    Policy communication in the implementation of the Keluarga Sasaran Jaminan Perlindungan Sosial program in the City of Yogyakarta

    Policy makers and implementers need to consider a good communication strategy as an instrument to support effective policy implementation. This article aims to analyze policy communication in the implementation of Social Security Target Families in Yogyakarta City. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the process of delivering information, clarity of information, and consistency of information have been able to support the successful implementation of the policy. Submission of information to policy implementers has been carried out through regular coordination meetings. Meanwhile, the delivery of information to the target group is carried out through socialization through television media and mass media coverage. The understanding and competence of policy implementers in their duties also supports this process. Clarity of information on policy implementation has been determined in the regulations that guide program implementation. One of them is the use of seven aspects and sixteen parameters in program data collection. In addition, it has also involved the community in the process, although there are still issues of likes and dislikes in data collection. The consistent application of regulations, orders, and information has also made it easier for implementers to apply policies in the field

    Dramaturgy analysis in self-presentation of smokers

    The purpose of this study was to find out how dramaturgy is in the self-presentation of smokers. The research method uses a qualitative with an interpretive approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observations, FGDs, and literature studies. Miles & Huberman interactive model data analysis technique. The results showed that smokers among teenagers almost entirely did dramaturgy where there was a difference in smoking behavior on the front stage and back stage. Smokers apply Goffman\u27s self-presentation, for example on the back stage they smoke, but on the front stage when dealing with teachers/parents/leaders/employers/lover - they do not smoke. The self-presentation of an adult smoker who has fully demonstrated himself as a true smoker places himself on the front stage as well as the back stage, using self-promotional tactics and even exaggeration. However, smokers among teenagers, will make a disclaimer by trying to deny and hide their identity as a smoker if they are at home with their nuclear family, namely father-mother-brother-sister. However, on the back stage, the teen smokers both carried out a self promotion strategy as a technique for presenting themselves by opening themselves up, especially when hanging out with their high-frequency friends

    Body fat levels and its negative correlation to apnea duration

    Apnea ability is the main determining factor of freediving performance. Apnea relates to physiological factors that might be experienced by a free diver hence its ability is highly likely to correlate with various factors of human physiology. One of the suspected factors that affect apnea duration is body fat level. The fact that fat is distributed in almost all parts of the body, including respiratory organs and tracts, arises the suspicion of a possible correlation between fat accumulation and apnea ability. This research studies the correlation between body fat level and apnea duration. 30 males, aged 18-22 were the research participant. Body fat levels were measured using Bioelectrical Impedance Analyzer, while apnea duration was measured by the length of which the participants hold their breath while sitting silently in the pool. The obtained data were then analyzed using a series of tests: normality, correlation, and linear regression tests. Pearson Correlation test shows negative result (p\u3c0,05) with the value of correlation coefficient -0.611 which means negative correlation with medium strength. The result of the linear regression test also shows a similar value of 0.611. Meanwhile, the value of the determinant coefficient (R square) is 0.374 (37.4%). Based on the value obtained, it can be inferred that body fat levels have 37.4% influence on the duration of apnea, while the other 62.2% are influenced by a variety of other factor

    The acquisition of science process skills through entrepreneurial physics education in senior secondary schools

    The need for the acquisition of science process skills is gaining acceptance in secondary school as a crucial preparatory skill for promoting entrepreneurship. The problem of unemployment is a challenge facing many developing nations, with no exception to the developed nations. In the current study, the effect of the acquisition of science process skills through entrepreneurship education on 125 Nigerian senior secondary school students\u27 achievement and retention in “Physics in Technology“ was investigated. The study adopts the randomized pre-test-post-test control group quasi-experimental design. A group of students was taught using science process skills through the entrepreneurship method, while the other group was taught using the conventional lecture method. A researcher-made instrument, Achievement Test in Physics (ATP), was used to collect data for the study. Overall, this investigation reports that students who acquired science process skills through the entrepreneurship method achieved and retained significantly better than those students taught with the conventional method. The results indicate that science process skills acquisition and entrepreneurship education are indispensable towards self-reliance and sustainable development of the nation. Also, students taught science process skills using the entrepreneurship method retained what had been learned better than the other group, and the method did not segregate along student gender. This paper contributes to scholastic by making a case for incorporating entrepreneurship education into the senior secondary school Physics curriculum. This would assist in the production of secondary school students whose creativity, ingenuity, and resourcefulness can assist in reducing the problem of unemployment through the encouragement of entrepreneurship

    Strategies to inculcate moral values in Islamic Elementary School

    This study aims to explore the integration of moral values into learning activities, management, and student guidance activities. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through three techniques, namely in-depth interviews, participant observations, and a document study. The research respondents were principals, teachers, and students until the data was saturated. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. For data analysis, Miles and Huberman\u27s method of interactive qualitative analysis was used, which consists of data condensation, data display, and conclusion/verifying. The data trustworthiness was enhanced through conti-nuous observations and resource and technique triangulations. The results of the study show that the strategy of inculcating moral values at Islamic elementary school can have a positive impact on the moral values of its students. Moral values can be integrated into learning activities through the strategies of reward and punishment, storytelling, spontaneous or direct activities, the setting of good examples and habits, and readings from the Al Qur\u27an. Moral values can be integrated into management through the strategies of Al Qur\u27an recitation, tahfidh or the memorization of the short surah, alma\u27surat, collective dhuhur (noon) and Friday prayers, and organized lunches with dhuha prayers. Moral values may be integrated into student guidance activities on market days, through scouting and other outbound activities, and through mabit, muhayyam, and gardening

    Understanding and quality of minimum competency assessment (AKM) questions made by Integrated Science teachers in junior high schools

    The main problem with implementing the minimum competency assessment (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum or AKM) is the teacher\u27s lack of understanding of AKM. The assessment questions made by the teacher are still limited to testing memory. The level of variation and difficulty of the questions presented is also still low (LOTS), contrary to the government\u27s expectation to improve the quality of learning outcomes which are oriented toward students\u27 higher-order thinking stages (HOTS). This research employed a mixed method. An overview of the teacher\u27s understanding was obtained through questionnaires and interviews, while the description of the quality of the AKM of Integrated Science items made by the teacher was analyzed using the item quality rubric based on Bloom\u27s taxonomy. The data source was obtained from 25 Integrated Science teachers for class VIII of junior high school in Bekasi City. The data were collected through three stages. The first stage employed the Google Form survey to see the demographic map of informants and teachers\u27 initial understanding of AKM. In the second stage, five informants were selected from the results of the survey, representing the data source\u27s characteristics. Then, in the third stage, literature analysis was done to develop rubric criteria for assessing the quality of AKM items. This rubric was used by the research team to assess the quality of AKM items made by an Integrated Science teacher at a junior high school in Bekasi City. Questions that meet the criteria for good questions were collected and entered into the AKM question bank

    Design and Development of Aluminum Frame Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Hexacopter Configuration to Support Heavy Payload

    Previous research has proven that the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can increase the efficiency of human work. However, the design of the usefulness of UAV is considered to be limited. This limitation, for example, is that the UAV\u27s lifting capacity is only capable of lifting 3-5 kilograms of load on average. In addition, the main material of the UAV frame also uses carbon fiber produced by build-up factories abroad, this makes the UAV design less economical. Furthermore, this study discusses the development of the UAV\u27s lifting capacity of 25 kilograms to be able to lift the pesticide liquid load and considers the economic value. The hexacopter type multicopter UAV design was chosen in this study, equipped with 6 main propulsion rotors capable of carrying out its main task of lifting heavy loads, compared to the multicopter type of fewer than 6 rotors. The design is carried out by calculating the lifting force and analyzing the strength structure of the frame material with the help of AutoDesk Inventor software. The final result of the study was that the aluminum-based heavy-lift hexacopter drone was able to support heavy loads, as evidenced by structural analysis simulations resulting in a safety factor value of 1.67 ul, equipped with a 120KV rotor, 23x88 inch propeller, and 6S lipo battery 16,000 mAh, with a total weight of the frame 15kg drone flying for 19 minutes, with an additional 10kg of load the drone can fly for 6 minutes. This research can be developed by adding a nozzle or griper so that it can lift the pesticide spraying tank on a large enough agricultural land

    Human Blood Grup and Rhesus Detection Tool Prototype Design Based On IoT

    Currently, medical practitioners carry out blood type and rhesus examinations by directly observing the agglutination reaction and depending on the examiner\u27s eye. Meanwhile, the effects of eye fatigue and saturation will cause inaccurate data. Therefore, a detection device was made which aims to display information about reading human blood type and rhesus on a digital display which can also store the data into a database. The ABO and rhesus systems were used in this study. This research was made using a real-time method based on the internet of things (IoT). sending data in real-time using WiFi Module ESP-01 and other components such as LCD microcontroller, LDR, LED, battery, and Arduino Uno. based on the results of tool testing, the percentage of success values is 91.67%

    Interactive Procedural Knowledge Learning Resources Development in The Context of Competency-Based Training Instructional Approach and Interactive Media Design Subjects for Information Technology Vocational High School

    Many research has proven the good impact of digital learning resources on the knowledge acquisition by students. However, this research only focuses on factual and conceptual knowledge types. In contrast, the learning process in vocational high schools is dominated by procedural knowledge and practical activities. This research aims to produce a digital handbook appropriate in content, media, and utilization in the learning process of procedural knowledge at an information technology vocational high school. Digital handbook components were arranged based on the context of the Competency-Based Training (CBT) instructional approach and Interactive Media Design subjects. The digital handbook was developed under the Four-D model dan Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning. The content, media, and practicality appraisal were carried out to prove that the digital handbook is appropriate as a digital learning resource. The material, media, and practicality appraisal involves subject matter experts, multimedia learning experts, and potential users. The content validity average score is 97.80%, the media validity score is 95.50%, and the practicality score is 90.00%. Based on these, the digital handbook is declared practical and worth using as an interactive digital learning resource for procedural knowledge, potentially attracting students to hands-on or practical activities and guiding students to learn independently

    The effect of diabetes exercise on the quality of life of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients

    Physical inactivity and obesity are some of the main risk factors for diabetes mellitus (DM). The presence of DM might result in impaired quality of life (QoL). Our study aimed to firstly determine the association between diabetes exercise status and the QoL in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients and secondly to explore other factors associated with QoL among T2DM patients. This was an observational study with cross-sectional design of T2DM patients in dr. Trimurti primary health care (PHC) from January - December 2019. The subjects were recruited consecutively then categorized into treatment group (who performed diabetes exercise program) and control group (who did not perform diabetes exercise program). then observed as in the exercise group (who performed diabetes exercise program) and in the non-exercise group (who did not perform diabetes exercise program). The dependent variable was the QoL and was collected through a modified questionnaire made from 30 questions. The maximum score for QoL was 120 (all 4 on the Likert scale) and the score results were categorized as poor if the score was \u3c 96.5 and good if the score was \u3e 96.5. Meanwhile, other data (comorbidities, exercise status, glycaemic status) were obtained through medical records. A total of 60 adult T2DM patients were recruited, consisting of 30 subjects each in the non-exercise and exercise groups. Male subjects, aged \u3e 65 years, had bachelor\u27s degrees, retired, married, had very high income, had no comorbidities, and exercised independently every week tended to have good QoL. In the exercise group, the majority of subjects (60%) performed diabetes exercise every two weeks and the majority (90%) had random blood glucose levels \u3c 200 mg/dL. The chi-square test revealed a significant associaton between participation in diabetes exercise and QoL in T2DM subjects. Participation in diabetes exercise is associated with good QoL and better glycemic control in T2DM patients
