    Analisa Pengujian Repeatability Timbangan Elektronik dengan Metode Syarat Teknis Timbangan Non Otomatis dan Metode NMI Australia

    Testing repeat electronic scales with non-automatic scales technical requirements so far is fairly long if not using a calculator or computer. The aim of this research is to compare the repeatability testing method of electronic scales using methods according to the technical requirements of non-automatic scales and the Australian NMI method, both of which refer to OIML R76 in determining the validity or cancellation of electronic scales repeatability testing. This research method is done through repeat testing on 3 samples of electronic scales, then on each electronic scale 2 test methods are performed. The conclusion is that the electronic scales repeatability testing uses the non-automatic scales technical requirements method and the Australian NMI method has some differences although both refer to OIML R76. These differences include several points, namely the charge used, the method of adding additions, the formula for determining electronic scales, and different test results. The Australian NMI method is deemed to make it easier and more time efficient compared to the non-automatic weighing technical requirements method

    Materi kimia kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan (Ksp) merupakan salah satu materi yang sulit sehingga dibutuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Inovasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Constructive Controversy (CC) dan inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan representasi tetrahedral kimia terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ksp; (2) pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ksp; (3) interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran CC dan inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan representasi tetrahedral kimia dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ksp. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tidak ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CC dan inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan representasi tetrahedral kimia terhadap prestasi belajar aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan pada materi Ksp; (2) ada pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan tetapi tidak ada pengaruh terhadap aspek sikap dan keterampilan pada materi Ksp; (3) tidak ada interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran CC dan inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan representasi tetrahedral kimia dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan pada materi Ksp. Constructive controversy and guided inquiry corresponding to the tetrahedral representation chemistry learning viewed from critical thinking ability Abstract Chemical subject of solubility and solubility product constant (Ksp) is one of the materials that is difficult so it needs critical thinking ability. Learning innovation to improve critical thinking skill is very important. This research aimed to determine: (1) the influence of implementing Constructive Controversy (CC) and guided inquiry learning model based on chemical tetrahedral representation towards students achievement on Ksp subject matter; (2) the influence of the student\u27s critical thinking ability towards students achievement on Ksp subject matter; and (3) the interaction between implementing CC and guided inquiry learning model based on chemical tetrahedral representation with critical thinking ability towards students achievement on Ksp subject matter. This research was quasi experiment research with factorial design of 2x2. The results show that: (1) there is no influence of implementing CC and guided inquiry learning model based on chemical tetrahedral representation towards students achievement of cognitive, affective, and phycomotor aspect on Ksp subject matter; (2) there is an influence of the student\u27s critical thinking ability towards student\u27s achievement of cognitive aspect while there is no influence of critical thinking ability toward student\u27s achievement of affective and phycomotor aspect on Ksp subject matter; (3) there is no interaction between implementing CC and guided inquirylearning model based on chemical tetrahedral representation with critical thinking ability towards students achievement of cognitive, affective, and phycomotor aspect on Ksp subject matter

    Research trends of scientific literacy in Indonesia: Where are we?

    Scientific literacy has become a trend of research in various international research journals. These research trends also influence research trends in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze research related to scientific literacy in Indonesia based on articles published in various national journals. The analysis was conducted in term of methodological approach used and the subjects studied. The analysis was conducted on 138 articles published in various national journals, whether they have been indexed by SCOPUS, DOAJ or other journal indexing agencies. The findings indicate that the application of learning to increase student\u27s scientific literacy is new research trend in Indonesia and commonly conducted in science major (IPA) with Junior High School students as samples. This study provides an overview of perspectives in scientific literacy research in Indonesia

    Mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan game ritual tumpe

    Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan produk berupa Game ritual tumpe untuk peserta didik SMP Kelas VII. Penelitian menggunakan metode research and developement (R & D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Penelitian mengacu pada model 4D: define (mendefinisikan), design (mendesain), develop (mengembangkan) dan disseminate (menyebarluaskan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid atau memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Kategori kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli media dan juga guru adalah sangat valid. Implementasi media pembelajaran di dalam kelas dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen, menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Gain score yang diperoleh pada saat pretest dan posttes pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai gain score kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0,67 dan kelas kontrol 0,54 dengan kategori sedang. Efektivitas pembelajaran dilakukan dengan uji Manova dengan perolehan nilai sig. sebesar 0.000 (\u3c0.05). Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sains di kelas VII SMP. Develop critical thinking skills with tumpe ritual games Abstract The aim of this study was to develop product in the form of a Tumpe Ritual Game for Class VII junior high school students. The research used the research and developement (R & D) method developed by Thiagarajan. The research refers to the 4D model: define, design, develop and disseminate. The result of the study indicates that learning media developed is valid or meet the eligibility criteria. The feasibility category obtained from media experts and also the teacher is highly valid. The implementation of learning media in the classroom can increase students\u27 active participation so that it has an impact on improving critical thinking skill. This type of research uses quasi-experimental, using the control class and the experimental class. Gain scores obtained at the pre-test and post-test in the experimental class showed significant differences. The gain score of experimental class was 0.67 and the control class was 0.54 with the medium category. The effectiveness of learning was done by Manova test with the acquisition of sig values. amounting to 0,000 (\u3c0.05). These condition indicated that the media developed was valid, practical and effective to be used in the process of learning science in class VII SMP

    Validitas dan efektivitas prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design, dengan sampel 25 peserta didik program studi pendidikan fisika FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi untuk mengukur validitas produk, dan tes berbentuk essay yang mengukur efektivitas produk untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Data dan analisis yang digunakan yaitu: (1) validitas produk dilakukan oleh 2 (dua) ahli yang berkompeten dan dianalisis secara deskriptif, dan (2) efektivitas produk diukur setelah pembelajaran dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persamaan n-gain, dan secara statistik dengan paired samples test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving valid (3,38) dan reliabel (0,97), sedangkan pengetahuan metakognisi meliputi pengetahuan deklaratif (n-gain = 0,58), pengetahuan prosedural (n-gain = 0,53), dan pengetahuan kondisional (n-gain = 0,56) dinyatakan meningkat setelah pembelajaran dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving berpengaruh signifikan (p \u3c 0,05) terhadap pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Validity and effectiveness of reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving to improve metacognition knowledge Abstract This study aimed at producing a valid and effective reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving in order to improve students\u27 metacognitive knowledge at university level. The design was quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design, which involved 25 students of FPMIPA, IKIP Mataram. Instruments of the study were a validation sheet to measure product validity and an essay test to measure effectiveness of the product in attempt to improve students\u27 metacognitive knowledge. Data and its analysis were conducted through: (1) two experts\u27 descriptive judgements on the validity of the text book and (2) descriptive analysis on product effectiveness analyzed after learning session by using n-gain equation and statistical analysis using paired sample test. Results show that the text book prototype was valid (3,38) and reliable (0,97), while metacognitive knowledge that covered declarative knowledge (n-gain= 0,58), procedural knowledge (n-gain= 0,53), and conditional knowledge (n-gain= 0,56) were found improved at medium level after learning conducted. Statistical test result shows that the text book protype had significant effect (p\u3c0,05) towards students\u27 metacognitive knowledge. Therefore, the reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving was found valid and effective in improving students\u27 metacognitive knowledge at university level

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Reciprocal Teaching terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang ditinjau dari self-efficacy siswa kelas VIII di SMP PGRI 11 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII.1 yang diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran menggunakan model Reciprocal Teaching dan kelas VII.2 yang diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan posttest untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan angket untuk mengukur self-efficacy siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah ANOVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara kelas yang mendapat perlakuan berupa model Reciprocal Teaching dan kelas dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-efficacy siswa, namun tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara pembelajaran dan self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII di SMP PGRI 11 Palembang. The effect of reciprocal teaching on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of students\u27 self-efficacy Abstract This research aimed to describe the effect of the Reciprocal Teaching model on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of the self-efficacy of seventh-grade students at SMP PGRI 11 Palembang, Indonesia. This research used an experimental method with a population was all seventh-grade students. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research sample was class VII.1 which was treated in the form of learning using the Reciprocal Teaching model and class VII.2 which was treated in the form of expository learning. The data collection techniques used were a posttest to measure students\u27 mathematical problem-solving abilities and questionnaires to measure students\u27 self-efficacy. The data analysis technique used was two-way ANOVA at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05). The results showed that there was a significant difference in students\u27 mathematical problem-solving abilities between the class that was treated in the form of Reciprocal Teaching models and class with conventional learning. There was a significant difference in students\u27 mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of students\u27 self-efficacy, but there was no effect of interaction between learning and self-efficacy on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of seventh-grade students at SMP PGRI 11 Palembang

    Literasi statistika merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki setiap orang guna menghadapi era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Di jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah, materi atau kajian mengenai statistika diberikan sebagai bagian dari mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana muatan literasi statistika didukung oleh mata pelajaran Matematika dari tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), hingga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) secara konkret melalui buku teks pelajaran yang digunakan. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis isi terhadap dokumen Kompetensi Dasar mata pelajaran matematika sesuai Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2016 serta buku-buku pelajaran matematika yang mengacu pada Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2016 khususnya yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar kompetensi literasi statistika telah termuat dalam buku teks matematika Kurikulum 2013 pada jenjang SD, SMP, dan SMA. Beberapa perubahan masih dapat dilakukan guna meningkatkan keluasan dan kedalaman literasi statistika. Analysis of statistical literacy content in Curriculum 2013 mathematics textbook Abstract Statistical literacy was one of the competencies that must be mastered by everyone to face the 4.0 Industrial Revolution era. At the level of primary and secondary education, statistics was studied as a part of the mathematics subject. In this research. We examine the extent to which statistical Literacy contents were supported by Mathematics subjects from the Elementary School (SD) level, Junior High School (SMP) level, to the Senior High School (SMA) level. This research focused on the textbooks used in the learning process. The data were collected by analyzing the contents of the mathematics curriculum document (following the Curriculum 2013 Revision Edition of 2016) as well as mathematics textbooks referring to the Curriculum 2013 Revision Edition of 2016 especially books published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on this research, it is known that the majority of statistical literacy competencies have been supported by the Curriculum 2013 mathematics textbook at SD, SMP, and SMA level. Some improvements could still be made to increase the breadth and depth of statistical literacy

    Creative thinking ability and cognitive knowledge: Big Five personality

    This research aims at describing the ability and level of student\u27s creative thinking and student\u27s cognitive knowledge. It is qualitative research to search for data and information. Operationally, this research was conducted with some steps namely: (1) giving a set of big five personality test to 215 students to determine their personality type, (2) giving a set of creative thinking test of 215 students to measure the ability and level of their creative thinking, and (3) choosing one student randomly from each student\u27s personality type to be interviewed to search their cognitive knowledge. The results show that every student has a creative thinking ability, but the level of creative thinking varies. The category of student\u27s creative thinking ability based on Big Five Personalities is \u27moderate or high\u27. The level of student\u27s creative thinking based on the big five personality is \u27very creative, creative, quite creative or less creative\u27. The student\u27s cognitive knowledge based on the big five personality is drawing, designing, ascertaining, dividing, reasoning, analogy, imagining, utilizing, solving, understanding, determining, mentioning, and using trial and error

    Parallel tests viewed from the arrangement of item numbers and alternative answers

    This research aims to prove that a parallel test can be constructed by randomizing the test item numbers and or alternative answers\u27 order. This study used the experimental method with a post-test only non-equivalent control group design, involving junior high schools students in Yogyakarta City with a sample of 320 students of State Junior High School (SMPN) 5 Yogyakarta and 320 students of SMPN 8 Yogyakarta established using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used is a mathematics test in the form of an objective test consisting of a five-question package and each package contains 40 items with four alternatives. The test package is randomized in the item numbers\u27 order from the smallest to the largest and vice versa. The options in each item are also randomized from A to D and vice versa. Each item is analyzed using the Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory approaches, while data analysis is done using the discrimination index with Kruskal-Wallis test technique to see the differences among the five-question packages. The study reveals that the result of item analysis using the Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory approaches shows no significant difference in the difficulty index among Package 1 until Package 5. Nevertheless, according to the Classical Test Theory, there is a category shift of the difficulty index of Package 2 until Package 5 when compared to Package 1 - the original package - which is, in general, not a good package, because it contains too easy items

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua, perilaku guru, dan motivasi belajar baik terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, Indonesia, tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 121 siswa ditentukan menggunakan simple random sampling technique. Pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen hasil belajar matematika siswa dan angket yang telah dibuktikan validitas serta diestimasi reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan masing-masing variabel yaitu keterlibatan orang tua, perilaku guru, motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta; dan (2) secara bersamaan (simultan) variabel keterlibatan orang tua, perilaku guru, dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. The effect of parental involvement, teacher behavior and learning motivation on students\u27 mathematics achievement Abstract This research aimed to describe the effect of parental involvement, teacher behavior, learning motivation on students\u27 mathematics achievement in grade X of Junior High School. This research was ex post facto research. The population was grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, Indonesia in the 2016/2017 academic year. The sample of 121 students was established using the simple random sampling technique. The data were collected through documents study of students\u27 mathematics achievement results and using a questionnaire that had been proven its validity and estimated its reliability. The data analysis technique used is linear and multiple regression. The research finding shows that (1) there is a positive and significant effect of each variable namely parental involvement, teacher behavior, learning motivation on mathematics achievement of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta; and (2) parental involvement, teacher behavior, and learning motivation simultaneously provide a positive and significant effect on mathematics achievement of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta
