Marital infidelity among married women has become an intractable issue with significant social, emotional, and economic implications. Studies investigating marital infidelity have produced varied results. Therefore, this study examines the predictability of personality traits and financial well-being on marital fidelity among married women in Ibadan, Nigeria. Cross-sectional survey design was adopted while purposive sampling technique was used to select Ibadan North Local Government Area (LGA). Data were collected from 400 married women using validated questionnaires and analyzed using zero-correlation and hierarchical multiple regression analysis to one test hypothesis which was accepted at p <.01 level of significance. The results revealed that personality traits and financial well-being interacted to predict marital infidelity among study participants [R2 = .17, F(5, 349) = 14.39, p < .01]. Further results revealed that all the components of personality traits independently predicted marital infidelity. However, financial well-being did not independently predict marital infidelity. The study concludes that personality traits and the interaction of financial well-being are significantly predictors of marital infidelity among study participants. Get PDF
This research aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support (POS) on job insecurity and to examine the role of job involvement as a moderating variable in that relationship among non-permanent government employees (PPNPN) in a provincial government organization in Jambi, Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 75 respondents through total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research results indicate that POS (Perceived Organizational Support) and job involvement are in the high category, while job insecurity is in the low category. However, POS does not have a significant effect on job insecurity, and job involvement does not moderate the relationship between them. These findings suggest that in the context of government bureaucracy, job security is more determined by structural systems and policies rather than psychological factors. This research implies that organizational support needs to be complemented by contract transparency and institutional policies to create job stability for contract employees

The support of economic models to a country’s economic agenda and vice versa is not well defined in most developing economies. However, some empirical findings suggest that with commercially viable avenues and practical economic models, sector-led economic and social development could be stimulated by adopted economic models. This study identifies the impact of bottoms up economic models on the Kenyan development trajectory. The five pillar industries: agriculture, industry, housing, healthcare and MSME are used as variables of results. Discussions on the bottoms up and top down models are employed. The period (2023-2025) is used for analytical discussion. With a response rate of 60% from the targeted 28275 households, the results show that although resources distributed through BETA model were stimulants to the five pillars, sectoral specific initiatives incorporating aspects of top down approaches were vital. The study further shows that resource and output of the BETA agenda were affected by time lags. The study recommends that the government could adopt a blended model specific for the different sectors and industry within the pillars and promote effective management of STIIR as this had a positive multiplier effect on all the pillar
