The Influence of Transformational Leadership and Self-Sufficiency on Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance
This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership and self-reliance on employee job satisfaction and performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) as the main analysis technique. The research population includes all employees, with purposive sampling used to select respondents who meet the research criteria. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire designed to measure transformational leadership, independence, job satisfaction, and employee performance. The findings show that transformational leadership has a significant and positive influence on job satisfaction and employee performance. Similarly, independence has a significant positive impact on job satisfaction and performance, indicating that employees who have greater self-confidence, autonomy, and independence tend to perform better and experience higher job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between transformational leadership, autonomy, and performance outcomes. This highlights the importance of leaders who can inspire, motivate, and empower employees while fostering an independent and responsible work culture. The study concludes that developing transformational leadership practices and enhancing employee self-sufficiency are crucial strategies to improve organizational productivity and service quality in public institutions. The practical implications emphasize the need for managerial policies that promote supportive leadership behavior, employee empowerment, and continuous capability development to achieve optimal performance and sustainable organizational growth
Determinants of Retirement Financial Planning, Asset Ownership, and Economic Pressure on the Wellbeing of Post-Retirement Households, Moderated by Financial Literacy (survey of post-retirement households in Surakarta)
Post-Post-retirement family welfare is something that everyone wants after the completion of their retirement period. This is because a person's income at this time is different from their productive age when they were still working. To be able to realize retirement welfare, long preparation is needed, since a person is still at a productive working age. The driving factors include financial planning in old age, asset ownership, and economic pressure. These findings emphasize the importance of retention strategies, transparent reward systems, needs-based training, and a collaborative work culture to improve employee loyalty and performance. This study has practical implications for HR management in the retail sector and enriches academic studies. Future studies are recommended to involve a wider range of respondents and incorporate quantitative methods for more representative results
Digital Transformation in MSMEs: A Systematic Review of E- Commerce Implementation Challenges and Opportunities
The growing pressures of a knowledge-based economy have made digital transformation increasingly essential for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Responding to this need, the present study reviews existing literature on how MSMEs implement digital marketing and e-commerce, with attention to their strategic approaches, the obstacles they encounter, and the performance outcomes associated with digital adoption. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of fifteen peer-reviewed publications from 2020 to 2025—most of which examine MSMEs in developing nations, especially Indonesia—the study identifies clear benefits of digital tools in enhancing competitiveness, innovation, and organizational resilience. However, these gains depend heavily on adequate digital literacy, capable human resources, and institutional preparedness. Persistent challenges include financial limitations, weak technological understanding, and insufficient skills development, though government initiatives, training programs, and ecosystem collaborations offer partial solutions. Evidence from Bangladesh and Jordan further supports the view that e-commerce, when paired with innovation capacity and strategic orientation, can improve MSME performance beyond domestic markets. Overall, the review emphasizes that narrowing the digital divide requires more than simply adopting new technologies; it entails fostering an innovation mindset, aligning multi-sector policies, and ensuring sustained capacity building to strengthen MSME competitiveness in the digital era
The Impact of Tourism Development on Gender Role Transformation and Fisherfolk Welfare in Sanur, Bali
Tourism development in Sanur has reshaped the economic and social dynamics of coastal fishing communities. This study analyzes how tourism influences gender role transformation and the welfare of fisher households using a quantitative design with survey data from 120 respondents. Multiple regression results show that tourism significantly contributes to livelihood diversification and increases women’s participation in income-generating activities such as small trading, culinary services, and tourism support services. These changes positively affect household welfare, with livelihood diversification acting as a key mediating factor. However, the shift in gender roles remains limited, as cultural norms continue to restrict women’s involvement in major household decisions. The findings highlight that while tourism enhances economic resilience, it does not automatically create gender equality. Therefore, gender-inclusive policies, training access, and support for women’s entrepreneurial activities are essential to ensure that tourism growth leads to more equitable and sustainable welfare outcomes in coastal communitie
The Effect The Effect of Product Differentiation and Customer Relationship on the Increase in Organic Fertilizer Sales in Sidoarjo Regency

A quantitative approach was applied through a survey involving 120 participants, namely farmers and organic fertilizer traders in the area. Sample selection was carried out by stratified random sampling technique. Information collection was carried out through a questionnaire, then processed using multiple linear regression analysis with the support of SPSS software version 25. The findings of the study revealed that product differentiation had a significant positive effect on the increase in organic fertilizer sales, with a coefficient of 0.458 (p<0.05). Similarly, customer relationships showed a significant positive impact on the increase in sales, with a coefficient of 0.412 (p<0.05). Simultaneously, product differentiation and customer relationships contributed significantly to the increase in organic fertilizer sales, with a percentage of 71.6% (R² = 0.716), while the remaining 28.4% were influenced by external variables that had not yet been explored. The Influence of Investor Sentiment and Market Uncertainty on the Volatility of Gold Sector Stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
This study aims to analyze the influence of investor sentiment and market uncertainty on the volatility of gold sector stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Although gold stocks are often perceived as a hedging asset, stock price fluctuations in this sector exhibit relatively high volatility, especially during periods of market uncertainty. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design and utilizes secondary data in the form of panel data. The research sample consists of gold sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2015–2024 period, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Stock volatility is measured using the standard deviation of stock returns, investor sentiment is proxied by the stock trading activity indicator, and market uncertainty is measured using the market volatility indicator. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with a fixed effects approach, accompanied by testing for moderating effects. The results show that investor sentiment has a positive and significant effect on gold sector stock volatility. Furthermore, market uncertainty also has a positive effect on stock volatility and is proven to strengthen the influence of investor sentiment on gold sector stock volatility. These findings support the behavioral finance perspective that emphasizes the role of non-fundamental factors in stock market dynamics. This research provides an empirical contribution in enriching the behavioral finance literature in the context of emerging markets and provides practical implications for investors, issuers, and regulators in managing capital market risk and stability
