Although Eastern Partnership has won the support of the EU Member States it remains an initiative competitive for the Mediterranean Union, which is strongly promoted by France. Eastern policy can distract the EU’s attention from the issue of North Africa France places so much importance on, therefore France can be expected to tend to marginalize the significance of Eastern Partnership. The same attitude may also be supported by Russia (as France attempts to establish cooperation along the Paris–Berlin–Moscow line, while neglecting the interests of Poland and Central and Eastern European countries).Although Eastern Partnership has won the support of the EU Member States it remains an initiative competitive for the Mediterranean Union, which is strongly promoted by France. Koncepcja ustroju państwa w dokumentach Vaticanum Secundum

Vaticanum Secundum distinguished a single form of political system: democracy. Yet the Church’s approval of democracy comprises its institutional realm only. The Vatican Council’s documents deny the liberal model of democracy, and Paul VI actually condemned ‘philosophical liberalism’ in his letter Octogesima adveniens, when he claimed that it was based on erroneous foundations. Formulating its attitude to democracy the Church adopted a method of ‘balancing out’. According to the doctrinal statements of Vaticanum Secundum and their analysis outlined above, the model which is best adjusted to the modern reality is a specific mixed system, which obviously needs to be based on Christian axiology.Vaticanum Secundum distinguished a single form of political system: democracy. The Jewish presence is not indispensable for the anti-Semitic discourse to justify and legitimize its existence. This discourse fights against imaginary and symbolic Jews, those who are appointed to be Jewish, and in particular against everything that this discourse opposes and tries to associate with the Jews in all manners. Such practices have been implemented numerous times during the presidential election campaigns in Poland after 1989. However, the consequences of the instrumentalization of anti-Semitism, although deserving to be despised, should be neither overestimated nor exaggerated when interpreting the voters’ decisions. Were anti-Semitism the instrument of utmost influence indeed, Aleksander Kwaoeniewski would not have been elected Polish president twice. The Jewish presence is not indispensable for the anti-Semitic discourse to justify and legitimize its existence.
