Projekt Szlachetna Paczka − słowa klucze. Od przygotowywania paczek dla ubogich rodzin do wizji społeczeństwa
This article describes the language used on the Noble Box project website. The project supports the families which are in a difficult finanacial situation by delivering them especially prepared boxes (usually multiple). They contain products which meet the family needs. The material help is not however the aim but the means of The Noble Box Project. It concentrates on appreciating the former attempts of poor people and activating them for further activity. The final aim is to create the society of people who can support each other. The keywords analyzed in this article reflect the Noble Box Project program: poverty, hero, change, wise help, struggle (also: struggle with poverty), challenge, team, connecting people.The texts placed on the Noble Box Project webside are of persuasive character. Their aim is to make the recepients engage in the project (most of all as volunteers and granters) and to undermine the negative stereoptype of poor people. The key words mentioned above play an important role
Wpływ języka polskiego na rozwój świadomości narodowej młodzieży galicyjskiej w dobie autonomicznej
After the Austro-Hungarian compromise in 1867 the Galician parliament and provincial administration gained extensive privileges and prerogatives, especially in education. Galicia was the first crownland that had a school council, which was sanctioned already in 1867. After almost a century the ongoing process of Germanization ended as in the following years the majority of German speaking public officials were replaced by Poles and the Polish language became the main administrativ language and the main language of instruction in school. The article describes changes in the school system and shows the role of the Polish language in primary and secondary education during this so-called epoch of Galician autonomy. A comparison of historical documents and memories from schooldays from former Galician school children allows a realistic insight on the role which the Polish language played in the lives of young Galicians. The analysis shows that the Polonisation of the Galician school system effected the development of Polish national consciousness within young Galicians very slowly and not until the beginning of the 20th century

Z historii rodziny leksykalnej rzeczownika paskuda
In the article the lexical units gathered from all history of Polish language were put under investigation belonging to the word family of the noun – paskuda. By using the semasiological method the researched process of how particular formations formed the new semantical senses manifested itself and how eradicated the old ones. The general key of its movings and the purpose were underlined and of these modifications ‘in the better serving’ depicted.As shown the afore-mentioned lexical units comprised with a multitude of senses already by-gone featuring the adultery, the burglary, defamation, gluttony and the cattle disease. At the beginning they seemed stable nevertheless the overuse of them paradoxically caused the eradication of popular meanings. They were not forgotten fully because it’s ‘residua’ were found in folk-slang. The essential figure is hereditary of pre-Slavic senses for instance; ‘something shoddy<poor>’, ‘something off’, ‘something repulsive’. Płaczcie – umarł Pan… Nazwy własne we wczesno-barokowym poemacie pasyjnym (na przykładzie Pamiątki krwawej ofiary Pana Zbawiciela naszego Jezusa Chrystusa Abrahama Rożniatowskiego)
The article is dedicated to description of proper names functions in chosen narrative poem of Passion literature of Polish Baroque. Analyzed proper names in Pamiątka krwawej ofiary Pana Zbawiciela naszego Jezusa Chrystusa (1610) by Abraham Rożniatowski are mainly connected with metaphysical sphere of culture, majority of them is conventional, primarily drawn from Bible. The main function of proper names is to describe the Passion in influential way and to show the people how grievous and savage it was. The onomastic field of the narrative poem is strictly related to religious cult of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska popular in Poland in Baroque times
Słowniki Bartłomieja z Bydgoszczy (1532 i 1544). Stan badań i perspektywy badawcze
The purpose of this article is to recall the 16th century Latin-Polish dictionaries by Bartholomew of Bydgoszcz. The article describes the figure of the monk, the history of his works as well as their structure and contents. The interest in the lexicons grew in the 70s of the 20th century when a manuscript dated 1532 (considered to be lost after the second world war) was found and a dictionary dated 1544 was unexpectedly discovered. A decision was made then to (jointly) publish both lexicons in the reversed version (Polish-Latin). This project still has not been completed which certainly has had its effect on the researchers’ weakening interest in the dictionaries and a small number of publications. Therefore the article presents possibilities of the analysis of the Polish and Latin lexical material
Graficzne i fonetyczne warianty techniczne w polskiej edycji Żywotów filozofów Mikuláša Konáča (F. Ungler, Kraków 1535)
The article attempts the technical determination of the graphic and phonetic variance acknowledged in the Polish edition of the Żywoty filozofów by Mikuláš Konáč. The method used was to analyze the distribution of oppositional graphic forms. It has been determined that the technical nature of the print is 9 variants: 4 graphic variants („j” = /j/ in position before consonant, „j” = /j/ in the voice-over position, „u” = /v/ i /v/ in the midpoint position, „th” = /t/) and 5 phonetic variants (miesce, miejsce, miejstce; wszystko; wieliki); among them are both regressive and progressive forms. The analysis also shows that, using the disclosed technical variants, zecer manipulated the graphical content of the lines in both possible ways: narrowing or widening

Przywódca populistyczny i jego językowy obraz w aspekcie retoryki dominacji na podstawie wypowiedzi Pawła Kukiza. Perspektywa politologiczna i lingwistyczna
The aim of this paper is characterizing one of the main populistic categories – the populistic leader. The problem was described from politological and linguistic point of view. The analyzed texts are Paweł Kukiz’ statements presented in the sessions of the Sejm (a lower chamber of the Polish parliament) and his Facebook posts. This paper presents the most important features which build the linguistic image of populistic leader. The authors claim that the image of populistic leader created in Paweł Kukiz’ texts is strictly combined with the dominance and its linguistic ways of expression, regarding the opposites to the people (citizens) and elites (political parties etc.). The cohesion of the described image of the populistic leader is created with the opposite we – they, which is ambiguous in the analyzed texts and enables Paweł Kukiz to construct different roles he plays in politics
