    Algoritme Migrating Birds Optimization dan Algoritme Particle Swarm Optimization: Penyelesaian Masalah Knapsack 0-1

    Permasalahan knapsack merupakan salah satu masalah optimisasi. Masalah knapsack merupakan suatu permasalahan bagaimana memilih objek dari beberapa objek yang akan dimasukkan ke media penyimpanan dengan masing-masing objek memiliki bobot dan total bobot dari objek yang dipilih tidak boleh melebihi kapasitas media penyimpanannya, sehingga diperoleh nilai yang maksimal. Ketika objek yang dimasukkan ke dalam media penyimpanan bersifat harus dimasukkan semua atau tidak sama sekali, permasalahan ini dikenal dengan nama knapsack 0-1. Salah satu metode penyelesaian masalah knapsack 0-1 adalah dengan menggunakan metode meta-heuristic. Terdapat beberapa metode meta-heuristic seperti algoritma migrating birds optimization dan particle swarm optimization. Paper ini membahas bagaimana algoritma migrating birds optimization dan particle swarm optimization digunakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan knapsack 0-1. Kemudian dilakukan perbandingan kinerja kedua algoritma tersebut berdasarkan nilai fungsi tujuan untuk beberapa studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini algoritme migrating birds optimization mempunyai nilai hasil fungsi objektif yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan algoritma particle swarm optimization.Migrating Birds Optimization Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm: Knapsack problem solving 0-1AbstractThe knapsack problem is one of the optimization problems. The knapsack problem is a problem of how to select objects from several objects to be inserted into the storage with each object having a weight and the total weight of the selected object must not exceed the capacity of the storage so that the maximum value is obtained. When objects that are inserted into the storage have the character of having to be included all or nothing, this problem is known as the 0-1 knapsack. One of the methods of solving the 0-1 knapsack problem is by using the meta-heuristic method. There are several meta-heuristic methods such as the migrating birds optimization algorithm and particle swarm optimization. This paper discusses how migrating birds optimization and particle swarm optimization algorithms are used to solve the 0-1 knapsack problem. Then the performance of the two algorithms is compared based on the objective function values for several case studies. Based on the results of this study, the migrating birds optimization algorithm has better objective function values than the particle swarm optimization algorithm

    Kendali Model Prediktif Kokoh pada Model Suhu Rumah Kaca

    Dalam paper ini dibahas mengenai masalah sistem kendali suhu rumah kaca dengan mempertimbangkan variabel gangguan. Masalah kendali suhu rumah kaca ini dimodelkan dengan RMPC (Robust Model Predictive Control). Algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) dan Genetic Algortihm (GA) digunakan untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah RMPC pada sistem suhu rumah kaca yang berupa masalah optimisasi berkendala. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, teknik kendali RMPC mampu mengatur suhu rumah kaca sesuai suhu yang diinginkan dengan gangguan relatif kecil yaitu sebesar 0.09oC. Selain itu, waktu iterasi Algoritma PSO lebih cepat dalam menyelesaikan masalah RMPC pada sistem suhu rumah kaca dibandingkan dengan Algoritma Genetika

    Representasi Matematis Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan PISA Konten Space and Shape ditinjau dari Adversity Quotient

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi matematis siswa berdasarkan Adversity Quotient (AQ) dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA khususnya pada konten space and shape. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 6 siswa kelas IX yang terdiri dari 2 siswa Climber (AQ tinggi), 2 siswa Camper (AQ sedang), dan 2 siswa Quitter (AQ rendah). Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan cara menggolongkan siswa berdasarkan hasil angket ARP. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dari jawaban siswa pada soal PISA konten space and shape dan hasil wawancara. Keabsahan data pada penelitian ini diukur menggunakan triangulasi metode. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa Climber memenuhi ketiga indikator representasi matematis. Siswa Camper juga memenuhi ketiga indikator, namun pada aspek representasi verbal, siswa Camper tidak dapat menjelaskan kembali langkah-langkah penyelesaian secara lisan. Siswa Quitter memenuhi indikator representasi visual (gambar) namun tidak memenuhi representasi simbolik (persamaan atau ekspresi matematis) dan representasi verbal (kata-kata atau teks tertulis). Hal ini mengungkapkan bahwa AQ berpengaruh terhadap representasi matematis siswa. Hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan acuan untuk meningkatkan representasi matematis dan daya juang siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika

    Rapid weight loss (RWL) method on game performance of martial art athletes

    Martial athletes use the rapid weight loss (RWL) method as a strategy to lose weight quickly before competing. This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of the magnitude of the impact of the RWL method used as a way to lose weight by running using a sauna suit on the physical, physiological, psychological, and performance conditions of martial athletes. The population in this study were martial arts athletes throughout Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive method by collecting data through a questionnaire instrument on google Forms which is distributed to martial athletes, especially in the fighting class. The results of the identification through the instrument were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results n this study were 88 martial arts athletes using the weight loss method by running using a sauna suit. The impact that occurred on athletes all experienced more than one impact of RWL on the athlete\u27s physical condition, physiological, psychological, and performance of martial athletes which included athletes experiencing 19% of martial arts athletes experiencing muscle cramps, 26% of athletes\u27 body temperature increasing, 7% increasing heart rate, 1% athletes experience dyspnea, 3% athletes experience injuries, 8% athletes feel irritable/increased temperament, 49% athletes experience increased fatigue, 16% athletes experience decreased performance, 9% athletes experience stress, and 17% athletes feel their sports interest is reduced

    Development of trigonometry module based on PBL that oriented to high school students\u27 concept of understanding

    This study aims to produce a problem-based learning module on trigonometry oriented towards the ability to understand concepts for grade X high school students and to describe the quality of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the module. This is a research and development with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of product development was conducted at the State Senior High School 1 Magelang, involving 36 students from class X MIPA 2. This research resulted in a trigonometry module based on problem-based learning syntax. The module is declared valid with an average assessment of experts\u27 content of 4.24 (valid) and media experts of 4.45 (valid). The module was said to be practical, with the average student response questionnaire result of 3.93 (sufficient), the teacher\u27s response questionnaire of 4.00 (practical), and the percentage of learning implementation of 95.24. With Minimum Completeness Criteria of 70, the module is declared effective with an average score of 80.72 for students\u27 concept understanding, which is high, and the percentage of completeness is 87.88, which is good. Based upon the hypothesis test with a significance level of 0.05, it shows that the average understanding of students\u27 concepts is more than 70

    Strengthening national identity partnerships through community participation in border areas

    This study aimed to investigate the participation of border communities in maintaining national identity in the border areas between Indonesia and Timor Leste. The research approach utilized in this study was a case study, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study focused on border communities in East Kobalima District, Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. The findings revealed that border communities participated in maintaining the spirit of nationalism and national identity in three ways. Firstly, they participated in Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Border Guard Management and capacity building activities for border communities, including the maintenance of national boundary markers such as National Boundary Pillars (PBN) and Border Sign Posts (BSP) along the national border. Additionally, they preserved local culture. Secondly, the community actively participated in flag ceremonies to commemorate the anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia and National Education Day. Thirdly, they participated in preserving the national language in border areas to communicate with fellow Indonesians and citizens of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste (RDTL)

    Merapi Volcano Imaginary an alternative multimedia learning geography in the south region of Merapi volcanism

    This study aims to anticipate the loss of learning for students in the geography education field practice in the southern region of Merapi Volcano during the Covid-19 Pandemic era by developing Android-based interactive learning multimedia as a medium as well as teaching materials. The development uses the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Product feasibility was assessed by six material and media expert lecturers and 10 geography education students as users. The result of the development is an interactive multimedia with flipped book combined with Adobe Flash Maker on Android, with the name Merapi Volcano Imaginary . The contents of the material are geographic physical and socio-economic studies on ten study areas, namely: Tugu Yogyakarta, Lava Breccia, Sambisari Temple, Merapi Museum, Plawangan Hill, Mbah Maridjan Museum, Kaliadem Bunker, Gendol River, Museum of Sisa Hartaku , upper River Section Opak . The experts rated the media and material in the Excellent category. The results are the same by users for aspects: readability, cohesiveness, attractiveness, coloring, material understanding, material order, and metacognitive value. All respondents stated that multimedia was very feasible and effective as a medium and teaching material for field practice of geography education in the southern region of Merapi Volcan

    The adaptive science communication model in the middle of VUCA era in Indonesia: Study of startup Kok Bisa

    This article analyzes the adaptive science communication model in the VUCA era. Previously, the model of science communication developed by scientific institutions and journalists in Indonesia tended to be challenging to understand by the public. Finally, in the development of technology, the model of science communication developed marked by the emergence of various creators who utilize social media. Nevertheless, due to dynamic conditions, the development of science communication models has not been fully adaptive. In previous studies, these conditions due to dynamic challenges due to the lack of public confidence in science and community participation to curate science tend to be slow in the rapid dissemination of information. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies of digital data analysis. This study shows that the science communication model can develop more adaptively during disruptive conditions with innovations in social media from the form of presentation and inviting cooperation with other parties, as well as to conduct transformative strategies by building organizational resilience, developing valid information, restructuring, and conducting experiments following organizational capabilities

    Developing diagnostic test assessment to measure creative thinking skills of Biology preservice teacher students

    The research aims to develop a diagnostic test assessment to measure the creative thinking skills of biology preservice teacher students. This research and development used Thiagarajan\u27s 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination) model. The diagnostic test assessment was developed in the form of an essay test with five numbers of scoring rubrics. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program, University of Sintuwu Maroso. The results of the expert validation of the assessment instrument are high, and the reliability value is high. The results of the test found that all questions were valid and reliable. The student\u27s creative thinking skills obtained an average value of fluency of 75.01% in the high category, flexibility thinking skills of 64.13% in the medium category, originality thinking skills of 69.56% in the medium category, elaboration skills of 75.01% in the high category and evaluation skills of 75.07% in the high category. All students\u27 creative thinking skills are in the moderate category with a score of 71.74%, and the follow-up to the diagnostic results is that the lecturer can provide remedial on several learning indicators that have not been achieved

    The effect of scoring correction and model fit on the estimation of ability parameter and person fit on polytomous item response theory

    Scoring quality has been recognized as one of the important aspects that should be of concern to both test developers and users. This study aimed to investigate the effect of scoring correction and model fit on the estimation of ability parameters and person fit in the polytomous item response theory. The result of 165 students in the Statistics course (SATS4410) test at one of the universities in Indonesia was used to answer the problems in this study. The polytomous data obtained from scoring the test results were analyzed using the Item Response Theory (IRT) approach with the Partial Credit Model (PCM), Graded Response Model (GRM), and Generalized Partial Credit Model (GPCM). The effect of scoring correction and model fit on the estimation of ability and person fit was tested using multivariate analysis. Among the three models used, GRM showed the best fit based on p-value and RSMEA. The results of the analysis also showed that there was no significant effect of scoring correction and model fit on the estimation of the test taker\u27s ability and person fit. From the results of this study, we recommend the importance of evaluating the levels or categories used in scoring student work on a test
