Penggunaan contoh dalam pembelajaran matematika sekolah menengah dalam persepsi guru

    No full text
The use of example in learning mathematics at secondary level: teachers\u27 perceptions Abstract Giving examples in mathematics teaching is something that is naturally done by the teacher in the classroom, but an interesting concern is the perception of the teacher who uses the example in mathematics teaching in the spirit of constructivism demanded in Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia. This research aims to identify what the teacher uses in selecting examples and what obstacles the teacher experiences when choosing the example. The research method used is the case study qualitative research method. The data were analyzed to determine the themes and to see the interrelationships among the themes. The subjects of this study are 22 teachers who used examples of questions in teaching in class. The results of the study show that: (1) giving examples is important because it can facilitate teachers to instill concepts for new materials and to sharpen the students\u27 understanding of concepts that they have obtained; (2) there is a clear relationship between teacher pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and the use of examples provided by teachers to students; and (3) the constraints experienced by the teacher in determining the example of a good problem are determining the example that can facilitate gifted intelligent students and slow learner students with appropriate contexts and procedures and how to predict possible mistakes students can make in learning in the classroom

This study aims to reveal the metacognitive failures experienced by mathematics pre-service teachers based on their mistakes when solving problems in online learning during the pandemic era. This case study involved 29 participants who attended the mathematical problem test and cognitive style test, the two participants were categorized based on their cognitive style: Field Dependence (FD) and Field Independence (FI). The instrument used was a mathematical problem test to collect data on metacognitive that adapted from Stewart and a cognitive styles test to categorize the cognitive style that adapted from the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT). An interview was conducted to determine the nature of mathematical error based on metacognitive failure. The description of data analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the findings applied the text analysis. The results showed the different metacognitive failures of the two participants. The metacognitive failure of FI student was categorized as metacognitive blindness and the FD student was categorized as metacognitive stagnation, a new condition of metacognitive failure that was found in this study

The removal of mural looking like President Joko Widodo\u27s face with the words 404 Not Found triggered a wide range of reactions from the public, including some on Twitter, who saw the action as an anti-critical form of government. As a result, the hashtag #Jokowi404notfound became a popular topic and was used over 11,000 times on August 14, 2021. The purpose of this study is to look at how people use the hashtag #Jokowi404notfound on Twitter to protest the removal of murals. In August 2021, this study takes a qualitative approach, collecting data in the form of observation of media texts on Twitter\u27s public timeline. According to the findings of this study, the hashtag #Jokowi404notfound was used to protest the government\u27s anti-critical decision to remove murals as a form of suppression of individual freedom. When the public interest is at stake and the movement is mobilized by Twitter activists with large social media followings, the hashtag activism movement has the potential to drive and influence government policy. Messages to the government are also conveyed using various styles of language

Structural equation modeling of internet of things (IoT) adoption for Indonesian Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes)

    No full text
This study seeks to examine the antecedents of Internet of Things (IoT) intention and adoption of Indonesian village-owned enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Desa, BUMDes) by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The respondents comprised 237 managers and staff of BUMDes in Aceh, Indonesia. A questionnaire was designed to examine perceived usefulness of IoT on the product and service empowerment, perceived ease of use of IoT, and perceived credibility on IoT, intention to use the technology, and adoption of IoT to the community empowerment in the village setting. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The generated model of IoT showed three significant direct paths between perceived usefulness, perceived credibility on the IoT, and intention as well as between intention and adoption. The re-specified model of IoT adoption indicated two significant direct paths (perceived usefulness to intention and intention to adoption) and introduced three new paths (direct paths from perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived credibility to adoption). The final model also established partial mediating effects of intention between Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and IoT adoption. This study suggests the relevance of TAM to explain IoT adoption in Indonesian village-owned companies

This article aims to describe the efforts to build religious, honesty, discipline, and student \u27s curiosity characters through HOTS-based online Civics learning. The implementation uses a qualitative approach with the case study method, which is implemented in the Indralaya class Civics learning process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using three stages from Miles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data display and data verification/conclusion. The results show that building religious , honesty, discipline, and student curiosity characters in HOTS-based Civics learning can be pursued even though the implementation is online learning system. This character development is carried out through various activities, starting from planning, implementing student-oriented learning, and comprehensive assessment. However, this does not mean that apart from the four characters, there is no need to develop other characters. It means that other characters are still built but in line with each learning outcomes and each meeting\u27s subject matter

Comics in digital form has many advantages over printed comics. Based on this, the research aims to find out how the impact of the promotion of the National Defense Knight Comics through the Webtoon as an educational medium for preventing and controlling Covid-19 for the community. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Waterfall development model. The results of this review show that promoting comics of state defense knights through webtoons can become a medium of persuasion for education on preventing and overcoming Covid-19. The innovative education offered by the knight Bela Negara comic designs webtoon readers to be closer to the story and characters because it is more humane, so that they are able to show the effects in the form of responses, both cognitive (knowledge development), affective (through positive attitudes) and connective (action as the results of stimulating positive attitudes) related to the prevention and handling of covid-19
