ChatGPT Usage and Learning Motivation among Senior High School Students: A Correlational Study
This study examines the relationship between Chat GPT usage and learning motivation among senior high school students at Santo Tomas National High School (STNHS) using a quantitative correlational design. A sample of 330 students was surveyed, revealing a moderately strong positive correlation between Chat GPT usage and learning motivation. The findings indicate that higher levels of Chat GPT usage have a moderate, positive, and significant relationship with increased motivation to learn. The study also notes that students demonstrate an average level of Chat GPT usage and a high level of learning motivation. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the research highlights Chat GPT\u27s potential to meet students\u27 psychological needs and enhance perceived usefulness, both of which contribute to greater learning motivation. These theories suggest that by fostering autonomy, competence, and relevance through technology, Chat GPT can effectively support educational engagement. The study provides actionable insights for various stakeholders. For students, it recommends integrating Chat GPT more meaningfully into learning routines to boost motivation. Teachers are encouraged to promote the use of Chat GPT as a supportive tool for personalized learning and exploration. Future researchers are advised to explore the long-term impacts of Chat GPT on different aspects of academic performance and motivation across diverse student populations. These findings underscore Chat GPT’s value as an innovative educational tool, offering pathways to enrich student learning experiences and outcomes
Strategic Development and Sustainability of the Tourism Industry
This study used random sampling to select over 400 respondents who have experienced the strategic development and sustainability efforts in Davao City. The researcher applied Pearson\u27s r, T-test, and Mean test to analyze the data. Pearson’s r assessed the strength and significance of the relationship between strategic development and sustainability. The T-test was used to explore differences in perceptions based on demographics, while the Mean test helped determine if the data supported or rejected the hypothesis on sustainable tourism. The results underscore the importance of sustainable tourism in preserving local culture, biodiversity, natural resources, and the environment. Sustainable practices are essential for the long-term success of the tourism industry. The study recommends that stakeholders, including policymakers and businesses, adopt strategies that ensure the resilience of tourism sectors. It also highlights the need for tourism models that can adapt to global changes while promoting the well-being of both destinations and their communities
Exploring Lawmakers’ Perspectives in Implementing Environmental Conservation Efforts in Asuncion: A Phenomenological Study
This study examined the condition of environmental conservation efforts in Asuncion, focusing on the lived experiences, coping mechanisms, and insights of lawmakers involved in these initiatives. Employing a phenomenological approach, the study aimed to uncover the underlying forces shaping environmental governance in the municipality. Through in-depth interviews and focus group discussion, major findings reveal the diverse challenges faced by lawmakers, including experiencing disappointments due to unresponsive community, limited participation from the community, and encountering budget constraints in effective implementation of environmental conservation efforts. Despite these challenges, coping mechanisms such as handing down key responsibilities to barangays, being strict in giving sanctions, and strengthening stakeholders’ engagement emerge as effective strategies. These findings underscore the need for holistic, context-specific approaches to environmental governance. Furthermore, the study highlighted the importance of patience in conducting comprehensive environmental conservation (CEC) activities, the need for stricter implementation of CEC activities, use of equipment for better CEC implementation, digitalization and social media as tools for CEC efforts, and implementing innovation strengthens CEC initiatives in achieving sustainable environmental conservation outcomes. Conclusively, this study contributes constructive interpretations and recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers seeking to enhance environmental conservation efforts in the Municipality of Asuncion and similar contexts
Green Marketing Strategies as Predictors of Buying Intention Among the Generation Y Consumers
This study aimed to determine the relationship of green marketing strategies and buying intention among the Generation Y cohort, also known as millennials. Besides, the study also attempted to ascertain the influence of perceived green strategies on the buying intention of the said cohort. The study used the descriptive-correlational research method, wherein the researcher collected relevant information through a survey without manipulating or controlling the study subjects and the variables involved. This study involved 358 millennial consumers, aged 26-44, living in Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. The study used a random sampling method in determining the appropriate number of the study respondents. The level of green marketing strategies was reflected as high, while the buying intention of the respondents was interpreted as very high. Moreover, the study concluded that green marketing strategies has a weak, positive, and significant relationship to buying intention. Besides, regression analysis showed that only green price, an indicator of green marketing strategies, is identified as a significant predictor of buying intention. Thus, this study addressed the Sustainable Development Goal number 12, where responsible consumption and production were being highlighted. This research looks at the effects of eco-friendly marketing on the buying preferences of Generation Y
A path analysis of factors that influence acceptance of online food ordering systems among Davao City customers
This study examines the factors influencing the acceptance of online ordering systems among consumers in Davao City, focusing on the variables of personal IT innovativeness, social influence, user convenience, and system quality. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a theoretical framework, the research identifies how these factors affect perceived ease-of-use, perceived usefulness, and overall user attitudes toward online food ordering applications. A sample of 367 respondents, selected based on their use of online food ordering platforms such as GrabFood and FoodPanda, participated in this study. Path analysis was employed to determine the causal relationships between the independent variables and their impact on user acceptance. Results show that system quality and perceived usefulness are the most significant determinants of positive user attitudes, followed by social influence and personal IT innovativeness. The study reveals that users\u27 perception of ease and functionality plays a crucial role in fostering the adoption of these technologies, providing valuable insights for businesses looking to improve their online food ordering platforms. The findings also highlight the need for further technological and service improvements to enhance consumer satisfaction and long-term loyalty in the competitive online food delivery market
Blue Tourism Perspectives and Willingness to support among locals of Davao
The study aimed to assess the perspectives on blue tourism and the willingness of Davao locals to support it. To gather data, the researchers adapted and modified a questionnaire, which was then administered to 385 residents of Davao City. This research employed a descriptive correlation design, allowing the study to not only measure the levels of the two key variables—blue tourism perspectives and willingness to support—but also examine the correlation between them. The data were analyzed using the Mean and Pearson correlation coefficient (Pearson r). The results revealed that Davao locals have a highly positive perception of blue tourism. The community views blue tourism in the region as economically beneficial and environmentally sustainable. From a social perspective, locals believe that blue tourism is inclusive, ensuring that both residents and visitors are treated well without discrimination. Furthermore, Davao residents express strong enthusiasm for supporting the growth of blue tourism, with many showing a willingness to volunteer their time and resources to aid in the development of marine tourism or to advocate for it. A significant correlation was found between the locals\u27 positive perspectives on blue tourism and their willingness to support its growth. This suggests that the more favorable the perception of blue tourism, the greater the likelihood of locals actively engaging in its development and promotion

Ang pananaliksik na ito ay naglalayong makagawa ng isang pagsusuri sa iba’t ibang uri ng mga balbal na salitang nabubuo at ginagamit sa mga pampublikong lugar. Ang pananaliksik na ito ay ginamitan ng kwalitatibong pamamaraan gamit ang dulog na diskurso upang makagawa ng pagsusuri at pag-aanalisa sa 53 balbal na salita o terminolohiya bilang korpora na gagamitin sa pag-aaral na nakalap mula sa masusing pag-oobserba sa aspekto ng pakikipagkomunikasyon sa pampublikong lugar. Batay sa resulta, napag-alamang, una, mayroong siyam na morpolohikal na prosesong tampok sa pag-aaral, kabilang ang panghihiram, pagbabagong semantiko, pagpapaikli, pagbabaliktad, paggamit ng inisyalismo at acronym, pagpapalit pantig, tambalan ng mga salita, pagdaragdag at maramihang proseso o kumbinasyon. Ikalawa, ang bawat terminolohiyang balbal ay nagtataglay ng angking morpolohikal na katangian at kahulugan batay sa denotasyon at reperensyal na pagpapakahulugan ayon sa gamit ng salita sa lipunan
Foliar Application of Alpha-Naphthalene Acetic Acid (ANAA) and Inorganic Fertilizer on Yield and Yield Components of Visayan White Corn at Horticultural Maturity
Research on optimizing the use of fertilizers and plant growth regulators has become essential in the quest to increase agricultural output. The native Philippine maize variety known as Visayan white corn, or Tinigib, offers a chance to investigate these developments. Improper application techniques for growth regulators and inadequate fertilizer frequently make it difficult for farmers to maximize productivity. The challenge is finding the exact mixtures and dosages that can greatly improve crop production without suffering from negative side effects. This study aims to address this gap by evaluating the effect of foliar application of alpha-naphthalene acetic acid (ANAA) combined with inorganic fertilizer on the yield and yield attributes of Visayan white corn at horticultural maturity, employing a randomized complete block design with five (5) treatment and (3) replications. Results revealed that Treatment no. 2, composed of 20 ml ANAA and RR NPK, was concluded to yield the highest corn output, showcasing the efficacy of combining ANAA with inorganic fertilizer to enhance yield
Political Awareness and Political Involvement among Bachelor of Public Administration Students
This study investigates the correlation between political awareness and political involvement among first-year Bachelor of Public Administration students at Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences, and Technology (STCAST). Using a survey with 200 students, data was collected through a questionnaire adapted from Hermosa’s (2021) Political Awareness and Involvement Questionnaire. The results show a moderate positive correlation (r =.524, p < 0.001) between political awareness and involvement, meaning students who are more aware of politics are also more likely to participate in political activities. The average score for political awareness was 3.94 (SD =.57), while political involvement was lower at 3.44 (SD = 0.72), showing a gap between knowing about politics and taking part in it. These findings highlight how schools can help students become more engaged citizens by including more political education in their lessons and encouraging participation in community activities. Helping students bridge the gap between awareness and action can strengthen democracy and prepare them to be active members of society. This study adds to the discussion on youth political engagement and shows how education plays a big role in shaping the future of governance. Future studies should also investigate ways to encourage long-term political participation and compare results across different schools and student groups
The Effects of Local Tourist Food Consumption Value on Destination Image of Bigbang Park in Davao City
This study explored how local tourist food consumption impacts the image of BigBang Park as a food destination in Davao City. The food image of a destination plays a key role in attracting visitors, and the study aimed to understand how tourists perceive the local food offerings at BigBang Park and how these perceptions influence their food choices. The researchers used a descriptive approach, collecting data through a survey distributed to 384 local tourists within BigBang Park. The study focused on how factors like age, education, and marital status might influence the consumption value of food, and differences between these groups were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The findings showed a significant link between food consumption and the park\u27s destination image. Tourists value taste, quality, health, price, and emotional connection to the food, which affects their decision to visit. Additionally, factors like social interaction, prestige, and the desire for unique, local experiences were also important reasons for the park\u27s success as a food destination. These insights suggest that aligning food offerings with tourists\u27 preferences is crucial for enhancing BigBang Park’s image as a culinary hotspot
