Data collection was carried out on permanent lecturers at Abdurachman Saleh University Situbondo with a population of 95 permanent lecturers and for the use of samples using saturated samples, namely 95 respondents. The data was analyzed by calculating the Partial Least Square (PLS) structural equation system/model from the results of the calculation of the direct effect hypothesis using the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The results of research testing show that (1) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (3) Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (4) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on performance, (5) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, (6) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on performance, (7) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance, (8) Discipline has a positive but insignificant effect on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable, (9) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. and (10) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable for permanent lecturers at Abdurachman Saleh University Situbondo

    Get PDF
This study aims to examine the influence of remote work flexibility on job satisfaction and turnover intention among permanent lecturers at the Institute of Technology and Business (IT&B) Medan. Lecturer turnover remains a pressing concern that undermines academic continuity and the overall quality of higher education. Adopting a quantitative approach, the research employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and involved a full population of permanent faculty members through a saturated sampling technique. The results reveal that remote work flexibility positively and significantly affects job satisfaction as well as turnover intention. Conversely, job satisfaction was found to have a negative yet statistically insignificant effect on turnover intention. These findings indicate that while remote flexibility enhances satisfaction, it may also increase the likelihood of lecturers seeking alternative career opportunities. The study offers practical recommendations for university leadership in developing flexible work arrangements that foster satisfaction while preserving institutional loyalty and long-term retention

This study is to investigate the role of emotional intelligence as a moderator variable among maternity clinic nurses in Malang Regency, as well as the impact of workload and burnout on job stress. With the WarpPLS-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method, a quantitative approach is taken. The study's findings indicate that work stress is significantly impacted negatively by workload and burnout. These results suggest that workload and burnout may actually reduce stress in some situations rather than increasing it, either as a result of coping strategies or the belief that work is a kind of devotion. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that emotional intelligence moderates the association between work stress and burnout, with those who possess higher emotional intelligence typically being better equipped to handle the effects of burnout. Get PDF
This study examines the influence of business cycles and macroeconomic conditions on the financial performance of banking companies in Indonesia, with particular attention to how financial ratios such as Return on Equity (ROE), Price-to-Earnings Ratio (PER), and Price-to-Book Value (PBV) inform investment decision-making. Covering the period from 2019 to 2023, this research addresses capital market dynamics shaped by shifts in domestic economic policy, global macroeconomic volatility, and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings reveal that economic uncertainty and fluctuating business cycles contribute to increased market volatility, which in turn impacts the valuation of banking sector stocks. Moreover, while a high PER may indicate investor optimism regarding future earnings, it also poses the risk of overvaluation. These insights underscore the importance of a comprehensive understanding of financial ratios in making prudent investment decisions under conditions of market instability. This study contributes to the literature by offering practical implications for investors and policymakers navigating Indonesia's evolving financial landscape
