Die Genesis in rabbinischer Auslegung und ihr Verhältnis zu anderen Schöpfungsmythen
Get PDFDie folgende Arbeit behandelt die Genesis in ihrer Funktion als Schöpfungsmythos der jüdischen Religion. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die rabbinische Auslegung der Verse 1:1 - 3:24 und 6:5 - 9:19 gelegt, deren Inhalt kurz angegeben wird. Außerdem wird die Entstehung und Datierung der Genesis, sowie der als Bereshit Rabba bekannten rabbinischen Kommentare, angesprochen. Abschließend wird ein vergleichender Blick auf die Schöpfungsmythen von altorientalischen wie auch -ägyptischen Religionen geworfen. The following paper concerns the book of Genesis in its function as a creation myth in jewish religion. It will turn its attention especially to the rabbinic interpretation of the verses 1:1 – 3: 24 and 6:5 – 9:19 and give a brief summary of the content. Furthermore the origin and dating of the book of Genesis itself and the rabbinic commentary, wich is known as Bereshit Rabba, will be discussed. Taking a conclusing look the israelitic creation myth will be compared to those from ancient oriental and egyptian beliefs
