Abstract
This paper deals with the study of perfect intransitive verbs in the light of phonemic grammar. This is done by identifying the changes in the idiopathic triple verbs of the present tense verb and analysing the percentage of variable perfect triple verbs. This research is studied on the basis of the qualitative approach, that is, the inductive approach by studying data from the research and the dictionary. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher collected data by extracting verbs from the work of Al-Wadi (2004) and then searched for their present form from the intermediate dictionary, which are considered as the research sample. Then, he divided it into some sections by looking at its past tense, the type of fidelity of the past tense verb, the case of the proverb whether it was left or deleted in the present tense, and its present tense. The researcher came up with a percentage for each of the divisions. The result of the research indicates that most idiopathic triple verbs consist of the modal verb whose fatal verb is waw. And the verbs that are completed by the waw have a difference according to the case of the proverb between verbs on the form of a verb and a verb, that is, most of the verbs are in the verb form, the waw will be deleted. As for verbs in the verb, they remain Al-Waw. As for the verbs that the comma consists of the Al-Ya', all of them remain the Al-Ya' in the present tense and are not deleted
Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pembentukan Sahsiah Pelajar Tahfiz: The Factors Affecting Personality Development among Tahfiz Students
Abstrak
Penumpuan kepada pembangunan Modal Insan seperti yang digariskan dalam Wawasan Kemakmuran Bersama (WKB 2030) menunjukkan bahawa sahsiah merupakan perkara penting yang perlu diberi perhatian. Pembangunan modal insan merupakan suatu proses melahirkan jiwa yang bertakwa, dilengkapi dengan pembangunan jiwa, hati dan nurani bagi melahirkan insan yang mempunyai sifat keinsanannya. Bagi mencapai hasrat kerajaan tersebut, pelajar tahfiz yang cemerlang dan berkualiti, bukan sahaja perlu dinilai dari sudut kecemerlangan hafazan dan akademik. Malah, satu lagi kriteria yang perlu diberi perhatian adalah kecemerlangan dari sudut sahsiah pelajar itu sendiri. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan unutk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan sahsiah pelajar tahfiz. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif yang menjalankan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) ke atas 64 orang pelajar tahfiz di bawah naungan Persatuan Institusi Tahfiz Negeri Selangor (PITAS). Hasil dapatan kajian ditranskrip, ditemakan dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat empat faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan sahsiah pelajar tahfiz iaitu sokongan komunikasi ibu bapa, keterlibatan pelajar dalam program kerohanian, bimbingan guru dan pengaruh persekitaran. Secara keseluruhan, kajian ini mendapati bahawa komitmen dari pelajar tahfiz dan sokongan dari ibu bapa, guru dan persekitaran sangat diperlukan dalam melahirkan pelajar tahfiz yang berkualiti.
Abstract
The focus on the development of Human Capital as outlined in the Wawasan Kemakmuran Bersama (WKB 2030) shows that personality is an essential matter that needs to be addressed. The human capital development is a process of producing a pious soul, equipped with soul, heart and conscience development to produce human beings who have the nature of repentance. In order to achieve the government's aspirations, excellent and quality tahfiz students not only need to be evaluated in terms of memorization and academic excellence. In fact, another criterion that needs to be considered is excellence from the point of view of the student’s own personality. Therefore, this study aims to explain the factors influencing the personality formation of tahfiz students. This study employs a qualitative design via Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on 64 tahfiz students under the auspices of the Persatuan Institusi Tahfiz Negeri Selangor (PITAS). The findings of the study were transcribed, themed and analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that there are four factors influencing the development of tahfiz students' personality, namely parental communication support, student involvement in spiritual programs, teacher guidance and the environment influence. Overall, this study found that commitment from tahfiz students and support from parents, teachers and the environment are essential in producing quality tahfiz students
Peranan Bapa dalam Pengurusan Keluarga pada Era Pandemik Covid-19 : Analisis Daripada Perspektif Surah Luqman: The Role of The Father in Family Management in The Era Covid -19: Analysis from The Perspective of Surah Luqman
Sejak akhir tahun 2019 telah bermula pengesanan virus COVID-19 dan telah membawa kepada penularan wabak ini di seluruh dunia termasuklah Malaysia. Kesan penularan virus COVID-19 ini dilihat bukan sahaja kepada kesihatan, pendidikan dan pekerjaan, bahkan ia memberi kesan kepada kerukunan kekeluargaan. Jika sebelum ini, pertemuan sesama ahli keluarga pada waktu-waktu tertentu sahaja, tetapi akibat penularan wabak ini membawa kepada perlaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP), menyebabkan semua ahli keluarga berkumpul di dalam rumah dalam tempoh yang sangat lain. Ketepuan berada di rumah menyebabkan berlakunya pelbagai masalah sama ada dari sudut emosi, fikiran mahupun tingkahlaku. Justeru itu, objektif utama kajian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peranan bapa dalam pengurusan keluarga pada era pandemik COVID-19 di dalam surah Luqman. Ini kerana bapa adalah tonggak utama dalam memastikan keharmonian keluarga. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbentuk analisis kandungan. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif. Sampel kajian melibatkan ayat-ayat terpilih dalam surah Luqman. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat tiga elemen utama dalam pengurusan keluarga. Pertama; menjadi pemimpin yang amanah dalam keluarga. Kedua, pelindung yang bersifat rahmah. Ketiga, pendidik yang mendidik akhlak yang baik. Hasil kajian mendapati peranan bapa adalah sangat penting dalam memastikan keharmonian dan kesejahteraan keluarga terjaga di sepanjang era pandemik ini. Kajian sebegini sangat penting sebagai menambah kajian-kajian yang berbentuk pemeliharaan keluarga di era pandemik apatah lagi kajian ini menggunakan panduan wahyu sebagai sandaran.
Since the end of 2019, the detection of the COVID-19 virus has begun and has led to the spread of this epidemic throughout the world including Malaysia. The impact of the spread of the COVID-19 virus is seen not only on health, education, and employment but also in family harmony. If before, family members met at certain times only, but due to the spread of this epidemic, the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented, causing all family members to gather indoors in a very different period. Saturation at home causes various problems whether from an emotional, mental or behavioral point of view. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyze the role of fathers in family management in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic in Surah Luqman. This is because the father is the main pillar in ensuring family harmony. This study uses a qualitative approach in the form of content analysis. Data analysis uses a descriptive approach. The study sample involves selected verses in Surah Luqman. The findings of the study show that there are three main elements in family management. First; be a trusted leader in the family. Second, a merciful protector. Third, educators who educate good morals. The results of the study found that the role of the father is very important in ensuring the harmony and well-being of the family are maintained throughout this pandemic era. This kind of study is very important to add to the studies in the form of family preservation in the pandemic era, not to mention that this study uses revelation guidance as a backup
Keselarasan Teori Ketamadunan Ibn Khaldun dengan Konsep Keluarga Malaysia: The Conformity of Ibn Khaldun's Theory of Civilization with The Malaysian Family Concept
Ibn Khaldun merupakan ilmuan Islam yang tersohor yang digelar sebagai Bapa Ilmu Kemasyarakatan. Beliau amat terkenal dengan kitab karangannya berjudul Muqaddimah yang antaranya membincangkan konsep berkaitan perkembangan dan kesejahteraan sesebuah tamadun. Objektif kajian ini ialah untuk mengkaji dan membincangkan tentang keselarasan teori ketamadunan yang utarakan oleh Ibn Khaldun dengan konsep Keluarga Malaysia yang menjadi aspirasi negara Malaysia masa kini. Metodologi kajian ini terdiri daripada kajian berbentuk kualitatif dan analisis dokumen terhadap kitab Muqaddimah Ibn Khaldun. Kajian ini cuba meneliti dan menghubungkan tiga nilai teras iaitu keterangkuman, kebersamaan dan kesyukuran termasuklah nilai-nilai di bawah tiga teras berkenaan seperti budaya integriti, amanah, keadilan, bermusyawarah, budaya ilmu, komunikasi berhemah, sikap tanggungjawab, ihsan, saling membantu, memelihara maruah keluarga, sabar, beriman, membudayakan amalan sihat fizikal dan mental, mengekalkan tradisi kekeluargaan, kasih sayang, hormat dan taat dengan teori ‘asabiyyah, ‘umran dan malakah yang diutarakan oleh Ibn Khaldun. Dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa konsep 'Keluarga Malaysia' yang bermotifkan agar rakyat dapat menerima persamaan dan perbezaan berdasarkan nilai dan ciri Keluarga Malaysia yang bersifat inklusif merentasi sempadan agama, bangsa dan kaum serta mengajak seluruh rakyat Malaysia untuk bersama-sama berusaha ke arah kemajuan dan kesejahteraan hidup sebagai sebuah keluarga yang utuh sangat adalah amat bertepatan dengan teori ketamadunan yang diutarakan oleh Ibn Khaldun dalam kitab Muqaddimah khususnya melalui teori ‘asabiyyah, ‘umran dan malakah. Kajian ini memberi impak dari segi memberikan sokongan terhadap usaha kerajaan Malaysia dalam menyuburkan perpaduan rakyat Malaysia yang berbilang bangsa dan agama menerusi konsep Keluarga Malaysia.
Ibn Khaldun is a famous Muslim scholar who is well known as the Father of Social Sciences. He is very famous for his book entitled Muqaddimah, which discusses concepts related to the development and well-being of a civilization. The objective of this research is to examine and discuss the conformity of the theory of civilization put forward by Ibn Khaldun with the concept of the Malaysian Family which is the aspiration of the country today. The methodology of this study consists of a qualitative study and document analysis of a book entitled Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun. This study tries to examine and connect three core values ??such as inclusiveness, togetherness, and gratitude, including the values ??under these three cores such as a culture of integrity, trust, justice, deliberation, knowledge culture, prudent communication, an attitude of responsibility, courtesy, helping each other, preserving family dignity, patience, belief, cultivate healthy physical and mental practices, maintain family traditions, love, respect, and obedience. The finding reveals that the Malaysian Family concept is inspired by the aspiration to ensure that the multi-ethnic group in Malaysia can accept similarities and differences based on the values ??and characteristics of the Malaysian Family, inclusive across the boundaries of religion and race as it encourages all citizens to come together and strive towards the progress and well-being of all Malaysian as one big family, is very much in line with the theory of civilization expressed by Ibn Khaldun in his Muqaddimah, especially through the theory of 'asabiyyah, 'umran and malakah. This study has an impact on supporting the Malaysian government’s initiative to foster unity among multi-racial and multi-religious Malaysians through the Malaysian Family concept
Komitmen Guru dalam Pelaksanaan E-Pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam: Teachers’s Commitment in Implementing Islamic Education E-Learning
Konsep pembelajaran secara dalam talian merupakan pendekatan baharu dalam pengendalian proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran di institusi pendidikan di Malaysia. Konsep ini mengimplimentasikan pembelajaran elektronik atau e-pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komputer dan jaringan komputer atau internet. E-pembelajaran membolehkan pendekatan pengajaran yang bertumpu kepada guru diubah kepada pembelajaran berpusatkan murid. Guru yang komited perlu sentiasa memastikan objektif pengajaran dan pembelajaran dapat dicapai dengan sepenuhnya, walaupun kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui medium e-pembelajaran. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk membincangkan kepentingan komitmen guru dalam pelaksanaan e-pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam. Oleh itu, kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan berbentuk konseptual dengan menganalisis kajian-kajian lepas daripada buku-buku, jurnal-jurnal dan sumber lain yang relevan. Hasil daripada analisis terhadap kajian-kajian lepas menunjukkan bahawa guru Pendidikan Islam kurang persediaan dan kemahiran berkaitan teknologi dalam pendidikan walaupun telah diberi kursus yang berkaitan namun, sebelum ini ia hanya sebagai pelengkap proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Beberapa isu yang timbul semasa pelaksanaan e-pembelajaran dalam kalangan guru Pendidikan Islam iaitu motivasi, sikap, kemahiran dan kesediaan guru turut dibincangkan. Justeru, kajian ini memberikan beberapa cadangan untuk memperkukuhkan komitmen guru dalam memastikan matlamat pelaksanaan e-pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam tercapai. Impak kajian ini kepada guru-guru Pendidikan Islam agar meningkatkan kompetensi dalam menghadapi pendidikan di era baru ini, dengan meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativiti dalam memanfaatkan e-pembelajaran. Hal ini kerana komitmen guru dan sikap guru pendidikan Islam memainkan peranan besar dalam meningkatkan kecemerlangan prestasi akademik pelajar dan juga pembentukan sahsiah pelajar.
The concept of online learning is a new approach in administrating the teaching and learning process in Malaysian educational institutions. This concept requires the implementation of electronic learning or e-learning by utilizing computer technology and its network or the internet itself. E-learning enables the changing of teaching approaches from teacher-centred to student-centred learning. A committed teacher must constantly ensure that the teaching and learning objectives are achieved, even though the teaching and learning method is executed through the e-learning platform. The objective of this research is to discuss on the importance of the teacher's commitment in implementing Islamic E-learning Education. Therefore, this research is custom to literature review method as well as conceptual method by analysing the preceding studies from books, journals and other relevant sources. The result of the analyses on the previous studies shows that Islamic Education teachers are not well verse in skills related to technology in education despite having been provided with necessary training, as it was assumed to be part of the accompaniment in teaching and learning process earlier. The finding of the study shows that there are few issues identified among the Islamic Education teachers during the implementation of e-learning; which are motivation, attitude, skills and teacher readiness are also being brought to the discussion. Therefore, this study provides few proposals to strengthen the teacher's commitment in ensuring the objective of Islamic E-learning Education is accomplished. The impact of this study on Islamic Education teachers is to enhance their competency in dealing with education in this new era, by improving their competencies and creativity while exploiting e-learning. This is because the teacher’s commitment and the attitude of the Islamic education teacher play a significant role in enhancing the student's excellent in academic performance as well as the development of the student’s personality

Abstrak
Warga emas berhadapan dengan pelbagai keuzuran dan terdedah dengan masalah kesihatan, sama ada fizikal dan mental. Lagi meningkat usia, lagi bertambah risiko kepada pertambahan masalah yang akhirnya boleh menyebabkan kehidupan mereka terganggu dan terabai. Untuk mencapai kehidupan yang baik dan sejahtera, mereka memerlukan sokongan sosial tetapi ia mungkin berbeza-beza antara individu bergantung kepada jenis, tahap dan kekuatan masalah yang dihadapi. Tujuan artikel ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti sumber sokongan sosial bagi membantu kehidupan warga emas. Artikel ini menggunakan metodologi kajian kualitatif berasaskan kepada ulasan terhadap kajian lalu tentang sokongan sosial untuk warga emas. Dapatan dari kajian lalu merumuskan bahawa sokongan sosial ini boleh didapati dari empat sumber iaitu dirinya sendiri menerusi amalan kerohanian, kemudian dari keluarga, masyarakat dan kerajaan. Sokongan dari diri sendiri untuk mengukuhkan jiwa mereka dan menjauhkan dari kesunyian boleh diperoleh menerusi kepercayaan kepada Tuhan, amalan ritual dan amalan mulia. Sokongan dari keluarga membolehkan mereka mendapat perhatian dari sudut emosi dan penjagaan fizikal yang boleh diperoleh menerusi komunikasi dengan ahli keluarga, hubungan yang akrab serta penjagaan yang rapi. Sokongan dari masyarakat membolehkan mereka beraktiviti dan menguruskan masa lapang menerusi komunikasi dengan masyarakat, hubungan yang mesra dan penglibatan aktif. Manakala sokongan dari kerajaan pula membolehkan mereka mendapat bantuan dan kemudahan menerusi aspek kewangan dan infrastruktur yang mencukupi. Artikel ini menyediakan asas kepada kajian berikutnya untuk mengangkat sokongan ini menerusi media sosial yang sangat luas digunakan pada masa ini.
Abstract
The elderly face various types of illnesses and are prone to health issues, both physical and mental. The older they get, the more likely they are to have problems that will lead to their lives being neglected and disregarded. To achieve a good and prosperous life, they need social support, but it may vary between individuals depending on the type, level, and strength of the problem. The purpose of this article is to discuss sources of social support for the elderly. This paper uses a qualitative research method based on a review of previous studies on social support for the elderly. Findings from previous studies conclude that this social support can be obtained from four sources, namely oneself through spiritual practice, then from family, community, and government. Self-support to strengthen their souls and keep them away from silence can be obtained through faith in God, ritual practices, and noble practices. Support from the family allows them to receive emotional attention and physical care, which can be gained through conversation with family members, close relationships, and attentive care. Through engagement with the community, good relationships, and active involvement, they can be active and manage their leisure time. Meanwhile, support from the government through adequate financial and infrastructure aspects enables them to receive assistance and use good facilities. All the above sources of social support need to be communicated to them in an integrated manner to ensure that they can enjoy life well and comfortably at the end of life. This research provides the groundwork for future studies aimed at increasing this support through social media for elderly, which is now widely used
Perlaksanaan Amalan Pembelajaran Tahfiz di Institusi Tahfiz Sabah: Implementation of Tahfiz Learning Practices In Sabah Tahfiz Institution
Kajian ini membincangkan perlaksanaan amalan pembelajaran tahfiz yang diaplikasikan oleh pelajar-pelajar tahfiz di Negeri Sabah. Metodologi kajian ini adalah berbentuk metode campuran antara kajian kualitatif dan kuantitatif iaitu menggunakan tinjauan soal temu bual dan pengedaran soal selidik untuk mendapatkan data kajian. Kajian ini melibatkan seramai 15 orang informan bagi mendapatkan data kualitattif manakala 76 orang responden pula akan menjawab data kuantitatif. Analisis data tematik bagi menjelaskan data kualitatif manakala data kuantitatif dilaporkan secara statistik deskriptif untuk mengenalpasti amalan pembelajaran pelajar-pelajar tahfiz di Sabah. Bagi menentukan dapatan kajian, data telah dianalisis menggunakan min bagi mengenalpasti tahap amalan tersebut. Hasil dapatan kajian menemukan bahawa tahap kesuluruhan amalan pembelajaran tahfiz adalah berada pada tahap sangat tinggi iaitu dengan min 4.21. Ini menunjukkan bahawa amalan pembelajaran tahfiz di Institusi Tahfiz di Sabah berada pada tahap yang sangat tinggi sesuai dengan respon yang diberikan oleh para pelajar terhadap soalan-soalan yang ditanyakan kepada mereka. Manakala hasil dapatan kajian melalui kajian kualitatif pula menjelaskan bahawa terdapat beberapa perkara yang perlu dilaksanakan dalam amalan pembelajaran tahfiz antaranya ialah proses pembelajaran pusat tahfiz, teknik hafazan berkesan bagi pelajar, laporan mingguan hafalan pelajar tahfiz, ganjaran yang diberikan oleh institusi tahfiz dan hukuman yang dikenakan kepada para pelajar.
This study discusses the implementation of tahfiz learning practices applied by tahfiz students in Sabah. The methodology of this study is in the form of a mixed method between qualitative and quantitative research that is using survey interview questions and distribution of questionnaires to obtain research data. This study involved a total of 15 informants to obtain qualitative data while 76 respondents will answer a set of questionnaires to gather quantitative data. Thematic data analysis to explain the qualitative data while the quantitative data is reported by descriptive statistics to identify the learning practices of tahfiz students in Sabah. To determine the findings of the study, data were analysed using mean to identify the level of practice. The results of the study found that the overall level of tahfiz learning practice is at a very high level with a mean of 4.21. This shows that the practice of learning tahfiz at the Tahfiz Institution in Sabah is at a very high level in accordance with the responses given by students to the questions asked to them. While the results of the study through qualitative research also explains that there are several things that need to be implemented in the practice of learning tahfiz such as the learning process of tahfiz center, effective memorization techniques for students, weekly memorization report of tahfiz students, rewards given by Tahfiz institutions and punishments imposed on students
Etika Islam dalam Membina Peradaban Manusia yang Cemerlang: Islamic Ethics in Building an Excellent Human Civilization
Etika Islam adalah sinonim dengan adab. Adab didefinisikan sebagai sifat yang tertanam dalam jiwa seseorang dan perbuatan lahir daripadanya dengan mudah tanpa memerlukan pertimbangan fikiran terlebih dahulu. Asas etika Islam adalah bersumberkan sumber ketuhanan (dalil naqli) iaitu al-Quran dan al-Hadith. Dalam masa yang sama, Islam turut mengiktiraf sumber kemanusiaan (dalil `aqli) yang terdiri daripada taakulan akal, naluri dan juga pengalaman manusia. Namun, akal, naluri dan pengalaman ini mestilah digunakan dengan bimbingan wahyu al-Qur’an dan al-Hadith itu sendiri. Kombinasi sumber ketuhanan dan sumber kemanusiaan ini menghasilkan etika Islam yang mantap bagi mendasari segala aktiviti kehidupan manusia. Metodologi penulisan ini adalah berasaskan kepada kajian kepustakaan dan analisa maklumat yang diperolehi melalui kajian-kajian lepas. Kajian ini membahaskan tentang pengertian etika Islam menurut al-Quran dan as-Sunnah dan kepentingannya dalam pembinaan peradaban manusia. Seterusnya hasil kajian ini merumuskan kepada empat impak utama dalam pembinaan peradaban manusia iaitu dari sudut pemikiran yang positif, tingkah laku yang baik, kerohanian yang sempurna dan identiti yang kukuh. Dapatan kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan ilmu terhadap pembinaan etika Islam yang berkesan bagi membina peradaban manusia yang cemerlang.
Islamic ethics is synonymous with manners. Adab is defined as a trait that is embedded in a person's soul and actions arise from it easily without needing to consider the mind beforehand. The basis of Islamic ethics is sourced from divine sources (dalil naqli) which are al-Quran and al-Hadith. At the same time, Islam also recognizes human resources (dalil `aqli) which consists of reason, instinct and human experience. However, this intellect, instinct and experience must be used with the guidance of the revelation of the Qur'an and the Hadith itself. This combination of divine resources and humanitarian resources produces a solid Islamic ethic to underpin all activities of human life. The methodology of this writing is based on literature research and analysis of information obtained through past studies. This study debates the meaning of Islamic ethics according to the Qur'an and Sunnah and its importance in the construction of human civilization. Next, the results of this study summarize four main impacts in the construction of human civilization, namely from the point of view of positive thinking, good behavior, perfect spirituality and a strong identity.The findings of this study are expected to contribute knowledge to the construction of effective Islamic ethics to build an excellent human civilization.
 
Tema Kemiskinan dalam Novel Bidayah Wa Nihayah dan Ranjau Sepanjang Jalan: Analisis Perbandingan: Theme of Poverty in The Novel Bidayah Wa Nihayah and Mines along The Road: A Comparative Analysis
Kajian ini membincangkan tema kemiskinan dalam dua buah novel pilihan iaitu novel Bidayah wa Nihayah (BWN) yang ditulis oleh Naj?b Mahf?z pemenang hadiah nobel kesusasteraan pada tahun 1988 yang berasal dari Mesir dan Novel Ranjau Sepanjang Jalan (RSJ) hasil karya Sasterawan Negara Shahnon Ahmad. Kajian ini menyentuh tentang tema kemiskinan dengan menggunakan teori perbandingan tematik. Reka bentuk penyelidikan kualitatif dipilih untuk menjawab objektif kajian melalui kaedah kajian teks analisis perbandingan tematik dan kajian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat beberapa persamaan tentang tema kemiskinan diantara kedua-dua novel, diantaranya yang paling ketara ialah jalinan plot cerita yang bermula dengan mehnah kematian (BWN) dan ditimpa penyakit busung (RSJ) kepada ketua kedua-dua keluarga. Permulaan dan penutup kepada plot juga bermula dan berakhir dengan tragis iaitu membunuh diri (BWN) dan gila yang tidak sembuh (RSJ).
This study discusses the theme of poverty in two selected novels, namely the novel Bidayah wa Nihayah (BWN) written by Naj?b Mahf?z, winner of the Nobel prize for literature in 1988 from Egypt, and the novel Ranjau Sepanjang Jalan (RSJ) by National Literary Author Shahnon Ahmad. This study touches on the theme of poverty by using thematic comparative theory. A qualitative research design was chosen to answer the research objectives through textual analysis, thematic comparative analysis and literature review. The results of the research show that there are some similarities about the theme of poverty between the two novels, among which the most significant is the interweaving of the story plot that begins with death (BWN) and dysentery (RSJ) to the heads of both families. The beginning and end of the plot also begins and ends tragically with suicide (BWN) and incurable madness (RSJ)

The objective of this study is to show the Islamic concepts contained in the story of ‘Rimpa’. These concepts are presented through the events in this story. Various questions arise about what this concept means, its way of presentation and the presentation of the story that the reader wishes to convey to the reader. The methodology of this study is based on an inductive study based on these concepts. This understanding is based on the Qur'anic arguments and the Prophetic Hadiths. The presentation of these concepts has been presented in the original Malay text, translated into Arabic, and then linked to the evidence and position of the witness. The findings of this study show that the story contains five concepts, the goal of the story, and what took it as a critic which highlight the story of Malay Islamic mastery
