Developing an instrument for measuring the faith of the students of Islamic senior high school
No full textThe study aims to develop an instrument used to measure faith of the students of Islamic senior high schools. The study was a research and development study consisting of three steps: pre development, development process, and presentation. The quantitative data analysis was to test the validity and reliability of the instrument and to test the model fit through the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using LISREL 8.80 Program. The results of the study show that: (1) the faith instrument of the study is an inventory model of summated rating scale containing 113 items named as Islamic Faith Scale; (2) the instrument validity is considered as the loading factor value (the lowest loading factor value is 0.47 and the highest is 0.89). The instrument reliability regarded as the coefficient of the construct reliability is \u3e 0.7, (the coefficient of reliability construct of tashdiq al-qalb is 0.847, and the coefficient of the construct reliability of amal al-qalb is 0.999); (3) the overall model fit produces a fit model indicated by Chi Square (χ2) = 48.23, df = 64, p-value = 0.929 (p \u3e 0.05), and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.000 (\u3c 0.08)
Developing formative authentic assessment instruments based on learning trajectory for elementary school
No full textThis research aims to (1) develop research formative authentic assessment instruments based on learning trajectory that is eligible for the fourth grade students of elementary schools; and (2) develop formative authentic assessment instruments based on learning trajectory that is effective for the fourth grade students of elementary schools. This developmental study refers to the model developed by Borg & Gall. The developmental design was grouped into four development procedures, consisting of: (a) Exploration, (b) development of the draft/prototype, (c) product testing and revisions, and (d) final validation. The experimental subjects are some pilot project elementary schools which used Curriculum 2013 in Ngawi Regency. The data were collected using interview guides, documentation, assessment sheets of the product instrument of authentic assessment, observation sheets of the students, achievement test, questionnaire responses of teachers and students. The data of the instrument reliability were analyzed in terms of item discrimination and item difficulty, and the agreement index was employed for the reliability of the instrument. The research finding reveals that the research instrument in terms of attitude assessment, assessment of knowledge and skills according to subject-matter experts and experts in evaluation is categorized as \u27very good\u27. The results of the item discrimination analysis show that nonnegative and item difficulties range from easy to hard. The formative authentic assessment instruments are categorized as \u27reliable\u27 by the agreement index of ‰¥ 0.75
Peran dunia usaha dan dunia industri dalam penyelenggaraan smk berbasis kearifan lokal di kota Mataram
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong produk kebijakan pendidikan Pemda Kota Mataram dalam mengembangkan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) implementasi penyelenggaraan kebijakan pendidikan SMK yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK. Informan kunci pada penelitian adalah Kepala Dinas Dikmen sub-bagian kepala seksi kurikulum, Kepala Sekolah, Wakasek Humas Industri, Pembimbing Industri, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong kebijakan Pemda terkait pengembangan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal belum memadai; (2) implementasi kebijakan Pemda, antara lain: (a) monitoring dan evaluasi, (b) menyediakan unit gedung baru, (c) membuka kompetensi keahlian baru, (d) pemberian dana, (e) mengadakan Gebyar SMK se-Kota Mataram; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK antara lain: (a) penyelenggaraan prakerin siswa berjalan dengan baik. b) industri sebagai tempat pemagangan guru, c) industri terlibat dalam uji kompetensi siswa tingkat akhir dan tempat menyalurkan lulusan, d) belum ada kerja sama terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan e) pengembangan kurikulum dalam bentuk workshop kurikulum. Kata kunci: peran DUDI, penyelenggaraan SMK, kearifan lokal THE ROLE OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (VHS) BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM IN THE CITY OF MATARAM Abstract This research aims to know: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the product education policy of the local government in Mataram City for developing vocaational high school (VHS) based on local wisdom; (2) the implementation of VHS education policy with an appropriate local wisdom; and (3) the role of business and industry in developing VHS. The key informants in this research were the Head of Secondary Education Curriculum Sub-section, Principal, Vice Principal of Industry Public Relations, Industry Counsellors, and students. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique included data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the regional government policy related to VHS development based on local wisdom had not been adequate; (2) the implementation of regional government policy were among others: (a) monitoring and evaluation, (b) providing a new building unit, (c) opening new expertise competencies, (d) providing funds, (e) conducting Gebyar SMK in the city of Mataram; and (3) the roles of business and industry in the development of VHS were among others: (a) the implementation of the students\u27 industrial practice ran well, (b) the industry as the place for teachers\u27 apprenticeship, (c) the industry was involved in students\u27 competency test at the end of the students\u27 study and as an institute which would recruit the graduates, d) there had not been any cooperation related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure, and e) curriculum development in the form of a curriculum workshop. Pengembangan isi kurikulum pendidikan teknik alat berat berbasis kebutuhan industri
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui rumusan kompetensi tenaga mekanik alat berat sesuai standar industri; (2) mengetahui kualifikasi tenaga instruktur alat berat yang dibutuhkan industri sesuai standar industri; (3) merumuskan isi kurikulum untuk materi ajar produktif untuk menciptakan tenaga kerja di bidang alat berat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan model pilihan pengembangan kurikulum Task Analysis. Penelitian dilaksanakan di industri yang bergerak di bidang alat berat dan institusi pendidikan perguruan tinggi dan SMK yang bekerja sama dengan industri alat berat yaitu PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia, PT United Tractors Indonesia, dan PT Trakindo Utama. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) kompetensi mekanik alat berat meliputi: menerapkan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, menguasai dasar mekanik alat berat, melaksanakan perawatan dan perbaikan engine, sistem hidrolik, powertrain, sistem vehicle control, serta sistem kelistrikan alat berat minimal pada level capable (di bawah supervisi); (2) kualifikasi tenaga instruktur alat berat meliputi: memiliki kemampuan mekanik alat berat level III, memiliki kemampuan mengelola pelatihan, memiliki pengalaman kerja, serta mendapatkan pelatihan instruktur; (3) isi kurikulum untuk materi ajar produktif mekanik alat berat meliputi: dasar mekanik alat berat dan keselamatan kerja, dasar engine, dasar hidrolik, dasar vehicle control, dasar kelistrikan, materi sistem engine lanjut, sistem hidrolik lanjut, sistem powertrain lanjut, sistem vehicle control lanjut, sistem kelistrikan lanjut, product training, serta electronic machine control.

THE CONTENT CURRICULLUM DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION TECHNIC IN HEAVY EQUIPMENT BASED ON INDUSTRIAL NEEDS
ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) find out the formula of competency for heavy equipment mechanic based on industry needs, (2) determine the qualifications of instructors in heavy equipment which is appropriate to the industry standards, (3) formulate the content of curriculum development for the teaching material. This research is a survey of Task Analysis curriculum development model. The research was conducted in the industry engaging in heavy equipment that has collaboration with educational institutions and vocational colleges the heavy equipment industry wich invole such as, (PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia, PT United Tractors Indonesia, and PT Trakindo Utama). The results showed that: (1) the competence of heavy equipment mechanic include: implementing occupational safety and health, mastering the basic mechanics of heavy equipment, carrying out maintenance and repairing engine, hydraulic system, powertrain, the system of vehicle control, as well as the electrical system of the machine with a minimum level capable (participants under supervision); (2) the qualifications of heavy equipment instructors includes: having the ability of heavy equipment mechanic to level III, having the skill to manage training, work experience, and training instructors; (3) The contents of the curriculum for the teaching material in heavy equipment mechanic include: basic heavy equipment mechanics and safety, the basic engine, hydraulic basic, basic vehicle control, basic electricity; Advance engine system materials, advanced hydraulic system, advanced powertrain systems, vehicle control systems further, advanced electrical systems, product training, as well as electronic machine control.

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, kerjasama,dan tanggungjawab. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran ini menerapkan metode pembelajaran problem based learning. Ppenelitian ini menerapkan metod lesson study model Lewis (2002) dan pelaksanaanya dilakukan dalam 3 kegiatan, yaitu: 1) Perencanaan (plan); 2) Pelaksanaan dan Observasi (do); 3) Refleksi (see). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika dan data diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan perekaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah mahasiswa yang aktif semakin banyak, perkuliahan tidak membosankan karena sebagian besar mahasiswa kelihatan antusias dalam belajar. Bagi dosen juga ada keuntungannya yaitu dapat melakukan kolaborasi dengan teman sejawat dalam upaya untuk memperbaiki pembelajarannya. Melalui pembelajaran dengan lesson study ini selain dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sekaligus juga dapat menumbuhkan karakter kerja mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja. Rancang Bangun Pengukur Laju Detak Jantung Berbasis PLC Mikro
No full textArtikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan rancang bangun pengukur laju detak jantung yang terdiri dari perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Kalibrasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat medis Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor. Alat yang dirancang dibuat menggunakan PLC mikro yang diprogram dengan perangkat lunak LDmicro. Teknologi optik LED inframerah dan fotodioda digunakan untuk mendeteksi aliran darah di dalam kulit jari. Dari hasil pengukuran didapat bahwa alat ini memiliki tingkat kesalahan 0,198%. Nilai ini masih di bawah nilai kesalahan yang masih bisa ditolelir yakni sebesar 0,6745%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat yang dirancang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur laju detak jantung dengan akurasi yang sesuai dengan standar pengukuran yang berlaku
Pengembangan LKS biologi berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS biologi berbasis masalah yang layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan LKS biologi berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menurut model Borg & Gall. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi LKS, angket karakter peduli lingkungan, soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi penilaian produk daur ulang limbah dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS biologi berbasis masalah layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah dilihat dari hasil penilaian pada aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, LKS biologi berbasis masalah efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa.

Developing Problem-Based Biology Worksheet to Improve Problems Solving Skills and Environment Care Character
Abstract
The purposes of this research are to produce a proper problem-based biology worksheet for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling and to know the effectiveness of using the problem-based biology worksheet on the students\u27 problem solving skill and environment care character. This research is research and development model according to Brog and Gall The data were collected through questionnaire of worksheet and environment care character validity, the test of problem solving skills, observation sheet of assessment in waste recycling product and observation sheet of learning process. The results of the research showed that problem-based biology worksheet was appropriate for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling, in terms of the contain, the language, the presentation, and the graphic of the worksheet were included in were good category, problem-based biology worksheet was effective to increase the student problem solving skill and caring environment care character.
