    No full text
Coffee cultivation is an agricultural sector that requires a scientific approach to increase productivity and efficiency. The use of mathematics in agricultural management is still rarely applied systematically, even though various studies show that number-based analysis can help optimize resources. The integration of mathematical concepts in coffee farming can be a solution in facing the challenges of climate change and crop yield uncertainty. This research aims to examine how the application of mathematics can increase efficiency in cultivating coffee plants. The main focus of this research is quantitative analysis of water management, fertilizer distribution, and crop yield predictions based on mathematical models. This study also assesses the impact of using calculation methods on farmers' economic stability and environmental sustainability. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and case studies on several coffee farming groups in Indonesia. Data was obtained through direct observation, interviews, and statistical analysis of production patterns and crop distribution. Simple mathematical models are used to measure the effectiveness of irrigation planning, fertilizer application, and crop stock management. The research results show that farmers who apply a mathematics-based approach experience an increase in productivity of up to 20% compared to traditional methods. More efficient resource management also has an impact on reducing operational costs and increasing resilience to external factors such as weather and market price fluctuations. Integration of prediction models helps farmers make more precise decisions regarding planting and harvest times. This research concludes that the application of mathematics in coffee farming contributes to increasing efficiency, environmental sustainability and farmer welfare. Education and training regarding calculation-based methods are important steps to expand the application of this strategy. Further studies are needed to develop more complex models with the integration of digital technology to increase the precision of analysis in coffee cultivation

    No full text
Due to the significant impact and contribution of vocational education and training (VET) in economic growth and development, policy makers and stakeholders prioritize VET in their economic goals. Although there are many university and vocational school (MYO) graduates in Turkiye, there is a shortage of trained personnel especially in technical and vocational fields. The number of MYO has reached a total of 1003 and students number is 2.82 millions compared to the vocational schools of 211 in Germany. The employment rate of bachelor's degree graduates was 75.6%, while this rate was 67.3 % for MYO graduates in Turkiye. Duration to find a job is about 15 months, compared to only 4 months in European countries. The German VET model is recognized worldwide as a fundamental and effective model for VET. The main reason is that it is a practice and model that combines theory and practice, learning and work, classroom and companies. In Turkiye, some efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of MYOs and the technical high schools have increased in recent years. It is aimed for students in the relevant programs to work full-time in an company for one semester in the last year of their education period in order to improve their professional skills and experiences. Structural change and practices similar to the system in Germany  might be considered based on  socio-economic conditions in Turkiye and  their experiences could be useful for MYOs

This study analyzed the regulations regarding the protection of foreign famous brands in Indonesia and the implementation of these regulations. This study used a normative legal research design by describing the reality and then compared it with applicable regulations or existing legal theories to answer the problem. The case analyzed in this study is the brand dispute between J Casanova and Irawan Gunawan as the owner of the Casanova brand. From the results of the study it was found that until now there has been no definite definition of famous brand in Indonesia. This is exacerbated by the weak legal structure in Indonesia, which causes the legal process regarding cases related to the brand to not be fulfilled with justice, usefulness and legal certainty. As in this case, there is confusion in determining what can cause a brand to be called a famous brand, and what kind of case is referred to as a famous brand impersonation. Law enforcers appear to be still weak in deciding whether the brand to be registered has an element of equality in principle with respect to famous brand that have been previously registered or not
