The impact of hexagon drill on the agility of junior men\u27s tennis players
The modern tennis games is characterized by an emphasis on quickness and strength. Rapid and multidirectional changes in the ball\u27s speed necessitate a high level of agility. This study aimed to determine the impact of hexagon drill training on the agility of male junior tennis players. This research is a quantitative type with experimental methods. The research design uses a one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were junior male tennis players in Jawa Tengah with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The characteristics of the sample determined by the researcher were male, athletes under 18 years of age, and practicing in the Jawa Tengah area. The number of samples used in the study was 40 people. Data analysis used the t-test by first carrying out the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the data normality test in this study were 0.06 \u3e 0.05 (0.06 greater than 0.05), which means that the data is normally distributed in the population frequency. The results of the homogeneity test in this study were 0.15 \u3e 0.05 (0.15 greater than 0.05), which means the data is homogeneous. After the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, the researcher continues data processing, namely the t-test. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 so it was less than 0.05 or 0.000 \u3c0.05 so there was a significant effect. The conclusion is that the hexagon drill exercise has an effect on increasing agility in junior men\u27s tennis players in Central Java. Suggestions from researchers are that coaches can apply hexagon drill exercises to train junior tennis players under the age of 18 years

This study examines the level of civic engagement among high school students in preserving local culture during the era of disruption. The research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach and collects data from high school students in Cianjur Regency, Indonesia, using a survey questionnaire. The findings reveal that: (1) the level of civic attitude among students in cultural preservation is sufficient, with a score of 55.12%; and (2) the level of civic behavior, specifically real action taken to preserve local culture, is very low, with a score of 9.22%. This suggests that student involvement in cultural preservation needs to be further developed to safeguard local culture. Therefore, future researchers are advised to devise a Citizenship education learning model that can foster civic engagement among high school students in preserving local culture
A systematic literature review on civic engagement program through citizenship education
Essentially, project-based learning, currently referred to as a method for citizenship education in higher education, is rooted in the concept of civic engagement, which is the most critical determinant of success in transitioning to adult citizenship. Given the limited involvement of the younger generation in public life, which often remains tokenistic and lacks significant impact on change. With their current capacity, young citizens are considered insufficiently equipped to address the challenges of Indonesia\u27s democratic transition, including the dissemination of disinformation and diminishing political efficacy. Giving precedence to civic engagement programs in citizenship education becomes imperative to fortify democracy. Thus, the refinement of concepts and instructional methodologies for citizenship education requires a comprehensive review of scholarly articles. This research attempts to bridge the gap in systematic literature reviews on this subject, which have not thoroughly examined articles addressing civic engagement programming in terms of concepts and methods. The study employs a systematic literature review methodology, using articles published in Scopus-indexed journals over the past decade as primary sources. This systematic literature review effectively underscores the extensive progress in the concepts and methodologies of civic engagement programs within citizenship education, signaling a promising trajectory in this field. Furthermore, the review identifies pivotal areas for future research, including the fine-tuning of assessment models for experiential-based instruction and a critical reevaluation of the role of civics education in heightening citizens\u27 political consciousness
