    The latest realities of development of the medical services sector have highlighted the effectiveness of innovation management as an important factor in the competitiveness of a medical organization. The authors hypothesized that at this stage certain challenges have emerged that have identified a number of problems for managing innovation in the field of medical services. So, they create threats to the competitiveness of organizations that cannot find reliable approaches to managing innovation in real-world conditions. A study of the flow of innovations in the medical field in recent years has confirmed this situation.     AN OVERVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF THE NAMIBIAN FINANCIAL SYSTEM FOCUSING ON THE BANKING SECTOR

    This article examines the evolution of Namibia’s financial system post-independence in 1990. The structure and composition of the financial system is discussed along its contributions to employment creation and economic growth. The ownership structure of the banking sector and its overall performance is also outlined. The finding reveals that there has been a significant increase in the influence of non-bank financial intermediaries, meanwhile the dominance of the financial sector continues to shrink with mounting credit risk pressures. The financial sector’s contribution to employment creation has been quite minimum and is likely to continue in the foreseeable future as developments in the artificial intelligence world accelerate. The practical policy interventions emanating from this assessment necessitate a serious consideration

    THE PERSPECTIVES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE IN THE SOCIETY

    The world has never been so open to scientific research and technological development as it is today, nor has human competence evolved so rapidly in directions not previously appreciated. The pace of discoveries is faster, although there are scientific fields in which goals are achieved more slowly and with considerable collective effort. However, we find that the successes achieved in the field of science have had an enormous impact on people's mentality and as a consequence have formed the belief that reflects science as a dominant factor in contemporary society. A philosophical reflection on the process of scientific development reveals that for a long time, the physical sciences have been dominant, and in recent years we are witnessing a fulminating development of biology (genetics), which has not only economic implications but also the ethical implications of a major importance. At the same time, the contemporary society of information and knowledge attests to obvious factors of a unique phenomenon called integrative science. It is projected at the integrative frontier of the astrophysics field that combines the processes of the universe constitution as a quantum system (processes that go beyond the theory of quantum mechanics, but also the theory of super lathes) and the processes of life, mind and consciousness. Integrative science proposes a new understanding of reality, even the one considered today purely structural. We hope that integrative science theories will reflect the reality that includes Consciousness as a fundamental factor of Existence

    STUDIUL PRIVIND COMPONENȚA STAFILINIDELOR (COLEOPTERA, STAPHYLINIDAE) ÎN BIOTOP DE ROMANIȚĂ

    This study provides the first-ever data on staphylinids inhabiting the wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) biotope. The research was conducted in April and May 2022, within a 3-are field with wild chamomile plants in the flowering stage. The findings, outlined in this paper, encompass 26 species from 4 subfamilies and 19 genera. Notably, a new species for the fauna of the Republic of Moldova was reported: Tachyporus dispar (Paykull, 1789), belonging to the Tachyporinae subfamily. The research presented in this paper completes the chapter on staphylinid faunal diversity within the country’s territory and highlights the potential for exploring new biotopes with other medicinal plants, thereby enhancing the attraction of this group of Coleoptera. În actuala lucrare pentru prima dată se prezintă date referitoare la stafilinidele care populează biotopul de romaniță (Matricaria chamomilla). Cercetările s-au realizat în lunile aprilie și mai, anul 2022, pe un teren cu o suprafață de 3 ari, cu plante de romaniță în faza de înflorire. Lista prezentată în lucrare încadrează 26 de specii din 4 subfamilii și 19 genuri. O nouă semnalare pentru fauna Republicii Moldova este specia Tachyporus dispar (Paykull, 1789), din subfamilia Tachyporinae. Acest studiu prezentat în lucrare completează capitolul diversității faunistice a stafilinidelor pe teritoriul țării și posibilitatea de a explora biotopuri noi cu alte plante medicinale care ar spori atracția acestui grup de coleoptere

    APRECIEREA PARAMETRILOR DE CALITATE ȘI SIGURANȚĂ LA CARNEA DE PASĂRE REFRIGERATĂ, REALIZATĂ ÎN CONSUMUL PUBLIC

    The study assessed the quality and safety parameters of poultry meat from two local producers. Broiler chicken carcasses, refrigerated and packed in polyethylene, were collected from the marketing network for laboratory evaluations at the Republican Center for Veterinary Diagnostics. Organoleptic properties such as external appearance, appearance in section, consistency, smell, and color exhibited optimal characteristics within the requirements of the regulations in force. Physicochemical indices including pH value, protein and fat content, and reaction to peroxidase met regulatory standards. Microbiological analysis revealed the absence of pathogenic microorganisms such as Salmonella, E. coli beta-glucuronides positive, UFC/g, and Staphylococcus aureus, indicating safety for consumers. Heavy metal residues such as cadmium and lead did not exceed the maximum permissible limits. În prezentul studiu s-au apreciat parametrii de calitate și siguranță a cărnii de pasăre produsă de doi producători locali. Investigațiile au fost realizate pe carcase de pui broiler, refrigerate, ambalate în polietilenă și colectate din rețeaua de comercializare. Evaluările de laborator au fost realizate în cadrul Centrului Republican de Diagnostică Veterinară. Proprietățile organoleptice evaluate (aspectul exterior, aspect în secțiune, consistență, miros și culoare) au prezentat caracteristici apreciabile, care se încadrează în cerințele normativelor în vigoare pentru aceste produse. Indicii fizico- chimici (valoarea pH, conținutul de proteine, grăsimi, reacția la peroxidază, etc.) au demonstrat valori care, de asemenea, corespund cerințelor normativelor în vigoare. În rezultatul investigațiilor microbiologice nu au fost detectate microorganisme patogene precum: Salmonella, E. Coli beta-glucoronidază pozitivă, UFC/g, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., care ar afecta sănătatea consumatorilor. Reziduurile de metale grele (cadmiu, plumb) nu depășesc limitele maxime admisibile

    APLICAREA UNOR PRODUSE BIORAȚIONALE PENTRU PROTECȚIA CULTURII DE PRUN ÎMPOTRIVA CLASTEROSPORIOZEI ȘI POLISTIGMOZEI

    The paper presents the results of research on the efficacy of biorational preparations Carbecol and Funecol in the control of two fungal phytopathogenic organisms (Clasterosporium carpophilum and Polystigma rubrum). The researches were carried out in 2023 in two plum orchards located in different localities. The chemical fungicide Pencozeb was used as standard. The recording of the evidence, the assessment of the frequency of pathogen attack, the intensity of the disease development and the determination of the biological efficacy of the tested products were carried out according to classical methods. The preparations Carbecol and Funecol demonstrated effective action against fungal pathogens in both locations and no significant statistical differences were revealed with respect to the chemical product Pencozeb. For the control of Clasterosporium carpophilum the preparation Carbecol achieved efficacy levels of 82.18-83%, Funecol – 84.88-87.1% and the standard – 83.78-84.95%. As regards Polystigma rubrum, the biological efficacy was of 82.81-85.65% (Carbecol), 85.94-89.59 (Funecol) and 86.72-87.65 (standard). În lucrare se prezintă rezultatele cercetărilor privind eficacitatea preparatelor bioraționale Carbecol și Funecol în controlul a 2 organisme fitopatogene de natură micotică (Clasterosporium carpophilum și Polystigma rubrum). Cercetările au fost realizate în anul 2023 pe două terenuri cu livadă de prun, situate în localități diferite. Fungicidul chimic Pencozeb a fost utilizat în calitate de etalon. Înregistrarea evidențelor, aprecierea frecvenței atacului, intensității dezvoltării bolii și determinarea eficacității biologice a produselor testate s-a efectuat după metodele clasice. Carbecol și Funecol au demonstrat o acțiune eficientă împotriva patogenilor micotici la pomii de prun în ambele localități și nu s-au înregistrat diferențe statistice semnificative față de produsul chimic Pencozeb. În combaterea patogenului Clasterosporium carpophilum preparatul Carbecol a atins niveluri de eficacitate de 82.18-83%, Funecol – 84.88-87.1%, iar etalonul – 83.78-84.95%. În ceea ce privește Polystigma rubrum, eficacitatea biologică a fost de 82.81-85.65% (Carbecol), 85.94-89.59 (Funecol) și 86.72-87.65 (etalon)

    PARTICULARITĂȚI EPIDEMIOLOGICE ȘI MANIFESTĂRI CLINICE ÎN ENTERITA PARVOVIROTICĂ CANINĂ

    The research aimed to assess the epidemiological situation regarding canine parvovirus enteritis in Chisinau city. The monitoring of the disease was carried out during the years 2021-2023 on a number of 3776 animals subjected to investigations in two veterinary clinics. The obtained results demonstrated that the disease has an endemic spread in the city of Chisinau, with a year incidence of 7,3%, being more often encountered in the warm periods of the year, predominantly effecting young dogs aged between 2 and 6 monts. The sources of contamination with the pathogen are very different, but the transmission of the disease takes place primarily through direct contact with sick animal or with those carrying the virus, or through contaminated objects in the environment, especially in dog walking areas. From the total number of examined dogs, 277 were diagnosed with parvovirus enteritis, the lethality level being of 19,9%. The most effective disease control measure is active immunization, which provides for the systematic vaccination of young dogs according to the recommendation by the vaccine manufacturers, as well as the observance of hygiene and biosecurity measures in the dog maintenance process. Cercetările au avut ca scop studierea situației epidemiologice a enteritei parvovirotice canine în municipiul Chișinău. Monitorizarea bolii s-a efectuat în perioada 2021-2023, pe un eșantion de 3776 de animale în cadrul a două clinici veterinare. Rezultatele obținute au demonstrat că boala are o răspândire endemică în Municipiul Chișinău, cu o incidență anuală de 7,3%, fiind întâlnită mai frecvent în perioadele calde ale anului și afectând predominant câinii tineri cu vârste cuprinse între 2 și 6 luni. Sursele de contaminare cu agentul patogen sunt foarte diverse, însă transmiterea bolii are loc prioritar prin contactul direct cu animale bolnave sau purtătoare de virus, precum și prin obiectele din mediu contaminate, în special pe terenurile de plimbare a câinilor. Din numărul total de câini examinați, 277 au fost diagnosticați cu enterită parvovirotică, iar nivelul de letalitate a constituit 19,9%. Măsura cea mai eficientă de control al bolii o constituie imunizarea activă, care prevede vaccinarea sistematică a câinilor tineri conform recomandărilor producătorilor de vaccinuri, precum și respectarea măsurilor de igienă și de biosecuritate în procesul de întreținere a câinilor

    THE OPTIMIZATION OF VIDEO TRANSMISSION QUALITY IN WIRELESS NETWORKS

    The transmission of video stream over wireless networks is used by many applications and services, from the use of equipment in home communication networks to those carrying the video surveillance stream. Numerous technical challenges may arise when the unpredictable characteristics of the radio channel align or do not align with the stipulated requirements for transmission bandwidth and the necessary latency for transporting video data. All these challenges prevent users from experiencing smooth video streaming. Depending on the application scenarios, video service emphasis may vary according of Quality of Experience - QoE or parameter used traditionally in the networks, Quality of Service - QoS. The purpose of the research consists in optimization of the flow service, which ensures the adaptability of video communication to changes of conditions over the wireless computer network. As a result of a thorough analysis of the video playback characteristics related to the wireless channel, the most optimal approach in optimizing the quality of the video stream service over a wireless LAN requiring minimal modifications was identified, and namely system centric approach

    PROPANOL DETECTION DEVICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MONITORING THE QUALITY OF THE ENVIRONMENT

    The aim of this study was to develop and characterize CuO/Cu2O functionalized with AgPt nanostructures for gas sensing applications. Environmental pollution remains a pressing global concern, requiring effective detection methods. Metal oxide nanostructures, such as those based on copper oxides, offer promising solutions due to their sensitivity and selectivity for various gases. The research investigated the morphology and structure of the nanostructures using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Raman spectroscopy. In addition, the nanostructures were functionalized with noble metals such as silver and platinum to enhance their sensory properties. The deposition of polymer layers has been investigated as a method to improve sensor selectivity. The gas sensing properties of the CuO/Cu2O/AgPt nanostructures were evaluated using the Keithley 2400 source meter and showed high sensitivity to gases such as propanol, acetone, hydrogen, and ammonia at elevated temperatures. The results showed that higher operating temperatures result in faster response and recovery times. In addition, the nanostructures exhibited saturation in response at higher concentrations of certain gases. These results highlighted the potential of CuO/Cu2O/AgPt nanostructures in environmental monitoring applications, particularly in industries prone to gas emissions. Overall, this research contributes to the advancement of gas sensing technology for pollution prevention and control efforts
