Zwrot kulturowy w badaniach onomastycznych
In the recent years, a turn towards interdisciplinary research in which proper names are presentedas an interpretation of reality and a mirror of historical, political, social and cultural processes has been observed in onomastics. Names can reflect a popular vision of the world presenting its anthropocentric conceptualization reconstructed on the basis of knowledge, beliefs, valuation systems and cultural experiences of people. Thus the cultural analysis of onyms comprises notions of a linguistic image of the world, point of view, profiling, conceptualization and categorization of ideas, valuation, stereotype and prototype, connotation, metaphor and metonymy. Special attention is also paid to the secondary functions of proper names which, apart from indicating and identifying objects, can also perform metaphorical, expressive, ludic, pragmatic and marketing functions. The so-called cultural onomastics focuses on the study of proper names in this aspect. The analysis of onyms is shifted in it towards the creator and interpreter, presenting the manner of conceptualizing a selected fragment of reality in the categories of a consolidated mental pattern. Interdisciplinary research develops in many directions, making use of the methods and notions of such sciences as sociology, psychology, folk medicine, cognitivism, ethnology, folkloristics, anthropology, religious studies, neurology. Cultural onomastics concentrates on a variety of proper names belonging to the fields of anthroponymy, toponymy, media onymy and chrematonymy. Furthermore, the new research fields necessitate changes in the traditional methodology as well as consideration of a broad social and cultural context within a particular system of values

„Imię Twoje […] im bardziej puste, tym bliższe prawdy”. O nie-nazywaniu Boga w poezji Zbigniewa Jankowskiego
The linguistic image of God in the poetry of Zbigniew Jankowski is not homogenous. God is presented differently and it is combined with changes of the lyrical speaker’s attitude towards Absolute in different writing periods. The linguistic image of God is complex, because the poet rejects the Judeo-Christian tradition and also recalls it. God in the analyzed texts is omnipresent, unknowable and shapeless existence, then transforms into perceptible area, then God transforms into area that is natural element and at least he becomes a sea. In the all mentioned images God is Nameless. When the Creator becomes human like, a man searching for the God starts closer relationship with him. There are several individual descriptions which not only name the God, but also indirectly characterize him and his attitude towards creation. These descriptions evoke the tradition of naming of the God that takes its origin in the Bible. The evolution of the ways of naming and addressing the God in different writing periods of Zbigniew Jankowski’s poetry is an important element of the linguistic image of God and it also presents the system of the poet’s values. The linguistic image of God in the poetry of Zbigniew Jankowski is not homogenous. Wstępne uwagi o normie składniowej aktów prawnych
The article discusses the question of syntactic norm of legal acts on the background ofthe syntactic norm of the standard language. After the presentation of the relationship betweenthe syntactic norm of legal acts and the norm of the standard language, especially itsmodel variety, the author continues to describe the selected syntactic features testifying to aspecific character of the observed norm. The examples given furnish evidence for quantitativeand qualitative differences between the standard and the professional norm. Two researchpostulates can be put forward as a result of the conducted analyses. The first one, of generalnature, concerns efforts which would be aimed at the new presentation of the position of theprofessional norm in the norm of the standard Polish language. The second postulate refers tothe studies of the legal language which should be expanded by embracing the problems concerning the codification of a syntactic norm. The article discusses the question of syntactic norm of legal acts on the background of the syntactic norm of the standard language.
