLUENCES IN ARCHITECTURAL SPACE
This research presents a theoretical study, which reflects the importance, possibilities, and character of stylistics observed in some periods of time and manifested in objects and interior elements in public or private architectural spaces in Moldova. The author reflects on the role of research by observing and exploiting the stylistic interference of other cultures and nations, the creations of representatives in the field, and by forming a complex picture of the Moldovan interior space. The influence of stylistic elements on the interior space in different periods of time is elucidated, observed, and implemented in the residential or non-residential space through form and constructive materials, interior design, organization and zoning, furniture, stylistic detailing, but also through visual arts in painting and graphics, real historical portraits, landscape paintings, interiors from different localities and periods of time, demonstrating the undeniable richness of the cultural heritage of the Republic of Moldova, but also the need for research and exploitation of the national treasure
OPTIMIZING COMPUTER NETWORK LEARNING THROUGH SEQUENTIAL E-LEARNING BASED ON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
Practical experiences applied in the design of modules for the Computer Networks (CN) course unit are described, taking into account the main elements in this process, the specifics of teamwork, the structure and content of the 27 recorded modules/lessons (17 video lessons for teaching the theoretical content and 10 lessons for practical laboratory content), forms of teaching material representation and applied Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The concept of multiple step learning (MLS) is a way to create eLearning courses that reflect the knowledge up to the course or topic to be discussed. The RC course unit is described as innovative with eLearning, content presented at different levels of complexity and each next stage explaining the topic in more detail than the previous content (interdisciplinary connections for better understanding). Based on student feedback, the MLS RC for the 2022/2023 study year has been supplemented with 2 methodical guidelines for carrying out practical and laboratory work (the first guideline medium level of complexity, guideline 2 high level of complexity – laboratory instructions explained step by step)
Cercetări privind crearea liniilor consangvinizate și a hibrizilor de porumb timpuriu
The paper presents the synthesis of multiannual investigations concerning the development of inbred lines and early maize hybrids. 2874 sources were used over the period 1981-2020 for inbreeding and phenotypical selection, out of which 532 constant families were selected and were subject to preliminary assessment in terms of their production capacity, then transferred to the operational collection. The consequent testing resulted in the selection of 36 original lines used as parents of registered hybrids. At present, the related crosses – 56,7%, single cross hybrids – 31,6%, backcrosses – 11,4% and foreign hybrids – 0,3% are used as sources of initial material. The germplasm of alternative heterotic groups Reid Iodent – 40,1%, Euroflint – 28,9%, BSSS-B37 – 12,6%, Lancaster – 11,6%, Dent mixt – 4,0% and Dent canadian – 2,8% predominates in the lines’ pedigree. The heterotic patterns Reid Iodent x Euroflint and Reid Iodent x BSSS-B37 are mostly used for hybrid development. The production of commercial seeds for export is assured by 9 registered hybrids FAO 160-240 registered in Belarus. The hybrids Porumbeni 310, Porumbeni 305 and Alimentar 325 are used for cultivation in the Republic of Moldova
Unele aspecte privind studiul creșterilor în diametru la goruneturile de provenienţă vegetativă (lăstari) din Republica Moldova
It is known that the growth rate of a tree, respectively, a stand, during its life differs from one period of life to another. Thus, the growth rate is more accelerated at the beginning of life, so that, achieving the peak of growth in volume, this rate gradually decreases, becoming more and more weak in old age, until the tree stand passes into a state of decrepitude. This variation in the process of accumulation of wood biomass makes the economic efficiency of the tree, respectively, the stand, which varies depending on the development phase, i.e. its age. This increase in volume, usually expressed by the current annual growth of the tree, respectively, the stand at the level of measurement unit and transferred to total yield, ultimately defines its economic efficiency, which in turn varies according to the amplitude of the variation of the growth index. In this context, the purpose of this aper was to evaluate the diameter increments of sessile oak stands (Quercus petraea Liebl.) of vegetative origin from shoots in the Republic of Moldova in relation to the yield class, age and generation originating from shoots, as well as in relation to the composition and consistency of the stand at the level of physical-geographical areas and phytoclimatic levels.

Evaluări microbiologice ale unor sortimente de brânzeturi
The scientific researches presented in this paper aimed to study the aspects of the bacterial microflora in some assortments of cheese in their fresh state and in various refrigeration periods, sold in the industrial network, according to the scheme of classical microbiological laboratory procedure. Bacterioscopic and bacteriological investigations evaluated the number of Streptococcus and Lactobacillus colonies, yeast cells and conditionally pathogenic species in hard and soft cheeses. Obtained data confirmed the presence of a normal bacterial microflora resulted from the lactic fermentation mechanism. Potential pathogenic microorganisms like Salmonella, Staphylococcus and coliform bacteria were not identified. These researches are of public interest as evidenced by the fact that dairy products sold in markets are of high quality and meet food safety and marketing requirements
Effect of added sulphur dioxide levels on the aroma characteristics of wines from Panciu wine region
In the wine-making process, the yeasts form over 20 higher alcohols that improve the sensation of palatine veil for the wine. The amount of higher alcohols is lower for white and rosé wines obtained from clarified musts fermented at moderate temperatures. The formation of higher alcohols is confirmed by the fact that the addition of certain nitrogen compounds to a glucose-containing culture medium leads, after the fermentation, to an increase in the higher alcohol content. Data evaluate by comparison the levels of higher alcohols, esters and aldehydes, important to fermentation process in case of several wines from Panciu region. The wine-making was done by classical methods and by using specific protocols for low content sulphur dioxide. This study is focused to compare wines obtained from two grape varieties produced at industrial level: Feteasca regala vs. Feteasca regala Frizzante and Cabernet Sauvignon rosé vs. Cabernet Sauvignon. The compounds were analyzed by GC-FID method with head-space technique for methanol, 1-propanol, 2-methyl-propanol, 1-butanol, ethyl acetate, ethyl lactate, isoamyl acetate and acetaldehyde. The results showed that in almost every comparative study the levels of aroma compounds are maintained, when compared with the wines with low content of sulphur dioxide. Tuckey test showed that 1-propanol and ethyl acetate register statistically significant differences for Cabernet Sauvignon rosé and for Feteasca regala Frizzante.
