Palm Oil Fly Ash (POFA) as a Cementitious Material in Biomass Concrete: A Feasibility Review
This review discussed the feasibility of using palm oil fly ash (POFA) as a cementitious material for partially replacing cement in producing concrete. Such an application is known to mitigate the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2). Meanwhile, POFA is one of the general wastes generated from palm oil mills, and it is conventionally disposed of via landfills. Thus, using POFA to generate concrete could mitigate the depletion of raw material, i.e., limestone, used for cement
IMPACT OF THE NEW FACET LEADERSHIP STYLE ON JOB SATISFACTION IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF MAURITIUS
With the advent of globalization, competition in the education system has been in the limelight.
Successive governments have been investing massively in education. The utilization of the
appropriate leadership styles and their impact on job satisfaction in managing the different types
of arising circumstances have turned out to be of utmost importance in the impartation of quality
education and educational attainment. Leadership styles of the school leaders and job satisfaction
are responsible for the sustainability and future of all institutions. The aim of the study is to
understand the impact of educational leadership styles in terms of the New Facet Leadership style
on job satisfaction in the Mauritian education system. Data have been gathered from five hundred
actors of the education system in the private and state secondary schools of Mauritius. It analyses
the impact of the various socio-psychological in relation to the New Facet Leadership Style, work
culture, the attitude of the members towards their job, occupational self-efficacy and self-concept
on job satisfaction in the non-profit-making state and private secondary schools in Mauritius
through the SPSS and The SPSS AMOS. As the main confirmatory tool, the Structural Equation
Modeling has been used to gauge the impact of the New Facet Leadership Style (composed
of Contingency leadership, Managerial Leadership, Participative leadership, Instructional
Leadership and Moral leadership, along with the transformational leadership style) based on the
contingency and transformational leadership theories practised by the leaders positively affect the
job satisfaction. The present study establishes levels for other scholars to further investigate the
concept of job satisfaction and the leadership styles in terms of the New Facet Leadership Style at
the National and International levels using Structural Equation Modeling as the main tool of
analysis
Science and Quality Education for Sustainability Development in Libya
The Paper is designed to present an overview on the state of art on new and emerging education and training approaches and methodologies to meet the sustainable development demands at global, regional, national, and local levels. THE DRIVERS OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AMONG KNOWLEDGE WORKERS IN TERTIARY EDUCATION IN CHINA WITH THE MODERATOR OF CURIOSITY: A CONCEPTUAL PAPER
Employee engagement is a key factor for an organization’s success and competitive advantage. The engagement level of knowledge workers in tertiary education determines the efficiency and quality of tertiary education, as well as the healthy and sustainable development of tertiary education. However, China's overall employee engagement level is very low, and specific to the knowledge workers in the field of tertiary education is also not optimistic. And the low engagement will lead to many problems, such as poor performance, health complaints (burnout, depressive symptoms, sleep disturbances), stress and strains, and intention to quit This study examines the factors that influence and shape employee engagement of the knowledge workers in the context of tertiary education in China. It does this by studying multilevel factors at three levels, the individual, organizational and external levels. The present study will investigate the influence of the organizational culture, perceived supervisory support, and new ways of working on employee engagement among knowledge workers in the tertiary education area in China. And also investigate whether curiosity moderates the relationship between organizational culture, perceived supervisory support, and new ways of working to the employee engagement among knowledge workers in tertiary education in China. A questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents while Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the study hypotheses
Route Optimization based on Clustering and Travelling Salesman Problem
The rapid pace of e-commerce growth has affected the logistics sectors to face challenges such
as the pressure of consumer expectations and increased competition regionally across all players
in the supply chain. This e-commerce wave has led the logistics sector to struggle to improve
logistics distribution efficiency and reduce operating costs to keep up with consumers' fastgrowing
demand simultaneously. Therefore, this paper aims to introduce The Route Optimization
approaches that are developed to enhance the efficiency of the day-to-day operation in the logistics
industry at one leading distribution company, CV. Berkah Express in Palembang, South of
Sumatera, Indonesia. The system aims to optimize the last-mile distribution route by reducing the
driver's travel distance to drive more efficiently. In this paper, comparison results between the
original route taken by the driver and the proposed route based on optimization are conducted and
reported. The unsupervised learning result was also achieved and reported in comparison results.
Based on the comparison result, the route optimization system was proved effective through
example analysis on the said test dataset. The analysis results also reflect how the system's
algorithm can provide better routing solutions with shorter distances and lesser time that could
decrease the last-mile distribution costs efficientl
Simulation of CO2 Corrosion of Carbon Steel in High Pressure and High Temperature Environment (HPHT)
In HPHT environments, the mechanism of CO2 corrosion faces a challenge
as an effect of chemical-physical reactions on the metal surface. The
presence of other elements in the CO2 system complicates corrosion
behavior. To provide a realistic mechanism for corrosion process, some
corrosion prediction models have developed software using fundamental
theories such as electrochemical reactions and thermodynamics theories.
Existing methods to predict corrosion rate models in HPHT environments
have shown reasonable results. This paper reviews software of corrosion
predictions which calculate corrosion rate based on mechanistic theories
that study effects of H2S, acetic acid (HAc) concentrations, shear stress, pH
in temperature from 25oC – 100oC and pressure from 1–10 bar. From the
simulation, corrosion rate increased significantly in the high pressure CO2
environment. Corrosion rate at pH 4 increased to 30 mm/y at a temperature
from 15oC to 90oC. While at pH 8 corrosion rate reached 4 mm/y. This
lower corrosion rate indicated a tendency for deposits formation at higher
pH. Corrosion rate behaves in a different mechanism at high temperatures.
The corrosion rate decreased to 4 mm/y when the temperature increased to
more than 90oC. Effects H2S gas and HAc were identified to increase
corrosion rate. Both elements provide extra cathodic reaction and create
limiting current density in the cathodic reaction process based on
polarization sweep models. However, the polarization graph calculated
using corrosion models could not display passive behavior in the anodic
polarization process. Thus, further, improvement should be considered.
From the data calculation, it can be shown that corrosion prediction
software can predict corrosion rate in HPHT conditions
The Performance of Accident Severity Multiclass Classification
One way to monitor accidents on highway is to analyze the accident characteristic to
predict the accident severity. This study applied multinomial logistic regression model to predict
accident severity. Predicted accident severities are compared with actual accident severities to
evaluate the prediction performances of the model. The aim of this study is to determine the
performance of accident severity classifications by multinomial logistic regression model. The
predicted accident severities could be used to estimate potential effect of changes in factors
contributing to accidents. Data was obtained from the Malaysian Highway Authority for the
year 2013 and 2014. The accident severity was grouped into four categories of death, serious
injury, minor injury and damage. Based on the results, the model correctly classified accident
severities by 63.52% using training data and 61.45% using validation data. The Hosmer-
Lemeshow test indicated the model has a good fit between the actual accident severities and
predicted accident severities and the ROC results indicted the model able to distinguish between
the classifications. The classifier of the model inclined more toward the damages compared to
other accident severities resulted in classifying accident severity classes with more samples
better and remains weak on the accident severity classes with lesser samples

CEO of Ma Hua Teng has made it clear that in the future, he will spend more energy to improve the Tencent’s global management team, lead Tencent’s global strategy and digital platform development, and focus more on the exploration and development of long-term major issues. Strategic thinking, including global corporate management research, corporate social responsibility, and new business directions such as education. In addition, Tencent has offices in 30 countries and more than 180 cities, with more than 55,000 employees, and it is expected that the global labor force will reach 10,000 this year. The research in this paper found some literature data from google scholar and Baidu Encyclopedia for analysis and description digital transformation and Strategic Organizational Digital of Tencent, for such a global famous company, global digital management is bound to be a problem.

Students' Perception of Technology Use in an Institute of Higher Learning in Malaysia
This qualitative study was carried out in a Malaysian Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) among a small group of pre-university students studying English as a foreign language. Malaysian IHLs pride themselves on the level of technology integration within their curriculum, and this was put to the test with the recent pandemic situation resulting in education transitioning to online on a global scale. This research was conducted to analyse students’ perception of the use of that technology with a view to determining whether students viewed technology use as both sufficient and as a genuine aid to learning. Students were interviewed to ascertain what technology they used, how good they were at using it, the challenges and impact of using technology in learning, whether technology helped students to learn and whether it made learning more engaging. The results of the study revealed firstly that students are generally satisfied with the level of technology use in the curriculum, reinforcing the claims promulgated by the IHL. Secondly, the research revealed that, generally, younger tertiary level students perceived themselves to be considerably less IT literate than they are frequently given credit for. The findings are that while the IHL is meeting its commitment in terms of technology use in the curriculum, perhaps more could be done to support students in the application of technology in learning and that the use of video should be increased
Investigation on the Causes of Falling From Height and Fall Protection System at Sabah
The construction industry has been showing progressive growth over the past few
years not only in terms of development of projects but also in improvement of safety measures.
The bigger the projects are, the higher the risk workers faced in the construction site. This is
applicable to workers who are assigned tasks on elevated positions such as high rise
constructions as they possess the risk of falling from height. This project aimed at
investigating the causes of falling from height as well as fall prevention and mitigation at Kota
Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The research data was collected through survey where close ended
questionnaires were distributed to construction companies that performed works related to
elevated height. The questionnaires are based on the Likert scale where the respondent
measures their level of agreement. The data was analyzed by applying Relative Importance
Index (RII). The results show that the highest cause was workers not using personal protective
equipment properly, followed by misjudgment and carelessness of workers as well as the usage
of defective equipment. For the prevention methods, using personal protective equipment is
the best solution to prevent these falls from happening besides conducting regular
maintenance check on the equipment
