    No full text
The article examines the main genre features of Kazakhstani writer Lilya Kalaus’s blogs, which have been published as a collection titled The Hieroglyph of Life, from the perspective of seriality. It explores how artistic genres are evolving under the influence of media space and adapting to new models of reader perception. These transformations are proposed to be directly linked to the broader cultural shifts driven by the internet. The theoretical significance of this study lies in its effort to analyse the genre of blogs through the lens of serial text, which carries unique aesthetic and ideological implications. The findings and material presented in this paper are intended to contribute to further research on literary cycles (serials), especially given the growing interest in this genre.

Ponašaju li se nogometaši održivo? Istraživačka studija usmjerena na mogućnosti i ograničenja održive potrošnje i odlaganja nogometnih kopački

Football is by far the most popular sport in the world. To pursue this passion, players need the right equipment. The most fundamental utensils needed are football boots. Which football boots are the right ones, every player decides for himself. This study aims to investigate how sustainable is such a football boot from consumption to disposal. Furthermore, the aim of this study is to identify if the idea of sustainability in general has already become established in football. The theoretical background is set by the scientific fields of sports, fast fashion and sustainable consumption. An explorative survey of football players of two amateur football clubs in Southern Germany was executed to generate an overview on purchasing and disposing behaviour concerning football boots. Results show, that players of both football clubs are not very sustainably oriented. The vast majority dispose of their football boots in the trash rather choosing sustainable options. Similarly, not enough attention is paid to environmentally friendly aspects such as sustainable packaging or ecological material when buying. Most players hardly pay attention to these criteria. They pay more attention to comfort criteria such as appearance or fit. This is also reflected in the respondents\u27 prioritization of sustainability. However, the majority of both clubs ensure a longer product life cycle through care and by using their foot-ball boots for a long time.

The aim of this study was to examine the occurrence of vocal fatigue in a group of teachers and to examine its possible connection with workload, i.e., inappropriate student behaviour and the need for professional recognition as sources of professional stress among these voice professionals. The study involved 74 participants (62 women and 12 men) aged 24 to 65 years – 40 of them employed in primary schools and 34 in secondary schools – who completed the Croatian version of the Vocal Fatigue Index (VFI-C) questionnaire and the Scale for Measuring Sources of Teacher Stress. The results showed the existence of a statistically significant positive correlation between the average results in all three categories of the VFI-C and all subscales of the Scale for Measuring Sources of Teacher Stress. A higher level of stress in teachers was associated with greater self-perceived presence of vocal fatigue symptoms. Compared to male teachers, female teachers reported statistically significantly higher stress caused by all observed sources and a higher overall experience of stress. This points to the importance of workload control and stress management in educational settings in reducing the risk of the occurrence of vocal fatigue symptoms among teachers, especially among female teachers.

Klima, Flora und Fauna, Lebensstil u. a. The main aim of the present paper is to compare flora and fauna phraseologismsin German, originating from the North European linguisticand cultural domain, with those from the Balkan region and to testthem in view of their motivational structure. To this effect, the IconicityHypothesis by Charles Sanders Peirce and the Theory of Prototypes byEleanor Rosch are taken into account. The ultimate objective is to enquirethe purpose behind the motivation and to attempt the followingquestions: a. Why is it so, that in German and in the North Europeanlinguistic and cultural domain, der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm(the apple does not fall far from the tree), while in the (South) Balkanlanguages- ‘the pear falls under the tree‘ - (e.g. крушата под крушапаѓа (Macedonian), крушка пада под крушку (South Serbian),dardha nёn dardhё bie (Albanian))? b. What is the reason for the factthat in German we have the phrase eine Schwalbe macht noch keinenSommer (one swallow does not make summer), while in the Balkanlinguistic and cultural domain - ‘a swallow does not make spring‘,(e.g. една ластовичка не прави пролет (Macedonian), jedna lastane čini proljeće (Croatian), једна ласта не чини пролеће (Serbian))?We based our hypothesis on the belief that the formation ofmotivated phraseological structures is shaped by universal iconic andculturally bounded prototypical aspects, e. g. climate, flora and fauna, lifestyle etc. The findings clearly demonstrate that the contrastive analysesof German and Balkan phraseologisms allow us to gain insightinto the iconic perspectivation and culturally bounded prototypicalisationof phraseologisms

Alterity and masked female writing in the travelogues of Karl Eduard Zachariä [von Lingenthal]

    No full text
It is unknown to a wider readership that the German lawyer and byzantinist Karl Eduard Zachariä [von Lingenthal] wrote two travelogues that were the result of his travels in Greece. The two trips had a time difference of forty years. This makes us expect a fruitful research ground for the investigation of the possible change and the transformation of the image of Athens, since Athens was the symbolic place of European imagination. In addition, we will deal with aspects of female writing, especially in the second book
