    No full text
This study aims to develop an internship model based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum tailored to the needs of higher education institutions. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the INOBEL (Integrative Outcome-Based Education for Learning Outcomes) development model, which includes stages such as needs exploration, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. INOBEL was reconstructed from established models such as Borg and Gall, ADDIE, 4D, Dick and Carey, and DBR. The subjects involved in this study included students, academic supervisors, and industry partners. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the OBE-based internship model met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in enhancing students' soft skills and hard skills. It also fostered collaboration between universities and industries, producing tangible outputs such as internship reports, scientific journals, or products eligible for intellectual property rights (HaKI). The study recommends disseminating the model among academic supervisors and implementing it more broadly within higher education institutions.&nbsp

    No full text
This research aims to analyze the need for the development of geophysics learning media in universities, especially in the context of relevance to technological developments and environmental issues. The method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation and distribution of questionnaires to lecturers and students at two universities that hold geophysics courses. The results of the study show that learning outcomes at both campuses still focus on basic competencies, such as understanding geophysical concepts, practicum skills, and field data analysis. However, new competencies related to the application of technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and big data have not been explicitly accommodated. In terms of learning media, the use of reference books dominated (40%), followed by presentation slides (27%), learning videos (20%), and teaching aids (13%), which showed the tendency to use conventional media. In addition, the integration of geophysics learning materials with environmental issues is still low, with only 33% integrated and 67% not integrated. These findings show the need for the development of geophysics learning media that is more interactive, contextual, and adaptive to technological developments and global challenges. This research provides an important basis for curriculum innovation and the development of learning media that support 21st century learning outcomes

    No full text
Effective and transparent public service is a key indicator of good governance, especially in the education sector. Initial findings revealed that the administrative services at the Takalar District Education Office were still manual, unintegrated, and lacked accessible information. This study aims to develop a centralized, transparent, and easily accessible public service system available on web platforms. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with development stages synthesized from various instructional models, including ADDIE, 4D, Borg and Gall, Prototyping, and Dick & Carey. The stages included needs analysis, system design, prototype development, expert validation, user testing, and limited implementation. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to administrative staff and teachers. The final product was administrative service system website. System evaluation based on ISO/IEC 25010 demonstrated validity across all standards aspects: functionality, efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. Based on the development and testing software results confirm that the system is functional, user-friendly, and effective as a digital public service solution for improving administrative performance in the education sector

Creating Augmented Reality Teaching Materials to Support a Local Wisdom-Based Curriculum in Secondary Schools

    No full text
Teaching materials that integrate Augmented Reality for developing teaching and learning based on local wisdom in secondary schools are highly important. Students gain access to learning about their local wisdom, supporting the implementation of the curriculum. However, the lack of teaching materials to support the implementation of this core curriculum becomes a major obstacle for teachers. The method of this research utilizes a descriptive qualitative research method with the implementation of the conceptual framework by Freeman (1998). Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, and questionnaires from 130 students. Teachers, art practitioners, and students in Toraja city, South Sulawesi Province, are the samples of this research. The research results show that; (1) Teaching materials are incomplete, such as videos being unavailable; (2) Artwork dimensions dominate the conceptual framework analysis, while in the four frames analysis, both subjectivity and structural aspects appear frequently ; (3) Questionnaires show an average of 3.00 in students' recent understanding of their cultural wisdom ; (4) This research provides six steps to create Augmented Reality. Implementing Augmented Reality is beneficial for both teachers and students. It provides learning opportunities that support the implementation of the curriculum based on local wisdom

Economic Barriers to Educational Access: A Literature Review

    No full text
Economic barriers are one of the primary factors affecting access to and the quality of education in Indonesia. Income inequality leads to disparities in educational opportunities, with students from lower-income families facing significant limitations in accessing adequate educational services. This study aims to examine the relationship between economic factors and educational access in Indonesia through a literature review approach. The findings reveal that financial constraints impact school affordability, availability of learning facilities, and students’ motivation to pursue higher levels of education. Although the government allocates 20% of the national budget to education, its distribution and utilization remain uneven. Therefore, more inclusive policies are needed, such as expanding scholarship programs, reducing education costs, and improving educational infrastructure in underdeveloped regions. Collaboration among the government, communities, and the private sector is essential to ensure equitable and high-quality access to education. These efforts are expected to contribute to the development of a more competitive and globally capable human resource base
