    Komparasi pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan CTL dan problem posing ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan minat belajar matematika

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan CTL dan pendekatan problem posing ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan minat belajar matematika, dan menyelidiki manakah yang lebih efektif antara pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan CTL dan pendekatan problem posing ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan minat belajar matematika siswa SMK. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan rancangan pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Dari populasi yang ada diambil secara acak dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan CTL dan problem posing digunakan analisis one sample t-test pada aspek prestasi dan uji proporsi pada aspek minat. Selanjutnya untuk membandingkan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan CTL dan problem posing, data dianalisis secara multivariat menggunakan uji T2 Hotelling. Jika terdapat perbedaan keefektifan, maka dilakukan uji lanjut t-univariat untuk menentukan variabel tertentu yang berkontribusi terhadap perbedaan secara keseluruhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan CTL efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika; (2) pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan problem posing efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan minat belajar matematika siswa SMK; (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan keefektifan antara pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan CTL dan pendekatan problem posing ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan minat belajar matematika siswa SMK. Kata Kunci: pendekatan CTL, pendekatan problem posing, prestasi belajar, minat belajar matematika A Comparison of Statistics Learning Through CTL and Problem-Posing Approach in Terms of Learning Achievement and Interest in Learning Mathematics Abstract This research aims to describe the effectiveness of statistics learning through the CTL approach and problem posing approach in terms of learning achievement and interest in learning mathematics and to investigate which approach is more effective in learning mathematics for Vocational School students. This research is a quasi-experimental research using the pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. The research population comprised all year XI students of SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. From the population, two classes were randomly selected as the research sample. To test the effectiveness of statistics learning through the CTL and problem-posing approach, one sample t-test was used in the aspect of learning achievement and a proportion test on the aspect of interest in learning. The data were analyzed using the T2Hotelling\u27s test to compare the effectiveness of the CTL approach and problem-posing approach. If differences in effectiveness were found, then further study of t-univariate was done to determine certain variables that contributed to the overall difference. The results show that: (1) statistics learning through the CTL approach is effective in terms of learning achievement; (2) statistics learning through the problem-posing approach is effective in terms of learning achievement and interest in learning mathematics; (3) there is no difference between the effectiveness of teaching using the CTL approach and teaching using the problem-posing approach in terms of learning achievement and interest in learning mathematics among Vocational School students.     Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan self-efficacy siswa SMP negeri di Kabupaten Ciamis

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, self-efficacy siswa dan hubungan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self-efficacy siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 389 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Ciamis yang berasal dari 13 sekolah dengan kategori strata tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan stratified proporsional random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 389 siswa yang dijadikan subjek penelitian memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam kriteria rendah. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan keadaan tersebut diantaranya adalah siswa kurang memahami informasi pada soal, siswa kurang mampu membuat model matematis, dan siswa kurang teliti dalam menyelesiakan soal. Rata-rata self-efficacy siswa berada pada kriteria sedang, yaitu 91,17. Hubungan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan self-efficacy siswa termasuk kategori sangat rendah karena nilai r sebesar 0,104. An Analysis of Mathematics Problem Solving Ability and Self-Efficacy Students of Junior High School in Ciamis Regency Abstract This study aims to describe the mathematics problem-solving ability, self-efficacy of students and the relationship between the problem solving and self-efficacy of the grade VIII students of the junior high school in Ciamis Regency. This study was categorized as survey research. The research subjects were 389 junior high school grade VIII in Ciamis Regency from 13 schools which were categorized as high, moderate and low schools. The research sample was selected by means of the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study are as follows, 389 students as the research subject have low criteria in problem-solving ability. Factors that cause this situation, such as students are less understanding of existing information on the problem, students are less able to make mathematical models, and students are less thorough in problem-solving. The average of students\u27 self-efficacy was at moderate criteria, 91.17. The relationship between problem-solving ability and self-efficacy of students was at very low criteria because of the r-value of 0.104

    This study was aimed at increasing High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of third semester Citizenship Education (CE) students in Social Psychology of Learning course through the application of Six Thinking Hats Method (STH). This research was conducted using the method of classroom action research, which were carried out by two cycles, with the subject of the study were all students of the third semester CE study program class who participated in the course of Educational Psychology. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that through the application of Six Thinking Hats method can increase (HOTS). This was evident from the increase in test scores that have been designed to measure students\u27 critical thinking skills, where achievement test scores in the moments before the implementation of learning using STH method only in the range of 46.0, then after the first cycle increased to 53.9 and at the end of the second cycle increased to 69.8, meaning increased 23.9 points. Furthermore, the observation also showed improvement in the students\u27 ways of thinking, indicated by the students began to be able to think critically after the learning process in the classroom using the STH

    The aim of this classroom action research is to improve students\u27 learning motivation, learning result of PKn on Basic Competence of Describing Indonesian Government System and the Roles of the State Institutions as the Sovereignty Executive and the characters of Grade VIII C Students of Junior High School 1 of Kebumen in Second Semester of Academic Year 2013/2014 by applying CHEERFUL DISCO learning method. The research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles; each cycle of which includes planning, conducting, observation, and reflection. The result of the research shows that the learning method was able to improve the students\u27 learning motivation in learning activities from 62.37% in pre cycle to 73.74% in the first cycle, then from 78.91% in the second cycle, improved the PKn learning achievement in mastering concept of the ability to describe Indonesian Government System and the Roles of the State Institutions as the Sovereignty Executive, which can be seen that the students\u27 achievement test result is improving in average from 78.18 with 54.55% of mastery learning in pre cycle to 83.23 with 72.73% of mastery learning in the first cycle, then it was improved to 86.59 in average with 81.82% of mastery learning in the second cycle

    Tujuan pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk mendapatkan rancang bangun hardware, program perangkat lunak dan unjuk kerja Sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 untuk pembuat kerupuk pelompong guna menunjang proses produksi home Industry Barokah di Tuban Jawa Timur.Pembuatan sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, analisa kebutuhan, blok diagram sistem, perancangan sistem, langkah pembuatan alat, diagram alir program, pengujian alat dan pengambilan data. Pembuatan frame menggunakan besi jenis tabung, siku dan kanal C. Alat ini menggunakan komponen sistem minimum Atmega16, driver motor BTS7960 sebagai pengatur putaran dan kecepatan motor, dongkrak mekanik yang sudah di modifikasi dengan motor DC digunakan sebagai penggerak untuk menekan adonan kerupuk, LCD Displays 16x2 sebagai media penampil yang terdapat perintah kecepatan yang diinginkan, push button berfungsi sebagai pemberi masukan data yang akan diolah pada kontroler ATmega16 lalu akan menggerakan putaran motor DC. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kondisi di home industry Barokah, keunggulan sistem ini cukup 1 orang untuk mencetak (membuat) kerupuk pelompong, dibandingnkan dengan alat tradisional yang ada di home industry Barokah untuk mencetak perlu 2 orang untuk mengerjakan, secara efesiensi waktu sistem tekanan mekanik ini lebih cepat dengan selisih rata-rata 3 menit untuk menyelesaikan cetakan per tabung adonan

    Kebutuhan kompetensi di era digital lebih khusus di era Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) membutuhkan tenaga kerja professional di bidang keahlian Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Salah satu bidang keahlian di SMK adalah bidang keahlian Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pemetaan kompetensi lulusan SMK TIK di Kota Makassar dan peluang kerja lulusan TIK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan mengumpulkan data hasil uji kompetensi. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah kompetensi rekayasa perangkat lunak berada pada kategori sangat tinggi yakni 20.5%, Kategori tinggi pada program keahlian teknologi komputer dan jaringan 52.3%. kategori cukup pada program teknologi komputer dan jaringan 43.1%, kategori rendah paling besar pada program keahlian rekayasa perangkat lunak 26.4%. Peluang kompetensi lulusan dengan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan stakeholder bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi diperoleh bahwa peluang kerja lulusan SMK bidang keahlian TIK di Kota Makassar yaitu di industri lokal sangat tinggi yakni 60 %, di industri nasional adalah kategori sangat tinggi 40 %, di industri international kategori tinggi 80%, Peluang kerja lulusan untuk berwirausaha adalah kategori sangat tinggi 80%, dan peluang siswa untuk studi lanjut S1/D3 adalah dikategorikan sangat tinggi 40

    Developing PBL kit by utilizing blog in order to improve scientific process and problem solving skills in physics learning

    The study aimed at generating PBL-based learning kit product by utilizing blog, at meeting the criteria of learning kit feasibility, at testing the effectiveness of learning kit that the researcher had developed and at identifying the learning participants\u27 scientific process and problem solving skills. In conducting the study, the researcher implemented the 4-D Model. The learning kit development started involved preliminary study, product design, expert and practitioner test, limited experiment and field experiment. The instruments that had been deployed in conducting the study consisted of validation sheet, learning management observation sheet, student response sheet, teacher interview sheet and learning results test. This study generated a product that consisted of lesson plan, teacher\u27s book, student\u27s book, student\u27s working sheet, blog and learning results assessment. The validation results showed that the learning kit that had been developed were feasible for implementation. Then, the experiment results showed that the learning kit that the researcher had developed met the criteria of effectiveness. Based on the pretest and the posttest results that was administered during the field experiment, students\u27 physics learning has increased approximately 17.10 point from the pretest average score, namely 58.20, and from the posttest average score, namely 75.30

    Penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan KPS dan hasil belajar siswa SMP kelas VIII

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing serta untuk mengetahui korelasi KPS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bojong Kabupaten Pekalongan tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain control group pretest posttest. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan observasi. Pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen sedangkan Direct Instruction (DI) diterapkan pada kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan KPS kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,52 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,33. Pada penelitian ini, aspek keterampilan proses sains yang memperoleh hasil optimal adalah aspek observasi, mengukur, melakukan percobaan, dan komunikasi. Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,53 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,38. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kelas eksperimen baik KPS maupun hasil belajar kognitif lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji korelasi pearson menunjukkan bahwa KPS memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan hasil output korelasi pearson r(35)=0,554; . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan KPS dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa serta memberikan pengaruh positif antara KPS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar kognitif Application of Guided Inquiry Learning Model to Improve SPS and Student Learning Outcomes for Junior High School Grade VIII Abstract The aim of this reseach is to improve the Science Prosess Skill (SPS) and to find out the student cognitive learning outcomes by guided inquiry learning models and also to find out the corelation of SPS and student\u27s learning outcomes. The populations of this reseach is 8th grade of SMP Negeri 1 Bojong\u27s students on 2016/2017 school year, in Pekalongan city. The kind of this research is quasy experimental research used control group pretest posttest design. The datas took by test and observation method. Guided inquiry learning was applied in experimental class while direct instruction was applied in control class instead. The results of this research shown 0.52 for experimental class while 0.33 for control class in improvement of SPS. In this research, the aspects of improvement of SPS which got optimal result is observation, measurement, experiment, dan comunications aspect. The improvement of cognitive learning outcomes for experimental class is 0.53 while 0.38 for control class. Based on the results of this research, experimental class got higher point for SPS and cognitive learning outcomes than control class. The result of analisys in pearson corelation shown that SPS gave more positive effect for student cognitive learning outcomes at points r(35)=0.554; p\u3c0.01 for pearson corelation score. From this research can be conclude that applyng the guided inquiry learning models can improve SPS and student cognitive learning outcomes and also give more positive effect of SPS in student cognitive learning outcomes.
