The effectiveness of massage therapy combined with stretching toward blood pressure of elderly people with hypertension
The high case of hypertension in the elderly requires curative action. One of the efforts to prevent and treat hypertension is by nonpharmacological methods with massage therapy combined with stretching. This research aimed to discover the effectiveness of massage therapy followed by stretching toward the blood pressure of older people with hypertension. Employing a Quasi Experiment design with one group pretest-posttest, the study involved 25 people who had hypertension With 14 of which were selected using specific criteria. The research used Digital Sphygmomanometer to measure blood pressure. The treatment given to the samples was massage therapy for hypertension with the Ali Satia Graha method for about 20 minutes followed by stretching for about 20 minutes. The data analysis technique of this research was the paired t-test, which aimed to find the significant gap. The research findings showed that the systole value before getting the treatment was 158.36 mmHg, and after getting the treatment, it decreased to 137.93 mmHg (12,90%) with a significance value of 0.000 \u3c 0.05. Diastolic blood pressure before getting the treatment was at 98.07 mmHg, and after getting the treatment, it dropped to 86.79 (11,50) mmHg with a significance value of 0.000 \u3c 0.05. Hence, it could be concluded that Ali Satia Graha massage method with stretching effectively decreased the blood pressure of older people with hypertensio
Implementing web-based e-scaffolding enhances learning (ESEL) at the center of mass conceptual understanding
Many online learning models are alternatives due to the Covid-19 pandemic in synchronous, asynchronous, or mixed-mode. However, resources to support independent student learning in Indonesia were still limited. The focus topic of the study is developing students\u27 understanding of the physics concept of center of mass. A Web-based E-Scaffolding Enhance Learning (ESEL) was identified and implemented. This study used a quasi-experiment, one group, pretest-posttest design. Forty-one students participated in the research. The ESEL model involved four phases: sense-making, process management, articulation, and reflection. Students undertook ESEL-based activity developed for the online asynchronous mode implementation. In addition, synchronous meetings and sharing of learning results using an online platform. Data analysis shows that the web-based ESEL model supported online learning of the center of mass concept, though some improvements are possible. Specifically, learning outcomes increased with a significant value increase between the pre-test and post-test, and a normalized gain score of 0.73 indicated effective learning in high criteria. This research shows that the web-based ESEL approach is an effective self-directed learning tool for online physics classrooms

The experience and substance of aquatic activities learning in elementary schools from the perspective of physical education teachers
The objective of this phenomenological research is to describe the substance of aquatic activities learning based on the experience of elementary school physical education teachers in Yogyakarta City in carrying out aquatic activities learning. Ten elementary school physical education teachers in Yogyakarta City agreed to participate in this study. The research subjects were selected with the snowball sampling technique. A qualitative approach was used in data collection and data analysis. Open interviews were conducted based on the interview guide instrument. Data analysis techniques based on the Miles and Huberman model include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data obtained are the experience of physical education teachers in carrying out aquatic activities learning and the substance of aquatic activities learning for physical education teachers. Every word during the interview was recorded and rewritten for further analysis. The grouping process used Atlas.ti 22 software. The themes that emerge from the analysis consist of: (1) the learning process of aquatic activities; (2) parental support; (3) obstacles to learning aquatic activities; and (4) the substance of aquatic activities learning. The researchers see this phenomenon based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. The teachers\u27 decision to conduct aquatic activities learning does not depend on its substantiality only. However, aquatic activities learning needs the support of parents and schools
