Crisps Processor (AGV-01)
Crisps Processor or codename AGV-01 is a semi-automatic machine that serves as a special crisps processing machine for small and medium-sized industries that are still working on crisps production manually. The AGV-01 innovation research project is invented through a Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) research grant from the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. Crisps production using manually is slow and tiring especially in the process of popping, frying and lifting. Therefore AGV-01 was developed to speed up the production of crisps and to increase productivity by combining all of the major crisps production processes under one production area. The merger of the processes not only saves production time but it also increases the crisps production by up to 5.7 times compared to the existing manual method. The AGV-01 does not change the original recipes and flavor of the existing crisps, but it improves the quality and texture of the crisps. AGV-01 is not only focused on time saving and quality improvements as well as production quantities alone, but with the use of AGV-01, the industry can also produce up to 5 different types of crisps, based on bananas, potatoes, cassavas, yams and sweet potatoes

Fabrication, Measurement and Verification of Switchable Dielectric Resonator Antenna Array for 5G Applications
This paper describes the fabrication, measurement and verification of switchable dielectric resonator antenna array for 5G applications. 5G has a small size of antenna due to its shorter wavelength compared to the previous generation. This small size causes difficulty in obtaining precision in the fabrication process as well as measurement. In this research, the dielectric resonators (DR) are painstakingly aligned on the ground plane slot by using the tracing paper. This simple technique had successfully enhanced the accuracy of the DR position since the misalignment between the DR and the feeding network is minimized. The performance of the reflection coefficient of the fabricated antenna are verified by connecting the port directly to the Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) to minimal the additional losses during the measurement. The results of the reflection coefficient showed that the losses for five various switching angles have been reduced in the range of 2 to 3 dB. Subsequent to this, the switchable DRA array is able to steer at three various steering angle which are 0°, -30° and +30° with 3dB beamwidth around 24°. Hence, the proposed switchable DRA array is capable to cover 60° sector which is considered suitable for 5G applications
Analysis of Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of Al-SiCp Metal Matrix Composite
According on development of technology, composite materials are given first preference due to its high strength and less weight ratio. The main application of metal matrix composites is used in aeronautical and automobile applications. Aluminium is light weight materias, but it has lower mechanical strength. To improve the mechanical properties of Aluminium (Al), silicon carbide particle (SiCp) is added as reinforcement to Aluminium powder for preparing metal matrix composite. The metal matrix composite is produced by powder metallurgy method. This method is cheap and very effective. The composites was fabricated by variation of SiCp reinforcement from 0 % , 5 %, 10 % and 15 % wt. Four samples of the composite materials have been prepared according to testing for bulk density, compressive strength, vickers hardness and crystal structure. From the results obtained, the composition of SiCp reinforcement can influence siqnificantly on bulk density, compressive strength and vickers hardness. If the composition of SiCp reinforcement increase, the bulk density, compressive strength and vickers hardness tend to increase. The highest density, highest hardness and compressive strength are achieved at sample with 15 % SiCp at sintering temperature 650oC. According the XRD results show that it is found two phases such as Al phase and SiC at samples with 5 to 15 % wt. of SiCp
Improving Existing Methods of Generating Electrical Power Supply and Air Ventilation Inside Food Trucks
Unlike restaurants that have fixed connections to the grid for all their electricity needs, food truck entrepreneurs need the appropriate power that can be used to handle electrical equipment. This makes mobile generators an important part of today\u27s food trucks. However, the use of fuel-generating generators is not only noisy, these fossil fuel sources are decreasing and this causes fossil fuel prices to rise. It also causes air pollution such as acid rain, haze and rising earth temperatures. FIC KITCHEN TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. has opened an offer through the PPRN program to researchers from Public Institutions to submit proposals for solutions to improve existing methods for generating electricity in Food Trucks and to identify ways to improve ventilation in Food Trucks. Solar energy is one of renewable energy and will not be exhausted. The use of a silent solar power supply system without air pollution is not just to light a lamp, but it is also larger for machines in food trucks such as mini fridge, food warmer heater, coffee maker, sink water pump, blender and 1HP air-conditioning. The results of the study show the effectiveness of the use of solar systems in food trucks in terms of fuel cost savings as well as the system\u27s power supply capabilities in handling electrical equipment. This project has opened another era of advancement in the production of food trucks using an eco-friendly supply system
