O języku literackim molizańskich Słowian
This article aims to present and describe the situation of the literary language of the Molise Slavs. In the last decades, various scholars have expressed their views on this issue with some of them claiming that Molise Slavic is a literary language, whilst by the other ones this vernacular was denied such right. Although Alexandr D. Dulichenko – who coined the term „Slavic literarymicrolanguage” – dated its literary traditions back to the 19th century, some scholars perceive the 18th or 20th centuries as the beginning of the literature written in Molise Slavic (MSl). Consequently, this led to ambiguity that this article is trying to clarify. Until recently, this vernacular was prevalently used for poetry and short prose, but with recent publications of Nicola Gliosca’s novels, Molise Slavic is now on its way to develop as a full-fledged literary language. According to typology presented by Antoni Furdal, MSl can now – with presence of translations – be classified as a „literary language with limited sphere of use”.This article aims to present and describe the situation of the literary language of the Molise Slavs. In the last decades, various scholars have expressed their views on this issue with some of them claiming that Molise Slavic is a literary language, whilst by the other ones this vernacular was denied such right. Emocja jako komunikat
Emotion may be treated as a special sort of message considering that communicative function is one of the basic functions of emotion. Moreover emotion serves as a message in two ways. In one way facial expression of emotion is a message to other participants of social interaction that contains information about the emotional state of the subject and thus plays important interpersonal role. It shows the subject’s personal attitude and amplifies verbal messages or makes them more credible. Numerous empirical studies show that processes of generating and perceiving of facial expressions of emotions are autonomic and specific. In the other way emotion is an internal message containing information about the significance of events or thoughts and thus helping in making choices or taking decissions.Emotion may be treated as a special sort of message considering that communicative function is one of the basic functions of emotion. Etniczność i narodowość rdzennych mieszkańców Górnego Śląska po 1989 roku
In the article, the author describes an evaluation regarding the identity of the indigenous population of Upper Silesia against the specific of this region background. First of all, he focuses on the evaluation concerning the identity of this group after 1989 – on the multidimensional Silesianess. He shows the phenomenon of joining the German minority with many Silesians, which creates the regional movements especially Silesian organizations that promote Silesianess and strive for acknowledgment of the Silesian nationality and Silesian dialect for the language. In retrospect, an increasing popularity of such organizations may be noticed among the Silesians due to their nationality declarations. According to census 2002 and 2011, the Silesians represent the largest minority group that so far has unregulated legal status. For years, Silesian organizations endeavor to change this situation. They try to dispose the Polish authorities to amend the act on national and ethnic minorities and on the regional languages to find in the act the Silesians and their dialect receive the language status. In the article, the author describes an evaluation regarding the identity of the indigenous population of Upper Silesia against the specific of this region background. Gagauzi jako przykład współczesnego mikronarodu
This article aims at givng a brief description of the Gagauz people in the areas of Bessarabia and Bulgaria. Gaugazes are a group of elusive people, whose origin seems to be obscure because of only indirect written sources. While in Bulgaria, their old country, Gagauzes maintain Bulgarian identity in addition to their own, in Bessarabia they are a distinct ethnic category. Gaugazes probably can be a micronation, by modern standards. If we consider their culture (spiritual and material), also their history and geography of settlement, they can be categorized as a Slavonic micronation. Nevertheless, their language and origins seem to be non-Slavic.This article aims at givng a brief description of the Gagauz people in the areas of Bessarabia and Bulgaria. O emotywności językowej z Bronisławem Malinowskim w tle
One of the ways of understanding linguistic emotivity is taking into account an anthropological approach. The first anthropologist who recognized the emotive aspect of language was the founding father of social anthropology Bronisław Malinowski, thus forming the foundation for future ethnolinguistics and linguistic anthropology. According to the view of these subdisciplines the role of speech cannot be defined only in terms of phonology, morphology or syntax but also in terms of semantics and pragmatics. Taking into account all the above mentioned aspects of language allows finding out basic oppositional functions of language: referential andemotive. The latter one means the impact of cultural contexts on language (eg. religious cult vs academic lecture), as well as the creative role of language that shapes the nature of communication and culture itself. Anthropological studies are followed in this respect by discussed below some approaches of linguistics, literary studies, philosophy and sociology. One of the ways of understanding linguistic emotivity is taking into account an anthropological approach. Język jako narzędzie kształtowania postaw proekologicznych – o polskich i bułgarskich złożeniach z komponentem eko- w dyskursie publicystycznym
The article focuses on the selected cognitive aspects of the interpretation of meaning of Polish and Bulgarian compounds with the eco-component in the journalistic discourse. According to the assumptions suggested by J. Bartmiński and S. Niebrzegowska-Bartmińska, I define discourse as „a processual and contextual conceptualization of a «communication event» whose objective «created» conceptualization is text”. I provide the composites present in Polish and Bulgarian journalistic discourse with a critical eco-linguistic comment. The analysis made on texts being the objective conceptualization of the journalistic discourse proves semantic under-specification of the eco-component. In many structures, this component loses the meaning content in the sense of denotation, while it carries a certain axiological judgment, becoming a kind of emotive operator that makes it easier to manipulate the meaning. The article focuses on the selected cognitive aspects of the interpretation of meaning of Polish and Bulgarian compounds with the eco-component in the journalistic discourse.
