Introduction: Las Meninas (The Family of Philip IV) continues being a topic of active research in the field of Medical Sciences. In this painting, three distinct planes can be differentiated, the foreground features the Infanta and her ladies-in-waiting and two court jesters along with a mastiff; and in the background, we find the image of the Monarchs reflected in a mirror. Objectives: To analyze the characters portrayed in the foreground of "Las Meninas", using contemporary clinical genetics concepts. Additionally, it seeks to explore the potential genetic significance of the reflection of the royal couple in the mirror, highlighting its relevance in the era of Genomic Medicine. Methods: A documentary research was conducted, identifying 47 documents through three independent searches in the following databases: PubMed/Medline, Google Scholar and OMIM. Moreover, recommendations from experts in the field were incorporated. Subsequently, two researchers scrutinized independently the articles in their entirety, and both concurred on the recommendation of the inclusion of 32 articles. After conducting a qualitative evaluation, a comprehensive review was generated. Results: Within this painting, there are depicted clinical signs that are sufficient to suggest diagnoses of achondroplasia, Laron syndrome and McCune-Albright syndrome. Furthermore, it serves as an illustrative tool to distinguish the characteristics associated with autosomal dominant inheritance in the Habsburg Syndrome; the observation of this artwork provides an invaluable exercise for honing clinical skills. Conclusions: In the foreground of the painting "Las Meninas," discernible clinical signs in the depicted characters lead us to propose dysmorphic disorders of genetic origin as potential diagnostic hypotheses. The visual observation of Velázquez\u27s genius, captured in this artwork is still decisive as part of the clinical examination in the diagnostic process, especially in the era of Genomic Medicine

History of the Formation of Ethnic Minority Organisations at the Beginning of Ukraine\u27s Independence
Ukraine\u27s progress in European integration requires understanding the specifics of ethnic policy under current conditions. Therefore, the issue of historical retrospectives of the formation and activities of ethnic minority organizations in the early 1990s as one of the factors of state-building remains relevant. This study aims to analyze the historical context and peculiarities of the institutionalization of ethnic minority structures in Ukraine at the initial stage of the restoration of Ukrainian state independence. The research object is ethnic minority organizations, primarily those that focused their activities on national and cultural revival. The methodological framework includes the principles of historicism, tolerance, scientific impartiality, and impartiality. The formation of ethnic community organisations and the main vectors of their activities during the specified period have been traced in detail. Despite many common historical, cultural, and socio-political backgrounds, the formation of such organisations for different communities could have its peculiarities. For example, for Jewish organizations, the demographic issue was acute due to emigrant sentiments in the Jewish community. As for ethnic minorities like Hungarians and Romanians, they had close ties with their historical homelands. This fact also influenced their organizational structure in Ukraine. The Georgian minority built their organizations emphasizing cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia. Germans also sought to maintain ties with their historical homeland. For Poles, the religious factor was significant. Overall, in Ukraine, there were quite favorable conditions for the full development and activities of ethnic minorities despite the complex political and economic situation of the early 1990s. Nowadays, the issue of organizational development of ethnic communities is a matter of focus for state authorities both at the legislative level and at the level of local communitie

Failure behavior of Strengthen reinforced concrete columns under effect of static load
Introduction: This study aimed to present a rapid and effective repair method using Cempatch and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) for reinforced concrete (RC) columns affected by seismic events. Methods: The study included both experimental and theoretical components. The experiment involved casting and testing thirteen 900 mm long reinforced concrete columns with identical longitudinal steel reinforcement and a cross-section of 200 x 200 mm. An axial compressive load (N) was applied to all specimens, starting from zero and increasing until failure. The columns were divided into four groups, each containing a control column. Three damaged columns in each group were repaired with Cempatch and different levels of CFRP. The theoretical analysis utilized ANSYS software (version 14) for simulation. Results: The experimental results showed that the failure pattern shifted from the repaired areas to the unrepaired ones as the number of CFRP layers increased. This indicates that the restoration materials efficiently deflected stress and enhanced the load-bearing capacity of the columns. Finite element analysis results showed strong agreement with the experimental findings, with final load differences of 17.3% and 0.9%, respectively. The tests demonstrated a 148.7% increase in ultimate load with additional CFRP layers, and a 30.3% rise in the number of repaired faces. However, repairs near the center of the columns yielded less favorable outcomes than those at the top. Conclusions: The study confirms that using Cempatch and CFRP significantly improves the seismic resistance of RC columns, with optimal repair outcomes achieved with CFRP layers applied near the top of the columns
The philosophical dimensions of cultural dynamics in society\u27s evolution
Introduction: Philosophical and cultural research is positioned to study culture\u27s structure, function, and role. At the same time, the philosophy of the cultural phenomenon focuses on identifying the main evolutionary cultural trends and understanding the causes of crisis phenomena. Objective: This research implements a scientific inquiry into the cultural aspects of societal development in the context of philosophical knowledge. A systematic analysis of the societal and cultural development stages was carried out to comprehend these processes according to the established periodisation in philosophical teachings. Methods: A number of theoretical research methods were used, including historical, philosophical and philosophical-cultural methods, holistic and systemic analysis, synthesis, methods of comparison, generalization, and others. Results: It is substantiated that the synergy of philosophy and culture forms a unique reflective-conceptual framework for the cultural development of society, endowing it with integrity and orderliness and enabling the rationalisation of individual elements within the social system. It has been proven that the model of philosophical knowledge within the traditional cognitive and cultural paradigm, which correlates with order, balance, stability, and determinism, does not correspond to the realities and challenges of the modern world with its chaos, imbalance, instability, and volatility. The study found that the ideas of synergism have not lost their paradigmatic significance to this day. Conclusions: Thus, it is demonstrated that the essence of the philosophical nature of cultural aspects is positioned as the development of the human position in the philosophical-cultural dimension in a historical-temporal context
