Cultura de estupro como arma de guerra: Abordagem dos Estudos Culturais e de Género
No full textInspired by the understanding that sexual violence does not occur solely between males and females but also includes children, transgender people, homosexuals as well as elderly people, the present study questions the concept of rape as a weapon of war proposed by the feminist approach. According to this theoretical perspective, rape is a manifestation of power and the exercise of masculinity against women. Supported by culture and gender studies, the present research is a critique of the concept of rape as a weapon of war since it is a military and masculine perspective through which the dynamics of power and violence, as well as the restriction of human rights, encompass only the binary man and woman. Therefore, this research concludes that rape as a weapon of war serves to legitimize the patriarchal perspective on the subaltern place that women occupy in society, feeding the silence and victimization of all people whose rape damages their physical body and dignity, making it a closed perspective by excluding, masculinizing, and, victimizing all people subjected to rape in war conflicts.Inspirado no entendimento de que a violência sexual não se cinge somente entre homens e mulheres, mas integra igualmente crianças, mulheres e homens transsexuais, homossexuais e idosos o presente estudo indaga o conceito de estupro como arma de guerra proposto pelo pensamento feminista. De acordo com esta perspetiva teórica, o estupro é um fenómeno que ocorre como manifestação de poder e exercício da masculinidade contra as mulheres. Sustentado pelos estudos culturais e de género, e pela revisão bibliográfica, este estudo propõe uma crítica à abordagem sobre estupro como arma de guerra por entender que esta é uma perspetiva militar e masculina e que responde a um pressuposto limitante no qual as dinâmicas de opressão e restrição de direitos englobam apenas o binário homem e mulher. Assim, conclui-se que a abordagem estupro como arma de guerra serve para legitimar a perspetiva patriarcal sobre o lugar subalterno das mulheres na sociedade, alimentando o silêncio e a vitimização por parte de todas as pessoas a quem o estupro danifica o seu corpo físico e a sua dignidade, o que torna esta abordagem fechada, excludente, masculinizada e vitimizadora

No full textEven after the Pombaline reforms, which particularly affected the power of the Church, the end of the Ancien Regime in Portugal was characterized by religious intolerance and fanaticism; the symbiosis political power/Church, to which the Inquisition and the Intendência da Polícia gave expression, would remain until 1820 with devastating effects on the organization of the society and, most particularly, in the field of education and cultural experience, despite the new Enlightenment winds that blew particularly from revolutionary France. This article, based on a hermeneutic analysis of texts of foreign travelers who demanded Portugal after the fall of Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, intends to prove that, despite all the external pressures and the political and religious anachronism, only the 1820 Liberal Revolution would put an end to almost three centuries of a governing model in which it was not known where the State ended and the Church began.Mesmo após as reformas pombalinas, que particularmente afetaram o poder da Igreja, os fins do Antigo Regime em Portugal caracterizaram-se pela intolerância e fanatismo religiosos; a simbiose poder político/Igreja, a que a Inquisição e a Intendência da Polícia davam expressão, permaneceria até 1820 com efeitos devastadores na organização da sociedade e, muito particularmente, no campo da educação e vivência cultural, apesar dos novos ventos iluministas que sopravam particularmente da França revolucionária. Este artigo, partindo de uma análise hermenêutica de textos de viajantes estrangeiros que demandaram Portugal após a queda de Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, pretende comprovar que, apesar de todas as pressões exteriores e do anacronismo político e religioso, só a Revolução Liberal de 1820 poria fim a quase três séculos de um modelo governativo em que não se sabia onde acabava o Estado e começava a Igreja

CREATIVELAB_SCI&MATH | UM ESTUDO NA FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE PROFESSORES SOBRE ESTATÍSTICAS DA ALIMENTAÇÃO
No full textThe activity “CreativeLab_Sci&Math: Food Statistics” goal is that students mobilize knowledge about the importance of food for human health, in an interdisciplinary context with statistics. A script was used to structure the didactic sequence of the work proposal, to guide the autonomous work of students in initial teacher training and as an instrument for collecting data of their productions. The 35 participating students, organized in working groups, had to create healthy menus, and relate individual health indicators. They performed well in including foods from most groups on the food wheel, except for legumes. Performance was lower in food diversity. Some dietary errors were made and there were difficulties in respecting caloric limits. The results also suggest that some students had difficulty to identify statistical relations between individual health indicators and do not present knowledge of inferential statistics.La actividad “CreativeLab_Sci&Math: Estadísticas de alimentación” tiene como objetivo que los estudiantes movilicen conocimientos sobre la importancia de los alimentos para la salud humana, en un contexto interdisciplinario con estadística. Se utilizó un guion para estructurar la secuencia didáctica de la propuesta de trabajo, orientar el trabajo autónomo de los estudiantes y recogida de datos sobre sus producciones. Los 35 estudiantes, organizados en grupos de trabajo, tuvieron que crear menús saludables y relacionar indicadores de salud individuales. Tuvieron un buen desempeño al incluir alimentos de la mayoría de los grupos en la rueda de alimentos, con la excepción de las legumbres. El desempeño fue menor en diversidad de alimentos. Se cometieron algunos errores dietéticos y hubo dificultades para respetar los límites calóricos. Los resultados también sugieren que algunas estudiantes tienen dificultades para identificar relaciones estadísticas entre indicadores y realizar estadísticas inferenciales.A atividade “CreativeLab_Sci&Math: Estatísticas da alimentação” visa que os estudantes mobilizem saberes sobre a importância da alimentação para a saúde humana, num contexto interdisciplinar com a estatística. Foi usado um guião para estruturar a sequência didática da proposta de trabalho, orientar o trabalho autónomo das estudantes em formação inicial de professores e recolha de dados das suas produções. As 35 estudantes participantes, organizadas em grupos de trabalho, tiveram de criar ementas saudáveis e relacionar indicadores individuais de saúde. Tiveram um bom desempenho na inclusão de alimentos da maioria dos grupos da roda dos alimentos, excetuando as leguminosas. O desempenho foi inferior na diversidade dos alimentos. Foram cometidos alguns erros alimentares e ocorreram dificuldades no respeito dos limites calóricos. Os resultados também sugerem que algumas estudantes têm dificuldade em identificar relações estatísticas entre indicadores e não apresentam conhecimentos sobre estatística inferencial

Representação da mulher na música popular brasileira: entre musa e objeto
No full textThe Brazilian popular music has been established worldwide as a representation of Brazilian culture. The branching of classical music in Brazil, creating the genre known as Música Popular Brasileira (MPB), happened after the second century of colonization. Among the most common themes explored by MPB are women. Over two centuries of being courted through music, the female figure is often represented as something that looks like a profound homage, a declaration of love, an inspiration that proclaims woman as a muse but actually treats her like an object. The purpose of this work is to identify the representation of women in three very well-known songs in Brazil and treated as symbols of recognition of value, beauty, physical and moral attributes or the other way around, depending on the time and social context in which they appear or are analyzed – “Minha Namorada” (by Carlos Lyra and Vinícius de Moraes) “Marina” (by Dorival Caymmi) and “Saudade da Amélia” (by Ataulfo Alves and Mário Lago).A música popular brasileira se estabeleceu mundialmente como representação da cultura do Brasil. A ramificação da música erudita no Brasil, criando o gênero conhecido como MPB, aconteceu depois do segundo século de colonização. Entre as temáticas mais comuns da MPB está a mulher. Mais de dois séculos sendo cortejada através da música, a figura feminina muitas vezes é representada como algo que parece uma homenagem, uma declaração de amor, uma inspiração que proclama a mulher como musa, mas, na verdade, a trata como objeto. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a representação da mulher em três canções muito conhecidas no Brasil e tratadas como símbolo de reconhecimento de valor, beleza, atributos físicos e morais ou ao contrário, a depender da época e contexto social em que aparecem ou são analisadas – nomeadamente “Minha Namorada” (de Carlos Lyra e Vinícius de Moraes), “Marina” (de Dorival Caymmi) e “Saudade da Amélia” (de Ataulfo Alves e Mário Lago)
