Sistem Kendali dan Akuisisi Data Suhu Serta Kelembaban Ruang Budidaya Jamur Tiram (Pleurotus Ostreatus) Berbasis Internet Of Things (IOT)
This study aims to determine the performance of temperature and humidity control technology of the Internet of Things (IoT) automatic oyster mushroom cultivation space. The stages of device development consist of analysis, design, assembly and testing. The design developed combines hardware control, software, and cloud server. This tool consists of 3 main processes, namely input using DHT11 sensors, process and output, namely 220 V AC actuators. There are two tests namely technical and effectiveness. The test results that have been carried out are: (1) the performance test results obtained an average error of 1.44% and a mean humidity of 3.35%, so that it can be used properly in the process of oyster mushroom cultivation; (2) the actuator will turn on if the temperature is more than 28oC or the humidity is less than 70%. The results of the transmission and storage of hardware data to the software on the database function properly, testing the effectiveness which shows the tools developed are more effective 5 hours compared to the manual method, (3) The advantages of this tool are that it can work automatically with IoT technology, there is realtime data recording, and features that are easy to use, so that it can help farmers in the care of oyster mushrooms
Perancangan Sistem Pemantauan Suhu dan Kelembaban pada Proses Dekomposisi Pupuk Kompos berbasis IoT
The problem that often occurs in making compost is the level of fertilizer maturity that is not perfect. This is caused by humidity and temperature in the unstable manufacturing process. This article aims to develop a system capable of controlling temperature and humidity as well as monitor changes in the process of compost decomposition wirelessly and describe the results of testing the system. This research uses a development method with several stages, namely: problem identification and needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results show that: (1) a temperature and humidity monitoring system is realized to monitor and regulate the process of making IoT-based compost by utilizing DHT-22 sensor input as a temperature and humidity detector and sensor to detect the pH content of compost processed using Wemos D1 mini. Output data that has been obtained will be sent to the Android smartphone application and in the form of a relay that will activate the heater and cooler as a temperature stabilizer; and (2) the test results show that performance is appropriate, which by manual means has the advantages of: (a) more efficient 2 to 4 weeks; and (b) has automatic and manual control
Prototype Autonomous Rover Pembersih Sampah Pantai menggunakan ArduPilot
Indonesia has the second longest coastline in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia is the second largest contributor to marine waste in the world. Coastal cleanliness needs to be maintained so that it becomes an attraction for tourism and to protect the marine ecosystem. This article describes the results of testing devices that can be used to clean beaches. Research carried out by the development method. An autonomous beach garbage cleaning rover is a beach trash sweeper robot equipped with GPS, compass, telemetry, ArduPilot as a navigation and communication system when the robot operates. This robot moves using 2 DC motors with torque of ± 4 kg. The robot is also equipped with a conveyor that functions to sweep plastic debris on the beach. The test results show that the robot can go according to the specified path, according to the coordinates entered (100% accuracy) and be able to transport plastic waste. This is because the motor used has a small torque, so it is not able to lift large objects. The next robot development can be done in terms of: identifying the capacity of robots to accommodate various types of waste, testing the ability of robots to clean waste, the use of solar cells, and trajectory management systems
The effect of critical thinking on students\u27 accounting competency in vocational high school
The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the effect of critical thinking skills on students\u27 learning competency in accounting subjects at vocational high school in Surakarta. The indicators of critical thinking ability used in this study referred to the theory developed by Ennis, while the accounting competency indicators used referred to Bloom\u27s taxonomy. This research was experimental quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of grade X accounting at SMK 1 Surakarta totaling 96 students. The sample of this study was class X AC (Accounting) 2 as the experimental class and X AC 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random sampling. The data analysis technique used in the study was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with pre-requisite tests that had to be done before, namely normality and homogeneity tests. This study concluded that there are differences in the influence of critical thinking skills on students\u27 competency in accounting learning
Kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa melalui model berpikir induktif dengan metode probing-prompting learning
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa sesudah mengikuti perkuliahan yang menerapkan model berpikir induktif dengan metode probing-prompting learning pada materi subgrup. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 38 mahasiswa angkatan 2016/2017 Prodi Pendidikan Matematika UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes kemampuan argumentasi. Kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa diidentifikasi berdasarkan komponen argumentasi McNeill dan Krajcik yang terdiri dari claim, evidence, reasoning, dan rebuttal. Peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa dianalisis dengan statistik non parametrik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank pada taraf signifikan 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa setelah perlakuan lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum perlakuan dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan (Z = -7,397, p = 0,000) kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model berpikir induktif dengan metode probing-prompting learning pada materi subgrup. Dengan demikian, penerapan model berpikir induktif dengan metode probing-prompting learning pada materi subgrup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa.
Students\u27 argumentation ability through inductive thinking model with the probing-prompting learning method
Abstract
This study aimed to describe an increase in students\u27 argumentative abilities after attending lectures that apply inductive thinking models with probing-prompting learning methods in subgroup material. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The study sample was 38 students of Mathematics Education Department of State Islamic University Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Indonesia. The instrument used was the argumentation ability test sheet. The student\u27s argumentation ability was identified based on McNeill and Krajcik\u27s argumentation component consisting of claims, evidence, reasoning, and rebuttal. Improved student argumentation skills were analyzed by non-parametric statistics using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test. The results of data analysis showed that the students\u27 argumentation ability after treatment was better than before treatment and there was a significant difference (Z = -7,397, p = 0,000) the ability of students\u27 argumentation before and after the inductive thinking model with the probing-prompting learning method was applied in the subgroup material. Thus, the implementation of inductive thinking models with probing-prompting learning methods in subgroup material was effective for improving students\u27 argumentation abilities
Problem-based learning dalam pembelajaran matematika: Upaya guru untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan Problem-based learning (PBL). Penelitian tindakan ini dilaksanakan dengan empat tahapan (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi), mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Sebanyak 26 siswa kelas VII.B SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta dijadikan sebagai subyek penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data terdiri dari angket, lembar observasi, dan tes. Data minat dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dianalisis secara kualitatif, sedangkan data prestasi belajar dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat, serta prestasi belajar matematika yang tinggi dari kondisi awal siswa. Beberapa kesimpulan yang diperoleh antara lain sebagai berikut. Pertama, PBL telah meningkatkan minat belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa di kelas VII.B SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, setelah dilakukan tindakan sebanyak dua siklus. Kedua, peningkatan minat belajar siswa disebabkan karena kedudukan siswa dalam PBL tidak lagi bersifat pasif. Ketiga, hadirnya berbagai masalah-masalah matematika yang dekat dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, membuat konsep matematika yang abstrak lebih mudah dipahami sehingga tidak hanya minat, tetapi prestasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Keempat, keberhasilan pelaksanaan PBL sangat ditentukan oleh konsistensi guru dalam melaksanakan perannya sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran. Sejumlah faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan penelitian juga dibahas dalam artikel.
Problem-based learning in mathematics learning: Teacher\u27s efforts to increase students\u27 learning interest and achievement
Abstract
This classroom action research aims to increase learning interest and mathematics learning achievement of students by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This action research conduct in four stages (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection) as the Kemmis dan Mc Taggart model suggests. A total of 26 students in class VII.B in SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, were involved in this action research. The instruments used in data collection consisted of a questionnaire, observation sheet, and test. Data on learning interest and implementation of learning are analyzed qualitatively, while data on learning achievement are analyzed quantitatively. The results of the analysis showed an increase in interest, as well as high mathematics learning achievement from the initial conditions. Some conclusions obtained as follows. First, PBL has increased the learning interest and achievement of students in class VII.B of Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, after taking two cycles of action. Second, the increase in students\u27 interest in learning is due to the position of students in the PBL that is no longer passive. Third, the presence of various mathematical problems that are close to the context of the daily life of students makes the abstract mathematical concepts more easily understood so that not only interest but student achievement also increases. Fourth, the success of implementing PBL is largely determined by the consistency of the teacher in carrying out his role as a facilitator of learning. Analisis kemampuan kognitif matematika berdasarkan task commitment siswa kelas khusus olahraga sekolah menengah atas
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan kognitif matematika, task commitment, dan hubungan antara kemampuan kognitif matematika dan task commitment siswa Kelas Khusus Olahraga (KKO) SMA negeri se-DIY. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa KKO kelas X SMA negeri se-DIY yang berjumlah 319 siswa. Sampel sejumlah 132 siswa yang terbagi dalam 8 sekolah penyelenggara kelas KKO se-DIY ditentukan dengan teknik sampel acak proporsional sistematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kognitif matematika siswa KKO SMA negeri se-DIY dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 40,62 dari nilai tertinggi ideal 100, task commitment siswa KKO SMA negeri se-DIY dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 95,63 dari nilai tertinggi ideal 150, dan terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara kemampuan kognitif matematika dan task commitment siswa KKO SMA negeri se-DIY. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien kontingensi = 0,328 yang berada pada interval 0,30-0,59 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,05.
An analysis of mathematical cognitive abilities based on task commitment of senior high school athlete students
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical cognitive abilities, the task commitment, and the relationship between mathematical cognitive abilities and task commitment of athlete students in Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. This study was survey research. The population of this study was 319 grade X athlete students of senior high school. A sample of 132 students were established using the systematical proportional random sampling technique. The results of this study showed that the mathematical cognitive abilities of athlete students in Special Region of Yogyakarta was in the medium category with the mean score 40.62 from the ideal score of 100, the task commitment of athlete students in Special Region of Yogyakarta was in the medium category with the mean score 95.63 from the ideal value 150, and there was a moderate association between mathematical cognitive abilities and task commitment of athlete students in Special Region of Yogyakarta. It could be seen by the value of contingency coefficient = 0.328 which was in interval 0.30 to 0.59 and a significance value of 0.05
Pembinaan karakter anak pada masyarakat perumahan di pinggiran kota
Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pembinaan karakter dan hambatan penyertaannya dilihat dari teori role taking pada masyarakat Griya Kota Tulungagung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Proses pembinaan karakter dan moral anak pada tahap persiapan awal dilakukan dengan mengenalkan nilai-nilai agama sejak dini. Media yang digunakan bisa audio maupun visual dengan konten religious. Detail tahap perkembangan dan kebutuhan kesehatan anak untuk kesiapan membangun karakter sangat diperhatikan. Pada tahap play stage lebih selektif dalam memilih tayangan media dan juga teman bermain bagi anak. Sementara di tahap gama stage, berupaya memberikan contoh baik terhadap anak dengan ucapan dan perilaku keseharian mereka serta menambah intensitas pengawasan meskipun tidak secara langsung untuk memastikan perkembangan anak. Pada tahap generalized others para orang tua lebih memberikan kepercayaan pada anak untuk mengembangkan kecakapan dengan dukungan fasilitas dan doa. Minimalisasi hambatan dibangun melalui komunikasi yang baik pada semua pihak dengan mengedepankan keguyuban warga melalui berbagai media, sekaligus menjadi teladan yang inspiratif.

This study aims to explain the character building and the obstacles of viewers seen from the role-taking theory in the community Griya Kota Tulungagung. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study type. The results showed the process of fostering the character and morals of children in the early preparation stage is done by introducing religious values from an early age. The media used can be both audio and visual with religious content. Detailed stages of development and the health needs of children for the readiness to build character is noticed. In the play stage more selective in choosing media impressions and also playmates for children. While in the game stage, trying to provide good examples of children with their daily sayings and behaviors and increase the intensity of supervision, although not directly to ensure the development of children. At the stage of generalized others, the parents are more confident in the child to develop skills with the support of facilities and prayers. To minimize barriers is built through good communication on all sides in the same manner, as well as being an inspirational example
