Nauczycielka między centrum a peryferiami. Jelicy Belović-Bernadzikowskiej droga do emancypacji w „Memuarach”
Jelica Belović-Bernadzikowska (1870–1946) was an ethnologist, writer and pedagogue. In her Memoari (Memoirs), she describes the beginnings of the education system under the Habsburg monarchy in Bosnia and Hercegovina, and her own contribution to pedagogical development, despite its hierarchical and discriminatory structure. The Memoirs show the emergence of the emancipatory process, the paths of a woman’s independent thought, and the impact of the changes she introduces. I analyze The Memoirs, modestly discussed, and show what a working woman faced in the education system in the 19th century – I place the text on the center-periphery axis in the perspective of cultural memory.Jelica Belović-Bernadzikowska (1870–1946) was an ethnologist, writer and pedagogue. Типологические параллели мотивов дня рождения и дня смерти автора в творческом наследии Леси Украинки и Марины Цветаевой
The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of motives of the author’s birthday and death day in the creative legacy of Lesya Ukrainka and Marina Tsvetaeva. The methodology is determined by the use of sources representing symbolic biographies of modernist writers. The paradigm of Lesya Ukrainka’s biography is set by the motif of unlucky birthday. The motif of a bitter fate in connection with the author’s birthday is heard in the final text of the cycle Poems about Moscow by Tsvetaeva. The placement of accents of life and death in this cycle allows us to consider it in the general typolog-ical series with Lesya Ukrainka’s poem Contra spem spero! The fourth text of Tsvetaeva’s cycle is marked by the pathos of protest against death. Поміж фізичним і трансцендентним: У просторі прози Олеся Ульяненка
The review is dedicated to considering the collective book Between the Apocalypse and Melancholy: Olesʹ Ulianenko – Creativity, Contexts, Memories (2023). The authors of this book represent various visions and interpretations of the artistic works of one of the most iconic Ukrainian novelists of the 1990s and 2000s and mark an important stage in the formation of Ulianenko studies in Poland. Each researcher chooses his or her way of approaching Ulianenko’s artistic work. Sometimes these ways intersect, but each moves along his or her trajectory, ultimately revealing a multifaceted understanding of the writer’s work. The subject of the article is a review of Jelena Marićević Balać’s book, Ka osmehu Evrope: Savremeno srpsko, poljsko i češko pesništvo u komparativnom ključu (Toward Europe’s Smile: Contemporary Serbian, Polish, and Czech Poetry from a Comparative Perspective), which was published in Novi Sad in 2023. Marićević Balać’s book presents a collection of concise comparative studies, organized into four distinct sections, each revolving around a thematic focal point (culture; nature and culture; ecopoetics; avant-garde). Within the review, a summary of the book’s contents is provided. In this article I present the results of corpus and lexicographic analyses of the bigram black sea. I conduct frequency, semantic, emotional and pragmalinguistic analyses of this proper name – Black Sea. I extracted these contexts from the corpora of Polish: Corpus of Parliamentary Discourse, NKJP and Monco.pl. As a result of my analysis, I obtained a linguistic picture of the Black Sea in the Polish communicative community. In parliament – in the texts of which this onim appears – the dominant negative emotion accompanying the basic theme, i.e. (current) politics, for the purpose of which, among other things, the mechanism of post-truth and post-memory are constructed using this name as elements of so-called historical politics. In general, the concept expressed by the bigram Black Sea is located on the periphery of the Polish linguistic worldview; does not constitute a prototype of “maritimeness”. The analyzed structure sends users of modern Polish to spatially, historically and mentally distant areas of Central Europe, to its southern part.In this article I present the results of corpus and lexicographic analyses of the bigram black sea. The article is devoted to the names of passenger trains referring to the Black Sea in Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, the USSR, Ukraine, Georgia and Russia. The author presents an onomastic and cultural analysis of the collected names of passenger connections. The conclusion is that a significant number of excerpted names meet the requirements of the rhetorical category of loci amoenus, and many names of international train connections allow them to be included in the group of loci communes.The article is devoted to the names of passenger trains referring to the Black Sea in Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, the USSR, Ukraine, Georgia and Russia. Morze Czarne w użyciu wtórnym, czyli o transonimizacji hydronimów
The article is related to my scientific research in the previous stages of studies, i.e. master’s studies in Slavic studies in the field of Croatian studies and bachelor’s studies in Slavic studies in the field of Bulgarian studies – with vocabulary related to water topics. This article aims to: determine how many dehydronym lexemes Черно море (The Black Sea) exist in Bulgaria, verify which objects are given such proper names and check whether it is possible to observe the dependence of the given names on geographical space, i.e. whether transonyms derived from the hydronym Черно морe occur most often near the reservoir itself or on the outskirts of Bulgaria. As I prove in the following considerations, the hydronym Черно море is quite a common and willingly used proper name. As a result of the transonymization process, dehydronymous names are used secondarily and are used to name hodonyms, ojkonyms or chrematonyms. This article is devoted to the names of commercial and service points on the Crimean Peninsula. Onomastic research focuses on answering the question of how the creators of names reflect the Black Sea and the entire coastal space. The author also seeks answers to the question regarding general naming tendencies that can be noticed in the analyzed units. The analyzed material showed that two types of names dominate in Crimea. These are traditional and modern names. The Black Sea depicted in them appears to be benevolent, but also dangerous. The trade names therefore show that the inhabitants of the Crimean Peninsula appreciate their past and tradition, but are also aware of and need for changes regarding services, goods and their naming.This article is devoted to the names of commercial and service points on the Crimean Peninsula.
