    Development of Web-Based Project Tender Documents Application Using Extreme Programming Methods

    The application of technology is a need that is in demand in the industrial world today, especially in the field of contractors of goods and services that have implemented the use of applications to help the process of managing data and project documents in their companies. This study aims to optimize the web-based project tender document system using the extreme programming method. The extreme programming method consists of planning, design, coding, testing, and software increment. Research methods using extreme programming methods consisting of planning, design, coding, testing, and software increment. The planning stages obtain results in the form of functional and non-functional application needs. The design stage results in the design of applications using activity diagrams, diagram classes, use case diagrams, and flowcharts. The coding stages obtain results in the form of applications that can be built using web programming languages. The testing stage uses the ISO 9126 standard. Suitability test results are worth 1 (very good), security is not found to have viruses or malicious malware in applications (grade B), reliability is worth 0.99 (good), usability is worth 90.9% (very feasible), efficiency is worth 98% (grade A), maintainability meets the three standard aspects of assessment (good), and portability is worth 1 (very good). The software increment stage obtained results in the form of implementation and application trials on users who have functioned properly. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the development of web-based project tender document applications using extreme programming methods can function properly and be feasible to use

    Scaffolding in guided inquiry learning with google classroom: Effect on physics conceptual understanding

    The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of student\u27s conceptual understanding on the topic of elasticity and Hooke\u27s Law utilizing a scaffolding-based technique guided inquiry facilitated by Google Classroom. The quasi-experimental design method is used in this investigation. This study\u27s design includes all class XI students from one of Bandar Lampung\u27s schools for the 2018/2019 academic year. This study employed systematic random sampling to obtain 30 students in each of the experimental and control groups. The research instrument employed was a concept understanding exam consisting of 20 two-tier diagnostic questions with a reliability level of 0.84 in the high category and suitability. The results of this study show an average value of 58.6 in the control group and 73 in the experimental group. The hypothesis results reveal that the significant value of the t-count t-table with the choice H0 is rejected, and the effect size test results suggest that d = 1.08 where d \u3e 0.8. These findings imply that the experimental class outperforms the control class. As a result, the scaffolding-based guided inquiry technique supported by Google Classroom has the potential to alter students\u27 physics conceptual understanding

    The development of self-healing model with massage therapy and exercise therapy for a wrist injury

    This research aims to produce a model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy for proper and effective wrist injury for the community to cure wrist injury. This research was a development research with stage: preliminary study and data collection, planning, product draft development, expert validation, product testing, revision and evaluation. The subjects of small-scale test were 5 people, subjects were large-scale test and product effectiveness test was 10 people using minimum sample size formula at FIK UNY Physical Therapy Clinic and Masase Terapi Cedera Olahraga Metode Ali Satia Graha. The instruments used to collect data were expert validation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and goniometers to measure range of movement of wrist joints. The results showed that model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy in wrist injury was valid. The results of validation of material experts and media experts were included in the high category. Product quality from small-scale tests and large-scale tests was categorized as high. The results of product effectiveness test showed a significant reduction in pain complaints, increased motion function and increased range of movement (ROM). The conclusion of this study was a model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy valid and effective for a handling wrist injury

    The effect of physical exercise on vital lung capacity in Tapak Suci athletes

    Exercise can have a physiological effect on the body, including the work system of the heart and lungs. The lungs have an important role in human life, where there is an exchange of oxygen with carbon dioxide through the respiratory process. In terms of health, exercise needs to be done by every human being, because exercise can increase the work of the lung muscles, whereas if the lung muscles work well, the ability to accommodate oxygen or the vital capacity of the human lungs also increases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of physical exercise on vital lung capacity. This research method uses a pre-experimental approach with pre and post-test one-group design. The sampling technique of this study used a random sampling of 30 respondents. The instruments used were observation sheets from the examination of vital lung capacity and spirometry. Analysis Research data analysis using the Wilcoxon Rank Test. The results of the Wilcoxon Rank Test statistical test obtained P = 0.000 with a safety level of = 0.05 meaning P value = \u3c . Conclusion It can be concluded that there is a difference in the vital capacity of the lungs before and after participating in the sacred tapak exercise so that this research is expected to be useful for athletics in improving physical fitness, especially by routinely doing sports or physical exercise such as participating in the sacred tapak exercise

    Learning independence and teacher teaching skills: Does it affect learning outcomes when face-to-face learning is limited

    Limited face-to-face learning is a learning policy implemented by schools to prevent coronavirus transmission during the pandemic. Amidstface-to-face learning has become limited, so that it requires students to study more independently from home. Teachers are also required to maximize class time and are also required to be skilled in providing learning outside of student learning hours in class. This study aims to determine (1) the influence of student learning independence on learning outcomes, (2) the influence of teachers\u27 teaching skills on learning outcomes, and (3) the influence of student learning independence and teacher teaching skills during limited face-to-face learning on student learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at SMK throughout Sleman Regency. Respondents were 26 schools with a total of 2209 students. The sample calculation used Slovin with 339 samples. Data collection using questionnaires and tests with the help of google forms. The data obtained were then analyzed with several techniques such as description analysis; normality, homogeneity, multicollinearity tests; and hypothesis tests consisting of simple regression tests and multiple regression tests. The study\u27s results obtained 1.) Learning outcomes were positively and significantly influenced by student learning independence with a value of sig. 0.023 \u3c 0.05; 2.) Learning outcomes are positively and significantly influenced by the teaching skills of teachers with sig grades. 0.000 \u3c 0.05; and 3.) Learning outcomes are also positively and significantly influenced by student learning independence and teacher teaching skills with a value of sig. 0.000 \u3c 0.05

    A lesson learned from the integration of BIM in construction engineering education in an Indonesian Polytechnic

    The Indonesian construction industry has increasingly adopted Building Information Modeling (BIM). One of the barriers to adopting BIM is BIM skills among graduates are still rare. Therefore, higher education institutions have to adopt BIM into their curriculum. However, as BIM is a new concept in construction engineering, many higher education institutions have a problem integrating BIM. Therefore, the paper proffers a syllabus to integrate BIM in a vocational higher education institution. The research methodology follows the Tyler model of curriculum development. It started with a review of prominent BIM integration into higher education research. Then, discussion with BIM practitioners from the industry to acquire information on current BIM-related job specifications in Indonesia. The team teacher then discussed and analyzed the results to create an initial syllabus. Further, the students\u27 performance and feedback are observed during two years of course offering from 2019 to 2021. Improvement of the syllabus is based on observation and feedback results. The progress has increased students\u27 performance in the BIM course. The students\u27 performance is excellent even though the course was offered online due to a pandemic

    Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is established by UNESCO and ILO as education and training beneficial for the community. The community will be able to develop when they can use their leadership skill properly. This is what makes adult vocational education very important in building the nation. One example of the role of adult vocational education is reducing unemployment through a heutagogy approach. The heutagogy approach centered on individual participants, where the individual has full autonomy in creating their learning. The heutagogy approach is also helpful for developing an individual\u27s self-capacity and vocational self-concept. The individual vocational self-concept through the heutagogy approach can help students, graduates, alumni, and the community develop skills (re-skills, up-skills) and prepare to enter the world of work. The skill development can be done by forming (re-establishing) the individual\u27s vocational self-concept. In the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, the role of self-concept with a heutagogy approach in advanced adult education is to build vocational self-concepts so that they can be independent in learning, prepare work skills and utilize technology well as lifelong learning, and make an individual as a digital transformation society. Besides that, the heutagogy approach has a triple-loop learning process that aims to make the right decision on the learning power of vocational self-concept. With the preparation of work skills, the self-concept of vocational maturity means that the higher the self-concept, the higher the maturity in the industrial era 4.0 career and Society 5.0 or with the existence of vocational self-concept in the future can make mature decisions

    The effectiveness of media on distance learning based on Merrill\u27s Taxonomy and CASR 147

    According to Merrill, there are two dimensions of learning objectives: content and performance. For learning to achieve its goals, suitable media is needed. Moreover, the Covid-19 pandemic situation since 2019 requires learning to be distanced. Teachers and students must work together to achieve learning objectives. Several media can support learning, including text formats, audio/video tutorials, interactive multimedia, and simulator software. Especially for Aviation Vocational education which has a learning level guide at CASR 147, further analysis is needed on how these media can effectively achieve learning objectives. So, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of media in distance learning based on Merrill\u27s Taxonomy and CASR 147. Quantitative research methods are used with data from questionnaires and several interviews for data triangulation needs. Based on its effectiveness, the following are suggestions of learning media that can be used: audio/video tutorials, simulators, interactive multimedia, and text formats. Furthermore, it is necessary to conduct research that discusses media preferences based on students\u27 learning styles to know the reasons for the results of media selection by students through questionnaires

    Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis kontekstual yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima langkah pengembangan, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pengembangan bahan ajar ini penting untuk memfasilitas siswa dalam membangun pemahaman dan kebermaknaan dalam belajar matematika yang terjadi ketika siswa memahami keterkaitan antara suatu pengetahuan dengan pengetahuan lain atau dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Pembelajaran kontekstual dilaksanakan dengan strategi REACT yang terdiri atas lima aktivitas produktif, yaitu relating (mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan konteks), experiencing (melakukan eksplorasi untuk menemukan konsep atau pengetahuan), applying (menerapkan pengetahuan yang telah dikonstruksi), cooperating (bekerjasama untuk menyelesaikan masalah), dan transferring (menerapkan pengetahuan pada situasi atau masalah baru). Struktur penyajian bahan ajar ini diawali dengan penyajian konteks atau masalah yang sesuai dengan suatu konsep. Pemahaman dan penyelesaian terhadap masalah tersebut dijadikan dasar untuk membahas konsep-konsep matematis. Bahan ajar juga dilengkapi dengan berbagai soal-soal latihan yang berupa masalah kontekstual untuk memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengaplikasikan konsep. Insrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar kevalidan bahan ajar, angket kepraktisan bahan ajar, angket respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar, dan tes hasil belajar matematika.     Mathematics Model of Inheritance Three Different Traits in Genetics with Matrix Approach

    Mathematical models can solve problems to find out which individuals are superior from crosses in the field of genetics. The matrix form of the mathematical model using the concept of matrix diagonalization can solve these problems. The general definition of matrix diagonalization is with the diagonalized matrix elements obtained from the probability of crossing the average parent and the recessive parent. The mathematical model of a cross between the average parent and recessive parent can be formulated as . The behavior of the solution from the cross is in the form of an explicit equation which can be formulated as . From the calculation results, it is found that in the nth generation, where the limit for n goes to infinity, all offspring from crossing normal parents with offspring with genotypes are normal genotypes. In contrast, all offspring from crossing recessive parents with offspring with genotypes are heterozygous
