    Realtime Monitoring System of Solar Panel Performance Based on Internet of Things Using Blynk Application

    Renewable energy is one of the options to meet the increasing energy needs. As a tropical country, Indonesia has great potential for solar energy development. At this time, solar panels have been built in places exposed to direct light. However, monitoring solar panels is still performed manually using a multimeter by operators or field officers, so it cannot be performed in real-time. Real-time tracking is carried out to prevent damage and decreased performance of solar panels. Hence, we designed a real-time solar panel monitoring system based Internet of Things (IoT) using the Blynk application on a smartphone. Based on the test between the measuring instrument and the Blynk application, the error percentage is 0.59% for voltage testing, 0.0001% for current testing, 1.03% for power testing, and 2.09% for temperature testing. A strong internet connection will significantly affect the performance of solar panels in real-time. This research is expected to monitor solar panel parameters remotely via a smartphone without having to come to the location and make it easier for users to monitor

    Development of electronic handouts for class X high school ecosystem materials for online learning

    Students\u27 low interest is the most common problem in online learning. As a solution, we need media that is attractive and easy to use. This study aims to (1) develop electronic handouts on the Ecosystem topic for class 10th-grade senior high school for online learning, (2) determine the feasibility of handouts, (3) determine teacher perceptions of handouts, and (4) determine student perceptions after using handouts in learning. This study uses a 4D development model. The subjects of this study were 10th-grade high school students consisting of small groups (6 students) and large groups (26 students). The results of this study indicate that the validity of the material reaches a percentage of 90% in the very good category, the validity of the media reaches a percentage of 95% in the very good category, the teacher\u27s perception results in the percentage of 90.83% in the very good category, the percentage of satisfaction is average. The small group average was 89.72% in the very satisfied category, and the average satisfaction percentage for the large group was 90.12% in the very satisfied category. So it can be concluded that electronic handouts can be used in online learning. This research handout can be used as an alternative learning resource to increase students\u27 interest in learning

    Improving the skills of prospective elementary teachers in designing earth and space science digital teaching materials: TPACK framework

    This study aims to implement an Earth and Space Science lecture program based on the TPACK framework to improve the skills in designing earth and space learning materials prepared for teaching at the elementary school level by integrating pedagogy and technology. The lecture program is structured based on 3 levels of the TPACK framework where at the first level 3 basic competencies are introduced, namely pedagogical knowledge (PK), content knowledge (CK), and technological knowledge (TK). At the next stage, lecture activities are designed by integrating two of the three basic knowledge, namely pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), technology pedagogical knowledge (TPK), and technology content knowledge (TCK). In the last stage, lecture activities were designed to combine the three basic knowledge aspects, namely technology pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK) into a learning video product. The results show an increase in the TPACK competence of prospective teachers in the medium category. In addition, based on an assessment of the resulting digital teaching products, the TPACK framework-based lecture program is able to facilitate the formation of the skills of prospective teachers in making teaching materials in terms of the appearance of the presentation of teaching materials, content management, and the integration of pedagogical strategies and technology in a good category

    Scientific literacy on the topic of light and optical instruments in the innovation of science teaching materials

    This study aims to innovate science teaching materials based on scientific literacy on light and optical instruments. The study used the research and development (R&D) method with the four-D (4D) model. The subjects in the study included three experts and 60 class VIII students with an age range of 13-15 years at the same level. This study collected quantitative data from product validation, questionnaire, and scientific literacy test. The questionnaire and test instrument have been proven valid and reliable based on expert judgment and empirical tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive and empirical statistic tests. The expert judgment proves that science teaching materials score 3.79 of 4 and scientific literacy aspects 3.71 of 4, which is valid. In addition, the teaching materials were also categorized as effective with an overall score (z = -4.731 and p-value = 0.000 \u3c 0.05). In detail, the learning process increases student scientific literacy (p-value = 0.000\u3c0.05). Furthermore, science teaching materials based on scientific literacy could be optimized to improve students\u27 scientific literacy skills sustainably

    The effect of online-based assignment responses and student creativity in PJOK during pandemic in rural and urban area

    Creativity is an ability that must not be lost during a pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of online-based task responses to students\u27 creativity during the pandemic period and the difference is based on students living in rural and urban area. This type of research is a mixed method collected through an online-based assignment response questionnaire instrument, student creativity questionnaire instrument, and interview instruments. The sample of this study was a student of the 2017 physical education, health and recreational education program at Padang State University with a number of 68 students. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive statistical testing and simple linear regression testing. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between online-based task response to 51.5% creativity. Furthermore, online task-based response category is either dominated by students living in urban areas with a percentage of 72.2%. Then review based on student creativity during a pandemic period for students living in urban areas categorized both with a percentage of 84.2% while students who live in ranked are considered less good with a percentage of 54.5%. This research is expected to contribute to the world of education today and can change the perspective of the community or an individual regarding the positive impact of the online assignment given to students in the pandemic period

    The effects of shuttle run and three corner drill on the agility of soccer players in soccer academy

    Football is a game that is played by kicking the ball to get the ball into the opponent\u27s goal. The game of soccer requires speed and agility. This study aims to determine the effects of shuttle runs and three corner drills on agility and to compare the effect of those exercises on the agility of twenty soccer players in the Soccer Academy. This experimental research employed the two groups of pretest-posttest design. The population used is a Kalasan soccer academy player with a total of 20 players. The sample used is the entire population and will be divided into two groups with an ordinal pairing technique. The soccer players\u27 agility was assessed using the Illinois agility test in the pretest and post-test. Shuttle run and three corner drill exercises were carried out 16 times (3 times a week). Based on the results of data analysis, the average pretest score of the shuttle run group is 17.99, while the post-test average score is 16.15. Then, the average scores of the three corner drill groups are 18.08 and 16.32, respectively in the pretest and post-test. The pretest and post-test scores of both groups were compared, and the differences are 1.84 seconds for the shuttle run and 1.76 seconds for the three-corner drill. This study concludes that the shuttle run and three corner drill are both significantly effective in improving agility because those exercises are not significantly different, but the shuttle run works better than the three corner drill in improving agility

    Development of Integrated Project-based (PjBL-T) model to improve work readiness of vocational high school students

    The unemployed from vocational high schools (SMK) is still high. Several factors, including the low job readiness of vocational students and the small availability of jobs, cause the high unemployment rate for vocational schools. This study aims to develop a learning model of Integrated Project Based Learning (PjBL-T) and test the effectiveness of the PjBL-T model in preparing vocational students\u27 job readiness. The design of this study adopted the Richey and Klein model stages. This research was carried out in three stages: model development, internal validation, and external validation. This study used research subjects consisting of 10 vocational teachers, ten industrial practitioners, and 54 Automotive Engineering SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel students. The research objects used were SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel, Jogjakarta Automotive Center (OJC) Auto Service, Barokah Auto Service, Astra Daihatsu Armada, and Gadjah Mada Auto Service. The data collection techniques used were focus group discussions (FGD), questionnaires, and practice assessment sheets. Data were analyzed descriptively. The PjBL-T model is feasible and can be applied according to the learning objectives. The effectiveness of increasing student work readiness tested limited and expanded and improved very well with a score of 3.27

    Improving Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability Through Realistic Mathematics Learning In JHS Students

    Critical thinking is a structured way of thinking in making decisions and solving problems. Because the critical thinking ability in junior high school students is low, realistic mathematics learning is considered to be able to improve students\u27 critical thinking ability. The purpose of the research in this article is to describe the improvement of mathematical critical thinking ability through realistic mathematics learning reviewed from indicators and the averages increase each cycle. This type of research is Class Action Research that is carried out in 2 cycle. The research subjects consisted of mathematics teachers and 16 students of class VIII Muhammadiyah 5 Junior High School Surakarta. The data analysis technique in this study is qualitative descriptive to identify students and teachers during the mathematics learning process. The results of student work, data analysis are done by giving a score on each indicator. Score 1 if correct and score 0 if wrong. The results showed that the application of realistic mathematics learning improving the ability to think critically of mathematics. The average increase in mathematical critical thinking ability is 23.75% in pre-cycle, 71.25% in cycle I, and 85% in cycle II

    Determinant factors of mathematics achievement in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic

    Online learning has become more popular during the Covid-19 pandemic, including in mathematics. However, many educators have raised concerns whether there are critical factors determining the mathematics achievement during online learning. This study examines online learning readiness (OLR), math anxiety (MA), online platforms used in learning (Zoom Meeting and Google Classroom) and gender as determinants of mathematics achievement students in online learning. The participants in this study were 197 students of a private university in Samarinda, Indonesia. Online learning readiness and math anxiety were gathered by means of questionnaires. The questionnaires were deemed valid (\u3e 0.500) and reliable (OLR = 0.903; MA = 0.888) based on Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Cronbach\u27s Alpha respectively. Other variables function as dummy based on the attributes possessed and learning experienced by the participants. The data were analyzed using standard multiple linear regression and multiple linear regression with dummy variables. The results reveal that online learning readiness, math anxiety, online learning platforms and gender had a significant effect on students\u27 mathematics achievement in online learning. In addition, online learning platforms and gender contribute to the difference effect of online learning readiness and math anxiety to mathematics achievement. The results suggest that educators and educational institutions should consider these important aspects to optimize the advantages and effectiveness of online learning

    Developing Pancasila Student Profile instrument for self-assessment

    Character assessment is critical for understanding student progress and determining policies and measures that must be taken to direct and strengthen positive character. This research falls under the category of R & D. The study aimed to create Pancasila character self-assessment questionnaires for students. The approach of generating effective instruments by Mardapi. As a result of the development, 20 items of valid and reliable instruments were obtained. The Aiken formula and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) are used to prove content validity and construct validity, while the alpha Cronbach formula is used to estimate reliability. The coefficient of reliability is 0.71, and the instrument validity index is 0.97. The instrument is accurate and dependable. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) yielded seven components that describe Pancasila\u27s ideals: (1) work ethic, (2) open-minded, (3) initiative, (4) values and culture, (5) resilience, (6) faith, peace, and cooperation, and (7) caring. These seven characteristics are included in the Pancasila student profile. The instrument was used to assess the character of 153 students, and the results revealed that the students\u27 overall attitude matched Pancasila\u27s specified character of excellent and good. However, numerous actions must be completed to strengthen Pancasila\u27s character so that Pancasila\u27s student profile can be fulfilled
