Although many methods are used for characterization of Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) parts, but the process of metal injection molding (MIM) has provided an alternative for the manufacturer to produce small and complex parts. MIM is an acronym for metal injection molding, a process for manufacturing metal parts. MIM combines the design freedom of plastic injection molding with the performance of metal. This research will provide an introduction to metal injection molding by briefly reviewing the basic process steps by using a composite binder system whose main constituents are polyethyle glycol (PEG), which are water soluble binder system. This also covered Hostamont EK583, a ready made binder and finely dispersed polymethyl methacylate (PMMA). Besides, feedstock at three different PEG% weight binder composition; 65%, 75% and 85% powder loading were studied in order to find the best homogeneity of feedstock. From the results, it shows that the increasing of the PEG% composition would increase the viscosity. The lower the value of viscosity, the easier it is for a MIM feedstock to flow. Result also shows that the flow of the feedstock is found as pseudoplastic flow and at the composition of PEG 75% posses the best homogeneity feedstock

Heritage building in Melaka has been gazzeted by Perbadanan Muzium Melaka (PERZIM) and they have been a lot of data and documentation regarding the heritage buildings including Traditional House, Religious Building and Colonial Buildings. Currently all records regarding to heritage buildings in Melaka generally consist of measured drawings, archival photographs and reports. It caters primary knowledge regarding heritage and conservation in architecture which emphasizes on measuring, recording and documenting building in form of drawings using manual and computer aided techniques, report and multimedia presentation of selected building. All the measured drawing data about heritage buildings is increasing and there are no databased have been created to manage all the data in digital archives to accommodate with twenty first century technology. A geographic information system (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present spatial or geographic data. Therefore, GIS technology became a usual tool for heritage managers, conservators, restorers, architects, archaeologists, painters and all other categories of experts involved in cultural heritage activities. Web-based GIS uses the Internet to access and transmit data and the analysis tools to enhance the visualization and integration of spatial data. Before we develop the GIS Web application, the main thing that need to be emphasized is the conceptual design of GIS database regarding heritage buildings in Melaka. The Web GIS application will assist PERZIM and National Heritage Department (JWN) in managing data on heritage buildings and to preserve the heritage for next generation. Beside this application is very meaningful and align with I.R 4.0 where the cyber-physical systems are the basis and enable new capabilities in areas of studies

The need to take safety as the underlying core aspects of all business operations and services which includes educational institutions becoming a concern especially when few catastrophic fire tragedies occurred lately took lives of young children mercilessly. This study mainly examines the influence of lecturer’s safety leadership towards safety behavior among engineering students of Polytechnic Port Dickson.  The aspects of safety rely not only on installing expensive equipment and alarms but also in prevention method through awareness and attitude of building occupants. Educational institutions such as polytechnics have many engineering laboratories that need to be operated by inexperienced students with lecturer’s guidance. Therefore they are exposed to various hazards both inside and outside of laboratory. Just as the saying goes   “prevention is better than cure” this study helps to determine what other methods that lecturers can use to create safety behavior among students so that they can well manage the existing hazard in lab. This instilled safety behavior can then be brought into their far more hazardous environment during their working life in future.  Safety leadership of lecturer is looked into three attributes which are safety concern, safety motivation and safety policy. These three attributes contributes as independent variables. Students’ safety behavior consists of two dependent variables which are safety compliance and safety participation. The influence of each of these two attributes (safety compliance and safety participations) towards safety leadership attributes is studied using a total of 345 questionnaires which were distributed to mechanical, electrical and civil department of Polytechnic Port Dickson. Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were used to in Statistical Package for Social Sciences, (SPSS) to analyze the outcome of raw data.  Safety compliance shows significant relationship with all three safety leadership attributes (safety concern, safety motivation, and safety policy). The highest influence towards safety compliance of students goes to safety policy, followed by safety concern and the least is safety motivation. As with safety participation, the highest influence goes to safety concern, safety motivation and the least is safety policy. Safety component is the most essential in determining safety behavior as it has been consistently explaining the variance in both dimensions of safety behavior.&nbsp
