Walter Kasper i Joseph Ratzinger o komunii dla osób rozwiedzionych i w powtórnych związkach
The subject of the article is a critical presentation of Cardinal Walter Kasper\u27s speech delivered at the Cardinal Consistory in February 2014, with the aim of preparing the Synod of Bishops on “The Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of the Evangelization”. From several of Kasper\u27s important themes, which have influenced decisively the synodal discussion, this article chooses his postulate of changing the practice of the Church in the field of access to Eucharistic communion for the divorced and remarried people. Kasper\u27s argument was confronted with Joseph Ratzinger\u27s views in this field, with particular emphasis on their evolution in 1972-2005.Tematem artykułu jest krytyczna prezentacja przemówienia kardynała Waltera Kaspera wygłoszonego podczas konsystorza kardynałów w lutym 2014, którego celem było przygotowanie Synodu Biskupów dotyczącego „Wyzwań duszpasterskich związanych z rodziną w kontekście ewangelizacji”.
Spowiednik i wyzwanie związane z pornografią
Increasingly, many confessors are confronted with penitents who have become involved with pornography. This article provides some statistics illustrating the scope of pornography and then analyzes the harm that pornography causes, both to the dignity of the human person and in relation to the virtues of chastity and justice. The article invites confessors to help penitents understand that involvement with pornography is more than simply breaking a commandment, but rather affects a penitent’s capacity for self-giving and thus one’s authentic emotional and spiritual growth. Confessors should guide penitents who struggle with this issue to cultivate the true vision of human love in place of the distorted image offered by pornographic material. The confessor should be prepared to turn a penitent’s attention to effective spiritual remedies as well as in some cases suggesting a penitent seek professional assistance so that the authentic image of God may be restored and the penitent be helped to attain true freedom from the vice of pornography.Increasingly, many confessors are confronted with penitents who have become involved with pornography. Obrona życia ludzkiego jako kwestia prawego sumienia
One of the most important manifestations and signs of the new culture of life is unconditional defense of human life from conception to natural death which John Paul II spoke very often about. Involvement and forms of activity in this field depend on the state of human consciences - from their righteousness. The author shows this fundamental issue in the light of the remains current and relevant today Encyclical Evangelium vitae. At the beginning it refers to the fact that the word conscience is today a commonly used as a moral category, but ambiguously understood. He draws attention that the root of this phenomenon is on the one hand, the practical abandonment of the objective truth known by reason, and, on the other hand, the departure from the faithful revelations of the truths revealed by God. Then he shows his commitment to defending human life as a testimony of right conscience. He stops by the legal protection of human life from conception, indicates to verbal manipulations blurring the truth about actions against human life, and stresses the importance of opposing conscience to unjust law. Finally, he draws the issue of shaping the right conscience in the defense of human life. He indicates to the proclamation of the Gospel of life, at the center of which is the person of Jesus Christ, emphasizes the intellectual aspect of formation of conscience, i.e. need for clear and convincing arguments about the value of human life and the proficiency of educating the young generation to live sexually in the service of love and life. It also draws attention to the many signs of the victory of the culture of life, but also to phenomena that point to the need for further actions to defend human life
Pozycja i rola Bożego objawienia w dialogu międzywyznaniowym
Abstrakt dostępny w papierowej wersji czasopisma. The current migration crisis in Europe is a practical context of this study. A lot of refugees, predominantly Muslims, are constantly coming to our continent. This fact raises important questions and challenges not only to politics and economy, but also to the Church and its theology. It has already occured many times that one should focus not only on finding practical solutions to the problem, but also a deeper, honest theoretical reflection that takes into account the foundations of Christian doctrine. In this case, it is mainly about the relationship of Christianity to other religions. Contemporary theology, especially fundamental theology practiced in the Polish and German linguistic areas, underlines the importance of the question about the truth In the context of God’s revelation, its meaning In the context of the relationship of Christianity to other religions and other religions among themsleves. God’s revelation is the source and principle of all theology, including the criterion of reference of Christianity to non- Christian religions. Practical principles of dialogue between Christianity and Islam can be developed on such a foundation. The new concept by the German theologian Henning Enogemann, demanding the transition from theology of religion to theology of interreligious relations turns out to be particularly interesting for theology of religion. His theory of interreligious relations is a practical application of theoretical findings. Interreligious dialogue calls for new competences from all its participants

Kreatywne sumienie w Amoris laetitia?
The article is an attempt to answer the question of whether the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia of Pope Francis is a manifestation of a creative conscience. In connection with the above, the concept and essence of the so-called “creative conscience”, then – in accordance with the teaching spirit of the Bishop of Rome – the status of Christian marriage in the contemporary world was outlined and, finally, the current teaching was confronted with the traditional vision of conscience. Due to the lack of an original commentary on the comments and issues raised by the readers of the document, it becomes legitimate to say that the document allows such interpretative possibilities that point to the creative role of conscience. This is the role shown in the so-called “new moral theology” after the Second Vatican Council. Therefore, it is difficult to recognize the present interpretation of Amoris laetitia as an expression of “hermeneutics of continuity” and also as teaching stemming from the Thomist tradition.Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy adhortacja apostolska Amoris laetitia papieża Franciszka jest przejawem kreatywnego sumienia. W związku z powyższym scharakteryzowano pojęcie i istotę tzw. „sumienia kreatywnego”, następnie - zgodnie z duchem nauczania biskupa Rzymu – nakreślono status małżeństwa chrześcijańskiego we współczesnym świecie i wreszcie skonfrontowano aktualne nauczanie z tradycyjną wizją sumienia.
Although dying as the last act of life constitutes part of our earthly existence, death is difficult to accept. Faced with death an individual has always started asking questions about the meaningfulness of his/ her life and life after death. In the contemporary western culture characterized among others by the collapse of the social structures, people very rarely die surrounded by their families as they used to do, but in hospitals, i.e. in isolation, suffering from loneliness, connected to a range of technologically advanced medical devices. Socio-cultural changes have brought about a conviction that death ends human existence. Catholic faith, however, offers hope that death provides access to desirable future events. As a pass-through state death is the end and the beginning, since after death life is transformed. Consequently, we die trustfully hoping to be rewarded with eternal life
