Digital technology in physical education distance learning during pandemic: teachers\u27 perspective
No full textThe aims of study to describe the utilization of information technology and telecommunications in Physical Education (PE) distance learning process during the covid-19 pandemic. This quantitative study conducted with a survey method. The subjects of this study were primary and secondary school PE teachers who were determined based on clusters of three regions/regions, namely: schools in urban, suburban, and rural areas in the Special Region of Yogyakarta with a total of 238 people. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to the primary and secondary school PE teachers online and offline. The data analysis applied is descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results of the study show that PE teachers apply hardware and software that already exist and are popular in Indonesia. PE teachers communicate with their students, especially WhatsApp, Email, Instagram, and Facebook, and also use social media applications in various ways. The utilzation of the Google Classroom as a Learning Management System (LMS) is very dominant
MU-math: educational game to improve students\u27 mathematical reasoning
No full textLearning media are tools utilized to support the interaction of students with educators and learning resources in the implementation of the teaching and learning process. This development research uses the Thiagarajan or 4-D model with four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The subjects of this research were grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Umbulsari. The analytical method is validity analysis based upon validation by two lecturers of the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP University of Jember, and one mathematics teacher from SMP Negeri 1 Umbulsari. Practicality analysis was based on user response questionnaires and interviews, and effectiveness analysis using pretest/pretest and final test/posttest. This study uses the educational Game Mu Math on numbering pattern material to improve students\u27 mathematical reasoning with the help of Unity software. MU Math Game is a PC (Personal Computer) based Game developed using Unity Engine Software and Lego Assets Tools. The MU Math game is an Adventure Open world type where players can explore through the maps provided. There are two levels and one mathematical reasoning to test students\u27 mathematical reasoning abilities
Video project in distance learning during the pandemic: Readiness, processes, and benefits
No full textResearch on video-making on project-based distance learning (VPjDL) was conducted for prospective chemistry teacher students to solve the problem in an educational system due to the Coviv-19 pandemic. In this study, a questionnaire analysis was conducted on the readiness of resources, the learning process and student motivation in distance learning based on video-making projects. In contrast, learning outcomes are measured based on aspects of creative thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the relationship between resource readiness, learning process, and motivation for distance learning based on video-making projects on creative thinking skills. The relationship between resource readiness, learning process and motivation on VPjDL is the novelty of this article. In this study, the number of samples used was 30 students. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson Bivariate correlation. The data analysis results show a relationship between resource readiness, learning process, and motivation to students\u27 creative thinking skills. On the other hand, student creativity is shown by video products with a very high level of originality
Development of Virtual Learning using Problem-Based Learning Models for Vocational Education Students
No full textThis study discusses efforts to improve the implementation of remote learning that is not optimal through the development of Virtual Learning using the Problem-Based Learning Model for vocational education students in the learning process of Electrical Lighting Installation at Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Lubuk Basung, Sumatera Barat Province. The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic demands a rapid change in the implementation of learning from face-to-face learning in the classroom to remote learning. This change requires innovations in implementing learning such as media and learning models to ensure optimal learning implementation even though it is carried out remotely. The 4-D development model (Four-D) is applied in this study as a research product development model consisting of 4 stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used for data collection in the study is a questionnaire for the validity and practicality assessment instrument. The results showed that the virtual learning developed using the Problem-Based Learning Model was valid to be applied in the learning process. After being tested in the learning process, the Virtual Learning developed has been practically used in the learning process to optimize the implementation of learning and improve student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Virtual Learning developed with the Problem-Based Learning Model is valid and practical to use in the learning process to optimize the implementation of electric lighting installation learning for vocational education students
An evaluation of e-learning of entrepreneurship course: Learning alternative during Covid-19 pandemic for university students
No full textThis research was conducted to present recommendations on the implementation of e-learning courses Entrepreneurship during the Covid-19 pandemic. The evaluation refers to model Kirkpatrick\u27s with Level 1: Satisfaction, Level 2: Learning, Level 3: Behavior, and Level 4: Impact. The research used a quantitative method with data analysis using percentage techniques. The sample was 307 students who had attended Entrepreneurship courses using e-learning. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google form. The results show that the evaluation level 1: student satisfaction in learning, on average of 67% and 33% of the other feeling dissatisfied and less able to accept entrepreneurship learning optimally. Level 2 evaluation: learning outcomes, data cognitive, affective, and psychomotor have an average improvement. Evaluation level 3: there was an average improvement of only 18 points on entrepreneurial behavior. Evaluation level 4: 53% of students respond that e-learning is suitable for sustainable use, 59% give the opinion that e-learning is effective in increasing the ability to be an entrepreneurial, and 52% undertake entrepreneurial activities after participating in e-learning. The recommendation of this study\u27s results is to continue learning by using e-learning by paying attention to process factors and combining it with learning, which refers more to implementing entrepreneurial projects to improve psychomotor competence and entrepreneurial behavior in the future
An evaluation of the effectiveness of the English Upgrading program for TOEFL in an Indonesian university using the CIPP model
No full textHuman resources capacity building is a vital part of institutional development, especially in the educational field, such as the university. As an academic language, English skills are highly needed among lecturers to improve the quality of institutions in general. What is the effectiveness of an English preparation course for lecturers in an Indonesian university during the pandemic time? Using Stufflebeam\u27s CIPP model, this study aims to measure the quality and make recommendations on what should be improved or changed from such activity. There were 25 participants, two tutors, and one program coordinator involved as an informant. An online questionnaire was administered, as well as an in-depth interview with the tutors, coordinator, and selected participants. The results show that (1) the context is suitable to the condition, resources, and needs of the institution as well as participants. (2) In the Input section, the curriculum and variations in learning methods need to be further developed. (3) In the process section, the obstacles faced were the lecturer\u27s workload, which should be adjusted during the course to make them focus on the program. (4) In the product section, a high level of satisfaction was found among the participants, with an overall positive review of its merit. There is still room for improvement. One of them is to follow up on participants\u27 progress after the program is ended. An evaluation sheet or survey should be administered after the program is finished to assess the quality of the tutors and participants\u27 satisfaction with the training
Undelivered constitutional justice? Study on how the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia are executed
No full textThe constitutional design of the institution of the Constitutional Court (MK), as the guardian and the sole interpreter of the Constitution, is to ensure and guarantee the supremacy of the Constitution, constitutional compliance, and to bestow constitutional justice for citizens in the practice of Indonesian administration. However, the reality of the Indonesian state administration shows that there is still disobedience or neglect of the judicial review decision produced by the Constitutional Court. This paper aims to analyze how the Constitutional Court\u27s decision is executed and offer the alternatives to overcome non-compliance with the decision or ensure follow-up on the Constitutional Court\u27s decision in the judicial reviews. This research is normative legal research using a statutory approach, comparison, and conceptual approach. This study\u27s results indicate a constitutional evil in the form of neglect or disobedience to the decision. In that context, institutional improvements that can be adopted are needed to strengthen collective adherence to the supremacy of the Constitution. The three alternatives offered by this article are the amendment of the Constitution, the granting of flexibility to the PUU of the Constitutional Court, and the establishment of a Special Directorate at the Ministry of Law and Human Right

This article is library research by exploring the thoughts of Sam Ratulangi through relevant books and sources and looking for their relevance to the precept of Just and Civilized Humanity. The Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou is the most prominent Minahasan culture and animates the lives of the people of North Sulawesi in general and the people of the Tomohon city in particular. The values in the local wisdom of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou are closely related to the fundamental values found in the second principle of Pancasila. The local wisdom of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou and the second precept of Pancasila place human nature at an essential level in life

No full textAdministrative services that often occur are considered low quality due to a lack of human resources, unclear time certainty, and inadequate infrastructure, thus giving a lousy assessment from the community. This is the background behind the formation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 24 of 2006 regarding PTSP (One Stop Integrated Implementation Guidelines) to improve the quality of public services to the community organized by the government. However, the implementation of PTSP has yet to be implemented in all Indonesian government institutions because several institutions still have difficulties and doubts about its effectiveness. This is the author\u27s background to discuss the Effectiveness of One Stop Administration Services for the Community. This study aims to determine whether there is effectiveness and a level of value in providing administrative services for the community through a one-stop line or system in City Y. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques, namely observation, and interview documentation. Moreover, a questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The study results show that the one-stop administrative service is quite effective at 30%. However, it is insignificant in its effectiveness because it still requires adaptation to the system and improvements in various ways. A country can gain knowledge, prepare for the future, and self-actualize its citizens from the competency perspective
