The Reality of the Application of Solvency 2 in Algerian Insurance Companies
No full textThis study aims to shed light on the reality of the Solvency 2 system\u27s application in Algerian insurance companies by highlighting the extent of knowledge of the Solvency 2 requirements of insurance companies operating in Algeria, as well as assessing the level of compliance and responsiveness to the application of the requirements of this system as the most important developments of the precautionary regulations and rules in force internationally. To accomplish this, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to 26 insurance companies operating in the Algerian insurance market, and the data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS V26). According to the study findings, Algerian insurance companies\u27 awareness of the Solvency 2 application requirements is below the required level, with a disparity in the degree of their responsiveness to Solvency 2 in terms of its three requirements

No full textThis study aims to identify the impact of investing in sukuk on the profitability of Islamic banks, As one of the financial tools and investment channels for Islamic financial institutions, Through a case study, the profitability of Al-Rajhi Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was affected by its investment in Islamic sukuk during the period 2008-2021, In order to complete the study, the standard method was adopted using the VAR autoregressive beam model , Using the Eviews 12 program based on data obtained from the annual reports of Al Rajhi Bank, The study reached a number of results, including: There is a direct relationship between the volume of profits achieved in Al-Rajhi Bank and the volume of Islamic sukuk, This means that the higher the volume of sukuk invested in by Al Rajhi Bank in a year, the higher the value of profits achieved in the following year, and vice versa in the case of a decrease, The study also concluded that the investment of Islamic banks in sukuk has strong positive effects on the size of their future profits

No full textIslamic finance has recently witnessed remarkable global interest, particularly the Islamic stock exchange market in Malaysia, for its years of success at the macroeconomic level. The desire for this research paper led us to explore this pioneering experience in employing this type of finance that has contributed to Malaysia\u27s development renaissance, through two themes, the first of which highlighted the role of Islamic finance in achieving economic growth through principles and tools that encourage wealth-producing investment and create growth. In the second axis, we used econometric modeling to study the impact of two variables of stock market which are sukuk volume and Islamic market value on GDP, to reveal the nature of the relationship between them using the ARDL boundary test model and the error correction model with "R" program and its statistical packages.

No full textThe study aims to identify the activities of green human resources management between The Universities of Shaqra and Abu Dhabi, and to test the impact between these activities personal and organizational variables. The problem was to cover the shortage of awareness of the impact of personal and organizational variables on the activities of green human resources management in universities
. The study found that there are no statistically significant differences in the average opinions of individuals in the sample for the activities attributed to the educational level change, at The Shaqra University. While there are differences in activities (green employment, green incentives, green selection, green performance assessment), referred to the educational level changer, and to the benefit of the master\u27s degree holders, at Abu Dhabi University. Also, there are no differences in the average opinions of the sample members of activities attributable to the change in the number of years of experience, at The University of Shaqra, while there are differences in the respondents\u27 answers about the impact of the personal and organizational variables of the variable (green function design) due to the variable number of years of experience, and for the benefit of the group (10 to under 15 years), at The University of Abu Dhabi.

No full textThis study aimed to identify the impact of the application of the international standard ISO 18000 on the performance of the human resource, by knowing the extent of the commitment of the higher management of the institution in the application of the requirements of this specification in the institution of BATIMETAL, where occupational safety and health in the industrial institution constitutes an integrated system for the prevention of injuries and diseases Work-related, as well as protecting and promoting the health of workers, which aims to improve working conditions and the environment and achieve continuous improvement. It was applied to the workers of the establishment, where 72 questionnaires were randomly distributed and 50 of them were retrieved, and to analyze the data we used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Through this study, we reached the following result, which is the existence of a significant effect of the application of the international standard ISO 18000 (occupational health and safety policy, planning, application and operations, examination and corrective measures, management review, continuous improvement) in the performance of human resources at the significance level of 0.05.Keywords: health management; occupational safety; human resource performance; Batimetal Foundation; International Standard ISO 18000
The organizational climate and its relationship to the professional compatibility of employees in the university services sector
Get PDFThis study aimed to reveal the relationship between the organizational climate and the professionalcompatibility of employees in the university services sector. To achieve the objectives of the study,we relied on a sample of (83) employees at the University Services Directorate of Laghouat, usingthe professional compatibility questionnaire (Sami Khalil Fahjan, 2010) and the organizationalclimate questionnaire (Fouzia H\u27wayen, 2014). After statistical treatment, the study concluded thefollowing results:The organizational climate among the study sample members is not appropriate, as all theaverages are below the average.- The level of general professional compatibility among the study sample members is heading in thedirection of good compatibility.- There is a positive correlation between the organizational climate and professional compatibilityamong the study sample members

No full textThe study aimed to describe and analyze the reality of green energy and sustainabledevelopment through the Renewable Energy Efficiency Program. In order to achieve these goals, adescriptive approach was used to review the different concepts of sustainable development and theimportance of green energy. Development of renewable energies and energy efficiency 2011-2030in order to provide comprehensive and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, and topreserve energy resources of fossil origin, and this program aims to produce 22,000 megawatts by2030 for the local market, and the study found that during the pilot phase of the project Newelements have emerged that require review. The study also pointed out the need to adopt modernand effective strategies to fill these deficiencies, which would contribute to achieving thesustainable development goals

The study also exposed the reality of agricultural education in Algeria, which comesfrom a colonial heritage. The study showed that no clear strategy was taken towardssustainable agricultural education after independence, especially in specialized highereducation, and this was evident by studying the reality of agricultural education in theNational School of Agricultural Sciences. Short and long term determinants of export diversification in Algeria: ARDL model (1995-2020)
Get PDFThe object of this paper is to examine the determinants of the diversification of exports in Algeria over the period 1995-2020 using the ARDL model. The cointegration analysis revealed the presence of long-run relationship between export diversification and its determinants. The error correction model also revealed a short-run relationship among export and its determinants. The study found that all the explanatory variables had a long- run relationship with export diversification. Specifically, terms of trade had the expected negative sign. On the other hand, GDP growth and degree of freedom to invest found to affect, in long-term, negatively export diversification in Algeria. The short-term results showed that the positive drivers of export diversification are GDP growth and degree of freedom to invest. While terms of trade favours export specialization. These results suggest a diversification in the export basket, structural transformation of the Algerian economy and improvement of the business climate
