Особенности этноязыковой ситуации в регионе Карашево (Румыния)
Krashovani are the Catholic Slavic language minority settled in the region of Romanian Banat. They live in seven villages: Karashevo, Clocotici, Lupac, Nermet, Vodnic, Rafnic and Iabalcea, however, the last one represents an untypical case from the linguists’ point of view, the habitants usually communicate in Romanian, though they continue to declare themselves Krashovani. Time and reason of possible switch have not been clarified yet, as well as the Krashovanis’ ethnogenesis and detailed history. The most popular scientific theories attach them to Serbians or Croatians. Although their archaic idiom contains more features of Kosovo-Resava or Prizren-Timok dialect areas, recently the locals have started to define themselves as Croatians, mainly due to the influences of the Catholic church and modern Croatian cultural politics. In this paper based on the results of our fieldwork in Karashevo, we analyze some particularities of the contemporary ethnolinguistic situation there, paying special attention to the actual state of both Slavic and Romanian idioms used in this microregion.Krashovani are the Catholic Slavic language minority settled in the region of Romanian Banat. Rozkaz ojców. Dyskurs żalu i entuzjazmu w walce Arumunów o język i tożsamość w wieloetnicznych społeczeństwach Bałkanów
Since 1962, when Zbigniew Gołąb has published his fundamental study on Aromanian language in Macedonia, in Polish literature, beyond his study, there was a little interest in Aromanians as an ethnic group and in their language. In this article, the author focuses on 1) the changes the Aromanian language has been undergoing in the recent times, 2) how the transformation of the social situation of Aromanians influences the development of the language. In the present days, the social function of the ethnic language is transformed from the language of everyday use to the language as a symbol, label, marker of ethnicity, used in the special occasions. Opinions expressed by Aromanian intellectuals about their ethnic language, role in Aromanian social life, and their dilemmas, sorrows and enthusiasm, as well as activities around the ethnic language are the main objects of interest in the paper. The empirical material, applied to this study, was collected during the anthropological field research the author conducted in the summer seasons from 2007 till 2010 in all countries of residence of Aromanians: Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania. The empirical material includes more than 50 recorded and transcribed interviews with the leaders of Aromanian ethnic movement, informal conversations and observation notes taken during Aromanian public events.Since 1962, when Zbigniew Gołąb has published his fundamental study on Aromanian language in Macedonia, in Polish literature, beyond his study, there was a little interest in Aromanians as an ethnic group and in their language. Prikazi ljubavi u Andrićevu romanu Na Drini ćuprija
Starting with Erich Fromm’s thesis on love from his seminal work The Art of Loving (1956), the paper tries to show the way in which Fromm’s psycho-biological concept of love is represented differently in different historical formations in Andrić’s historical novel The Bridge on the Drina (1945). A brief analysis of the three love relations from Andrić’s novel reveals the process of the appearance of the concept of modern love, the moment in which love ceases to be a social instancje and becomes an individual act.Starting with Erich Fromm’s thesis on love from his seminal work The Art of Loving (1956), the paper tries to show the way in which Fromm’s psycho-biological concept of love is represented differently in different historical formations in Andrić’s historical novel The Bridge on the Drina (1945). Bułgarzy banaccy – fenomen trwałości kultury
Nowadays, the so-called Banat Bulgarians are a numerous group of the descendants of Bulgarian Catholics, which were forced to emigrate to Wallachia in the end of the 17th century and in the beginning of the 18th century and from there in years 1738–1741 to Banat. Small part of them (after 1878) returned to Bulgaria where they establish new villages. Most of them still live in Romanian territory, decidedly less numerous colonies are in Hungary and in Serbia. From the end of 19th century they were a subject of interest to historians and linguists. For historians, their history were extremely interesting. For linguists, because they managed to salvage the dialect which became (in the half of the 19th century) a base of literary norm that was to shape their language.Nowadays, the so-called Banat Bulgarians are a numerous group of the descendants of Bulgarian Catholics, which were forced to emigrate to Wallachia in the end of the 17th century and in the beginning of the 18th century and from there in years 1738–1741 to Banat. Współczesny literacki język prekmurski (casus Porabja)
The aim of the paper is to present the modern Prekmurian language that is nowadays used in Porabje. Porabje, located in Hungary, is a part of the bigger historical region named Prekmurje. While the Prekmurje was divided between Jugoslavia and Hungary after the first world war, one could see that the role of the Prekmurian language in Porabje was marginalized. Now it is used only in a few language areas. The consideration leads to some terminological conclusions. The aim of the paper is to present the modern Prekmurian language that is nowadays used in Porabje. Morfologiczne wykładniki pozytywnych emocji w „Przewodniku Katolickim” z lat 1895–2005
The object of the linguistic analysis are articles published in the years 1895–2005 in „Przewodnik Katolicki” – one of the oldest Polish periodicals and the oldest Catholic weekly in Poland, chich to a large extent has preserved its traditional line. The research conducted in this paper is of an empirical, material and interpretative character. Its purpose is the analysis of linguistic facto excerpted from „Przewodnik Katolicki” which were used by the magazine editors to express positive emotions. Only morphological indicators of positive emotions (inflectional expressive forms, morphological expressive forms) have been analyzed. Analyzing the expressive forms, the author reveals their factual emotional values coded in the elements constituting those constructions, i.e. inflectional morphemes and morphological formants. To achieve this goal he also takes into consideration other aspects of the process of expression. He includes both interactions between the constituent elements (the inner context) of inflectional and morphological structures and the activity of other components of an utterance or consituation which jointly organize the emotional meaning of expressive forms. The reconstructed senses are presented in the form of explications, following the ideas of Anna Wierzbicka and Stanisław Grabias, as analytical formulas equivalent with the defined constructions. The object of the linguistic analysis are articles published in the years 1895–2005 in „Przewodnik Katolicki” – one of the oldest Polish periodicals and the oldest Catholic weekly in Poland, chich to a large extent has preserved its traditional line.
