Zjawiska paraspołeczne – teoria, przegląd badań i perspektywy
The purpose of this article is to present the issue of parasocial phenomena. For this purpose, the concept of Horton and Wohl, which initiated research on parasocial phenomena, is presented in detail. The results of previous research on parasocial phenomena are cited. On their basis, it was indicated which people can take on the role of a media figure in parasocial phenomena. Features that attract viewers to a media figure are also listed. The role of transmission-related factors on the development of parasocial phenomena was also discussed. Criticism of the theory of parasocial phenomena regarding the theoretical concept and the research conducted was also indicated. The current direction of research on parasocial phenomena was also discussed, along with an indication of potential perspectives

The article is an attempt at a theoretical analysis of the mental health of a person with intellectual disability (at various developmental stages) based on the Bioecological Theory. The aim of the article is to attempt a theoretical description of various areas of functioning of a person with intellectual disability in the field of mental health and mental health crises.The mental health of people with ID is an area overlooked in the literature on the subject. Ocena sprawności fizycznej studentów fizjoterapii po okresie pandemii Covid-19- badanie pilotażowe
Physical activity is one of key elements of a health-promoting lifestyle, and research confirms its impact on people’s health in both physical, social and emotional areas. In addition, it is an integral part of physioprophylaxis, by preventing or slowing down disease processes. The aim of this study was to assess selected motor characteristics and physical fitness of physiotherapy students. The study was based on selected physical fitness tests modelled on the International Physical Fitness Test. The study involved 140 students (94 females and 46 males), aged between 19 and 24 years. In the study conducted, we observed poorer performance of individual test attempts in women, while in men the mean scores of individual tests were within normal limits, except for the flexibility testt. The physical fitness of the physiotherapy students after the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus among the men is better than in the women and is within normal limits.Physical activity is one of key elements of a health-promoting lifestyle, and research confirms its impact on people’s health in both physical, social and emotional areas. Zjawisko pracy kobiet: znaczenia, dylematy i kontrowersje na przestrzeni wieków
The article has an overview character. Based on the analysis of the subject, the article’s primary purpose is to synthetically show the phenomenon of women’s work over the centuries and to critically reflect on the place of women in the professional space. The article reflects on the phenomenon of women’s work in terms of socio-cultural. The considerations are focused on the issue of women’s work from a historical perspective, the professional position of Polish women after 1945, and the accompanying paradoxes also about the contemporary labour market. In almost every era (including today), certain types of women’s work could be equated with a sense of overload, injustice or lack of satisfaction. On the other hand, however, as demonstrated in this article, women’s work can become a tool for emancipation, provided the right political, cultural and social conditions exist.The article has an overview character. The aim of this article is to present the activities of the Katowice Cultural Institution Pantheon Upper Silesia, taking into account educational and popularization values. Długoterminowa (nie)skuteczność algorytmu SuperMemo w szkolnej edukacji historycznej
The subject of the article is the SuperMemo algorithm, which forms the basis of various applications that aid in memorization. It has been implemented in programs such as Anki or an application named after the algorithm itself—SuperMemo. An experimental study of its long-term effectiveness in school historical education was conducted among 59 students preparing for their final exams in history or participating in olympiads and attending above-average rated high schools and technical schools in Poland. Rola zachowań prozdrowotnych w utrzymaniu zdrowia kobiet. Wyniki badań pilotażowych
Lifestyle is considered one of the most important determinants of health, which most of of us can influence and consciously modify it. However, it is essential to raise health awareness among people so that they know how to do it effectively. The workplace is one of the settings for health promotion, which fosters the spread of health knowledge and care among different groups of people – both men and women, with different levels of education, of different ages, doing different types of work. Women, given their life cycle, from puberty to procreation to menopause, are a specific group from the point of view of health and taking care of it. They are also a special group, given the many burdens of their social roles. All this contributes to the diverse health needs of women of different ages, but also numerous risk factors, including the risk of certain diseases. It is therefore necessary to carry out health education for women, taking into account their age, the type of work they do and their non-work burdens.The purpose of this article is to present the results of a preliminary-pilot study on the health care of active women.Lifestyle is considered one of the most important determinants of health, which most of of us can influence and consciously modify it. Sztuka jako przestrzeń konfliktu. Istota, kreowanie i upowszechnianie jako obszary zmagań tożsamościowych
The text analyzes the reality of art as a space filled with contradictions. The critical literature analysis covers three perspectives: the essence, creation, and dissemination of art. The conclusions point to the necessity of openly defining art as a social construct, as well as to conflictual situations such as the quality of relations within the art community, competition for position in the environment and the art market, social expectations of the role of artists in the modern world, the rupture of continuity of meaning within language and cultural heritage, relations with the external environment, or the determinants of access to economic capital. At the same time, art demonstrates the potential for discourse leading to bold questions, the search for answers and the “clash” of different perspectives on the place and role of man in current reality.The text analyzes the reality of art as a space filled with contradictions. The article presents the figure of an outstanding historian of education who died prematurely on April 2, 2021, head of the Department of History of Education at the Faculty of Educational Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań – Professor Wiesław Jamrożek. His interests and research, which were his passion and shaped his scientific identity, centered around the history of educational thought and practice, primarily in the 19th and 20th centuries.
