    Organic Waste Crushing Machine Automation in Eco Enzyme Production

    In 2025, Indonesia has launched a zero-waste program. Towards a zero-waste program, of course, the community is given awareness in sorting and processing waste. Waste management is a common problem in urban or rural areas, along with the increase in population and people\u27s lifestyles. Waste problems that are not handled properly can cause environmental problems (pollution of air, soil, and water) and public health. Based on the origin, waste is divided into organic and inorganic waste; organic waste is produced from biological materials that can be degraded by microbes or are biodegradable, or waste from fruit, vegetable, and leaf residues. This organic waste is the majority of the waste generated from households, so it is necessary to think about how to process it that is beneficial and efficient. One of these organic waste processing is processed into Eco enzymes, namely processing organic waste with molasses and water in a ratio of !:3:10. The organic waste processing process is first chopped to become a small part to facilitate the fermentation process. The automation of this chopping machine uses Arduino as a microcontroller, a load cell as a measure of the weight of organic waste, an electric motor as a driving force, a solenoid door lock as a lock for the organic waste load before grinding, and a knife as an organic waste count. The purpose of making this tool is to help chop organic waste in the process of processing eco enzymes. The research results on the automation of this organic waste chopper machine loadcell with a load of 1 Kg runs well; the solenoid door lock can hold organic waste to work well. The research results on the motor for upper milling are given a large torque equipped with a downward knife position and a pillow block so that the motor does not shake

    This paper discusses the evaluation of the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in student industrial internships. Due to the possibility of the risk of work accidents on industrial internship students are prone to occur. Currently, there are still few who discuss the evaluation of OHS implementation as the basis for carrying out sustainable action efforts. Based on the evaluation carried out, the OHS Implementation in Electronics Engineering Education\u27s Student Industrial Internship has been feasible and follows applicable laws and regulations. The results of this evaluation can provide ideas for increasing sustainable action efforts regarding OHS in Student Industrial Internships

    Comparison of Web 2.0 Use on State University Websites in Indonesia and Top World Universities Related to Webometric Ranking

    The present work determines the presence in the web 2.0 that twenty universities had through their educational portals. The universities are selected according to the Webometrics ranking (the ten best located in Indonesia and the best located worldwide) to identify what Web 2.0 tools they use. This study explores the educational portals of the twenty selected universities to determine which Web 2.0 tools they use and variables of the tools found will be assessed. The study only considers those Web 2.0 tools which are linked to the websites of universities. Of the two most used tools, the relevant indicators are quantified from Youtube Subscribers and Views and Twitter tweets following , and followers . Afterward, the results are shown and analyzed to establish possible relationships between the indicators of each tool. The results reflect the heterogeneous and, in many cases, polarized presence that universities had on web 2.0 through their educational portals. We hope that the work will help universities have a verifiable reference instrument to develop their academic communication strategies through these tools on the way to a 2.0 university model

    Manga versus webtoon: Alternative science learning module based on Dr Stone

    Reading activities for junior high school students in Indonesia are carried out at school when the instructor requests that they study the learning topic being taught. Therefore, learners may become bored due to the thickness of the available books. Indonesian students are more likely to read when they encounter visualizations in images, and a small amount of text, commonly referred to as comics. Students like reading numerous popular comics, such as manga and webtoons, but it is exceptionally uncommon to discover a popular comic that teaches the subject of a specific discipline, particularly natural sciences, which has a challenging scientific picture. This study aims to examine the many forms of manga comics and webtoons that may be utilized as alternative student learning modules when students study from home without regard for space or time constraints during the covid-19 epidemic. The descriptive qualitative research approach was applied. Manga comics, particularly Dr Stone\u27s manga, were more acceptable for use as alternative scientific learning modules in junior high schools in terms of completeness of module parts and learning contexts. Comic Dr Stone can boost learners\u27 cognitive and psychomotor skills by vividly seeing daily situations. This research is intended to be expanded by further researchers to give more alternative module alternatives for students and aid teachers in educating Indonesian learners

    A study of physical fitness characteristics of junior wushu players depend on sex difference

    Physical fitness was an activity or exercise that can accelerate regeneration when performing several exercises or training. This study aimed to examine the physical fitness characteristics of male and female junior wushu players, followed by determining physical performance differences between both groups. The analytical observational study method was implemented to conduct this study using a cross-sectional approach Fifty junior wushu players (male: n= 25, height= 147.78 ± 12.96 cm; female: n= 25, height= 147.78 ± 12.60 cm) participated in this study by conducting some physical fitness tests. The results showed significant differences in the indicators of 20-meters running with a P-value of 0.049, backbend with a P-value of 0.000, and vertical jump P-value of 0.021. Meanwhile, there was no significant difference between male and female wushu players in the T-test, push up, sit up, dan sit & reach (P\u3e0,05). From the results, it can be said that male players have higher scores in terms of weight, height, speed, and power, while female players have higher scores in terms of flexibility. This study concluded that it can be taken into consideration to optimize training and testing procedures for junior wushu players

    The effect of low impact aerobic exercise on increasing physical fitness for the elderly

    This study aimed to investigate the effect of low-impact aerobic exercise on increasing physical fitness for the elderly. This one group of pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research recruited elderly subjects from Sumber Waras Elderly Association in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Twenty-four elderly subjects aged 60-70 years old participated in the 16 sessions of aerobic exercise intervention. All subjects completed pre-and post-intervention physical fitness tests comprising the aerobic/cardiovascular (CV) endurance (2 minutes step test), upper body strength (arm curl test), lower body strength (chair stand test), upper body flexibility (back scratch test), core and lower body flexibility (sit and reach test) and balance (8 foot up and go test). Changes in physical fitness (post- versus pre-intervention) of the subjects were analyzed using paired T-test. The normality and homogeneity tests were performed using the Kolmogorov Smirnov and Levene\u27s tests, respectively. Statistical significance was set to p \u3c 0.05. This study showed that all physical fitness components, including aerobic endurance, upper and lower body strength, upper and lower body flexibility, and balance, were increased significantly in the subjects (p \u3c 0.05). The results suggest that low-impact aerobic exercise positively affects physical fitness improvement in the elderly

    Feasibility of audio-visual teaching materials to support tennis learning

    This study aims to produce court tennis audio-visual teaching materials and determine the effectiveness of audio-visual teaching materials to support court tennis learning. This research is development research with stages: needs analysis, data collection, product development, expert validation, product testing, product revision, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were taken using a random sampling method, amounting to 47 people. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaire sheets, expert validation sheets and further tests were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Seeing the effectiveness of the product using an experimental design with the format one group pretest-posttest design , which does not use a comparison class but has used an initial test so that the magnitude of the effect due to the use of the product can be known with certainty. The results showed that the results of the validation of media experts, learning experts material experts were very valid and the validation of evaluation experts was quite valid. The quality of the product from the large-scale test is categorized as high. The results of the product effectiveness test show a significant and efficient increase in learning outcomes and have a fairly high attractiveness in supporting court tennis learning

    Development of modified shotput devices: how are the Orthodox and Obrien styles implemented?

    The development of shotput media is one way that physical education teachers can maximize learning outcomes. The research aims to reveal the development of the results shotput modification tool and the results of the implementation effectiveness modified tool through the orthodox and Obrien styles. This research uses the development of Borg and Gall and effectiveness test research. The modified tool was assessed by material, and media experts and has been tested with the results to be presented in the sub-subexplanation explanation results and discussion. Furthermore, after the results are obtained regarding the appropriate modification tools that can be used, the effectiveness test of the two forces in the shotput is carried out. The research subjects were 30 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Sungailangka Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran Regency. Analysis data was used in this study using the Ancova test which was carried out to see the rest difference in repulsion forces. Then perform the N-Gain Test to determine the effective application of two repulsive forces. The results revealed that the modified tool developed in both learning and effectiveness tests revealed that the developed tool had a significance of 0.00 \u3e 0.05. The average orthodox force n-gain test increased by 0.44 which means that the N-Gain has increased. The results of the O\u27Brien style N-Gain have an average of 0.19 increase in learning outcomes using tool modifications. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the use of tool modifications on the ability to put down and place bullets using Orthodox and O\u27brien styles

    Analysis of critical thinking and communication skills in geometric transformation problem solving using TransGeo application

    The research aims to analyze narratively critical thinking and communication skills using the Android-based TransGeo application on geometry transformation in junior high school. This study uses a qualitative with a descriptive method obtained from tests and interviews. The test contains contextual problems in the android application, while the interviews are based on student test answers. Then, test results are adjusted descriptively by presenting the achievement of each student to be categorized based on critical thinking and communication scoring. Next, one student was randomly selected from each category as the interview subject. The indicator of critical thinking skills is the most difficult to achieve in the fourth indicator. Students are less precise in writing conclusions related to the initial problem; the indicator that many students succeed is the first indicator where students have written what is known and asked in difficulties. The indicator of communication skills is the most difficult to achieve in the second indicator. Students did not describe or write mathematical sentences to present an explanation of the transformation type or final position area in the problem. Many students achieve the first indicator, where they have written what they know and are asked about

    Development of Mathematics E-Book on Pythagorean Theorem Material

    This study aims to determine the response and potential effects of using a mathematics e-book on the Pythagorean theorem material. The method used in the development of this ebook is ADDIE. The research data was obtained through student response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes test The subjects used were 15 grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Mesuji Raya, Kab. Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatra. Based on the results of data analysis, student responses about practicality obtained the criteria of very practical with an average percentage of 86.22%. While the potential influence aspect is stated to have potential influence with an average percentage of 86.66% of the student learning outcomes test. The Pythagorean theorem mathematics e-book is suitable for students to use and can be developed on other materials
