    Digital Skills and Customer Relationship Management in Business Enhancement – An Application for the Participants of NCER Lifelong Education in Baling Community College

    Digital skills recently significantly impacted the social relationship of the newmillennium society. Based on the awareness of this current reality, many strivetoward implementing this method in every aspect of life, including businesses.Therefore, the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) course participantsshould not be left out of the changes, including knowledge of life andentrepreneurship skills. Knowledge in finding opportunities related toentrepreneurship must be updated so that the products can be marketed throughthe correct channel and medium. The research conducted on NCER courseparticipants who did business during the course organised by Baling CommunityCollege, Kedah, is to observe the enhancement in their businesses following thetraining attended in the college\u27s digital application. This research aims toobserve the relationship between digital marketing, customer relationshipmanagement, and the enhancement of their businesses. 45 participants of theNCER course from Baling Community College Kedah were involved in thisresearch. The questionnaire answered by the respondents was then analysedusing SPSS version 21. Overall, the result found that most NCER courseparticipants have enhanced their sales using digital marketing platforms and canimprove customer relationships

    This study was conducted to identify the acceptance, development of technology andtechnical skills among students at Polytechnic Muadzam Shah, Pahang and then make acomparison with public and private universities that offer the same program to obtain acomparison of the program modules offered to see the ability of the program modules to meetindustry needs and current trends. Qualitative research methods were used to analyse thedata. After that, data collection is conducted through observation and documentation. Thestudy is limited to the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication programs.A comparative analysis study has been carried out on other institutions, such as UniversitiTeknologi MARA, Lim Kok Wing, Universiti Multimedia and UniKL, offering programs thatcan be used to support the comparison of the above findings. The scope has been chosen toassess the program\u27s needs according to the latest technology, reducing students\u27 ability interms of skills and techniques in the use of software and digital applications.     The Usage of Waste Cooking Oil (Wco) In Production of Solid Dishwashing Soap with Split Gill Mushroom (Schizophyllum commune) Extract Addition

    Disposal of waste cooking oil in an improper manner results in environmental pollution. This is very worrying because the disposal of waste cooking oil in waterways or rivers can endanger aquatic life as well as human water resources. This study aims to reduce the pollution of waste cooking oil by making it a solid dishwashing soap with the addition of split gill mushroom (Schizophyllum Commune) extract and to identify the effectiveness of the solid dishwashing soap based on physicochemical test and sensory test. Split gill mushroom extract was included as an additional ingredient because it has beta-glucan which is very good to maintain hand moisture. The physicochemical test result showed the value of total fatty matter (77.4%), total alkalinity (as CaCO3) (8.0%), free fatty acid (0.15%), free alkali (as NaOH) (<0.05%), content moisture (1.9%) and pH (10.34) of the solid dishwashing soap product. For the sensory test, a questionnaire was distributed randomly to 79 respondents at Politeknik Jeli Kelantan. The results were analyzed using SPSS (Mann-Whitney U Test) and it showed a significant difference between SchizoComm solid dishwashing soap and commercial solid dishwashing soap at the level of (p <0.05). Moreover, this SchizoComm product gathers a lot of positive responses from the sensory evaluation in terms of odour, colour, foam, cleaning, moisture, and price compared to commercial dishwashing soap. It is hoped that this SchizoComm Solid Dishwashing Soap product can enter the market and attract the attention of the community in helping to reduce environmental pollution caused by improper disposal of waste cooking oil

    Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) are specific goals consistent with the mission andvision of the expressed interest of programme stakeholders describing the expectedachievements of graduates in their career and professional life after graduation. Criteria ofgood PEOs are such as distinctive, specific, measurable, achievable, result-oriented, andhaving a time frame. A diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Product Design) is one of theprogrammes offered at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Politeknik MuadzamShah. To answer the question of the study, the reviewers used Dichotomous or Close-endedquestions to answer all the PEO regarding the respondent\u27s work in the engineering field,professional ethics, enterprising activities that apply engineering knowledge and successfulcareer advancement. The programme\u27s objectives should produce balanced TVET graduatesset across four PEO. The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politeknik Muadzam Shah,prepared the survey which was opened for responses in late 2022. This PEO review analysisstudy was developed based on data from the results of 44 respondents for graduates ofDiploma Mechanical Engineering (Produk Design) that graduated in the year 2017, 2018 and2019. This study found that PEO1 competent in knowledge and skills in the field ofmechanical engineering according to the industry in DRP related field meets department KPIsof more than 35%. The finding for PEO2 indicates that the graduates can communicate withcolleagues well, and the result for PEO3 indicates that the graduates recognised theimportance of sharing their responsibility through engagement with the community, with100% of alumni from the DRP programme have contributed to society with professional ethicsand responsibilities. Lastly, in terms of PEO4, the graduates have successfully participatedin entrepreneurship activities. Meanwhile, 54.5% of graduates want to pursue study at ahigher level (degree / professional certificate)

    Intelligent Smart Dustbin (i-SMARTBiN)

    Technology play a central role in nearly all aspects of our lives. Technology is also used as an approach to educate the next generation about the importance of the environment. The i-SMARTBiN is a cost-effective design of an intelligent waste container. Normally the trash bin that is on the market is manually operated either using the feet or hands to open the lid thus it will be challenging for children to dispose of trash. This project\u27s goals are to discipline and educate children to instil in them a sense of responsibility and the value of cleanliness, as well as to facilitate their growth and education. The i-SMARTBiN design is based on Arduino Nano board and an ultrasonic sensor to monitor the container\u27s level of fill. The main concept behind the i-SMARTBiN is object detection. A similar methodology is implemented here, where the Ultrasonic sensor is placed on top of the dustbin’s lid. When the ultrasonic sensor detects an object resembling a human hand, it will trigger the Arduino to open the i-lid SMARTBIN\u27s using the servo. The infrared sensor (IR Sensor) in the i-SMARTBiN used to detect the dustbin when its full, the green LED will ON and the servo will open the smart dustbin lid, but the i-SMARTBiN lid will not open by the servo when its full, and the red LED will on. The i-SMARTBIN encourages children to throw garbage at the right place. Using i-SMARTBIN, the lid of the dustbin stays closed, so that waste is not exposed (to avoid flies and mosquitos) and when to dispose any waste, the lid will automatically open. The i-SMARTBiN automatic system is an innovation creation that can be used by all levels of society

    Statistics are not only important for learning at various levels of educational institutions, but they are also important to be applied in one\u27s daily life. In fact, it is knowledge that is very crucial when doing a study or research. Despite its importance, teachers are faced with issues when delivering the subject to students. STATS IQ LAB is an application developed to assist students in solving long statistical problems. This study is devoted to exploring the perception of students in relation to STATS IQ LAB. The sample of the study was 143 Semester 2 students from Politeknik Port Dickson who studied Statistics in 2022. They were asked to respond to a set of questionnaires that focused on the aspects of Content, User-access and also Applicability. Data was analyzed descriptively using SPSS software. The findings revealed that the highest mean was shown by the Applicability aspect, followed by User-access and Content

    The Augmented Reality (AR) application is a learning application explicitly designed for ServisKenderaan Ringan certificate students at Community College who take the SKR 3302 VehicleAir Conditioning System Maintenance course. This learning application combines mobileapplication methods and Augmented Reality (AR) technology that can be accessed through asmartphone using the AR Edu: My AC Kit application and used with Augmented RealityBlippAR. Even when students are not in class, students can access and download notesanywhere. In addition, students can also access and download Summative and FormativeAssessment documents such as Assignments, Practice Sheets and Quizzes through theprovided application. The problem identified for students at Pasir Salak Community Collegeis that conventional learning methods, such as printed notes or books as learning guides andreferences, are found to be less attractive to students studying this course. This study wascarried out to evaluate the usability and student acceptance of the AR application for the SKR3302 course. The objective of this application was built as a medium of reference and selflearning for students. Where four items can be achieved in this application, namely Notes,Videos, Evaluation Documents and games, to attract students to use this application. A totalof 32 Semester 3 Light Vehicle Service Certificate Program students were involved in thisstudy. The study uses this descriptive method to evaluate the developed application\u27susability and acceptance. This study uses a 5-choice Likert scale questionnaire. This studyfound that students are very satisfied with the developed application. Furthermore, the Minvalue from the aspect of this application improves user skills towards the Vehicle AirConditioning System Maintenance course is very high. In conclusion, the construction of thismobile application was successfully developed and potentially implemented in teaching andlearning for the Vehicle Air Conditioning System Maintenance Course throughout theMalaysian Community College. In conclusion, the learning concept used in this applicationaligns with the latest national agenda and technological developments in meeting thechallenges of 21st Century Learning and the 4.0 industrial revolution

    The M-Jet Hybrid International Student Exchange Program with Kanda University ofInternational Studies (KUIS), Japan and Kuala Langat Community College (KKKL) was heldon 5th June 2022 at the Malaysia Tourism Center (MaTiC). This program is an invitationfrom the Chiba Prefecture Commerce, Industry and Labor Department EducationInterexchange Team, Japan. It is an online Japanese and Malaysian cultural exchangeprogram. The problem identified at the early stage by the researcher was that the participants\u27English proficiency was moderate, and showed a lack of confidence in communicating. Inaddition, the selected participants experienced mixed feelings about participating in thisprogram because they had a load of assignments and other commitments in several projectsin college. The main objective of this study is to see the impact of this program onrespondents, including emotional factors, skill improvement factors, value factors andsuggestions for program improvement. This study is a combination of a quantitative andqualitative study. The quantitative method was through the distribution of questionnaires totwenty-two (22) respondents online. Meanwhile, qualitative research was conducted based onobservations and interviews. The findings of the study showed that all the factors examinedexceed the average value of 4.00, which is the overall average for the emotional factor (4.70),the skill improvement factor (4.38) and the value factor (4.69). While observations andinterviews showed that the emotions and skills of the respondents are tested where thechallenges and obstacles before the program takes place can be overcome with excellence andsuccess. In conclusion, this program has had much positive impact, not only strengtheningthe relationship between educational institutions in Malaysia and Japan but also promotingcultural diversity and the education system of both countries. Hence, it promotes friendshipand close cooperation between students and educational institutions of different countries

    IOT Based Non-Invasive Glucose Monitoring System for Diabetic Patient

    The development of technology is very rapid at present, especially in the field of medical engineering. This paper focuses on an insole that can check the glucose level of a person by putting their feet on the insoles. It provides information about gait mechanics and has a wide range of applications, in clinical situations. In this project the sensors are used to gain insight about infrared, skin sensor of diabetic person. It is also wearable real-time monitoring and feedback faces the challenge of patient adherence. The insole consists of an array of sensors. The pressure-sensing smart insole system provided unique feedback to both patient and provider in ways that contributed to the prevention of pressure as well as highlight the importance of prescribed a non-invasive method. Real-time visualization of pressure mapping which are using internet data is also incorporated because it makes it much easier to understand the data needed. &nbsp

    Defect Ratio in TV Production Process: A Case Study Towards Improved Quality

    Quality level in TV manufacturing process had been an issue to overcome in recent times. This is because emphasize on quality level at early stage is not established as production output had been the main focus. This study is to expose the defect based on TV models and on final product in order to reduce defects by identifying where the highest waste is occurred. The approach used in this study is direct from the NEXUL system from November 2016 to January 2017 to identify the major defect contribution at TV production process. The implementation of quality tools in the TV production process can bring down the current defect part per million (DPPM) for TV product defects. The data is gathered by extracting from the TV production process server and analyzed using Pareto Chart. The total defect of five TV models had been identified by using quality tools and the highest value is 4196dppm. It has been found that the quality factors and environment play a big role in deciding the causes of the high defect rate
