    No full text
In this article, the author compares different definitions of the term blended learning given by foreign and local scientists and gives his interpretation. The article analyzes world scholars\u27 works on blended learning, determining the advantages and disadvantages of this method. The online survey method was used to find out how far Kazakhstani teachers are familiar with the blended learning method, whether they use it or not, and understand if it is effective. The survey results showed that school and university teachers use blended learning in their lessons and will use it in the future. According to the questionnaire, the benefits of this method are that it encourages teachers to be creative, increases students\u27 interest, and helps them to study independently. Significant shortcomings of blended learning are technical problems and poor Internet connection. Also, teachers need more time to prepare for their lessons. It is challenging for them. Although there are disadvantages to blended learning, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, today this method is effective

Evidence-based geology as a basis for improving the efficiency of innovative design of the development of Tengizchevroil oil fields

    No full text
The article\u27s main purpose is to study the method of storing sulfur in solid form in a large block at Tengizshevroil deposits and dispose of sulfur residues. Thus, we have to admit that, in this case, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the innovation at the stage of its development was performed incorrectly, and thus the consumer was misled. As a rule, the production activities of enterprises are planned according to the average parameters that are not known reliably in advance and can change randomly. At the same time, a situation with sharp changes in these indicators is extremely undesirable because this means the threat of loss of control. The smaller the deviation of the indicators from the average expected value, the greater the stability. That is why the statistical method based on mathematical statistics has become the most widespread in assessing investment risk. A more complex mathematical apparatus (regression and correlation analysis, simulation modeling methods) allows for a deeper analysis of the risk and its causes. The discrepancy between modern progressive technical capabilities and archaic expert geological thinking. Unfortunately, when making decisions, geologists often rely solely on personal experience, while the basis of evidence-based geology is experimental research (including statistical experiments), which serves as material for a systematic review, meta-analysis, and the development of practical guidelines (recommendations) based on them. The use of the principles of evidence-based geology involves a combination of individual practical experience and optimal evidence obtained through a systematic analysis of experimental and experimental-methodical studies. The instrumental support of evidence-based geology is modern technologies of statistical data analysis, data mining and artificial intelligence, and analytical platforms to build applied solutions

    No full text
Creativity in performing mathematics proof was assumed to be directed by the procedural fluency. This article examines the procedural fluency in proof based on the students\u27 creative thinking level of mathematics. Subjects were selected pusposively to join the test and interview as the main instruments. Of the 36 students who took the test, 5 students were selected appropriate at each level of creative thinking skills to be followed with interviews.. The data were analyzed following data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal as suggested by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The results showed that very creative, creative, and quite creative students could demonstrate procedural fluency because they could use mathematical induction proof procedures correctly and modify the procedure in the correct rules although less creative students lacked completeness in performing mathematical induction proof procedures. Students of the lower creativity groups had less procedural fluency because they were unlikely to understand the use of mathematical induction proof procedures and found difficulties to apply mathematical induction proof procedures properly or even no attempt was made to modify procedures to solve problems
