No full textThe following article analyzes several biblical texts in which characters are portrayed in situations of vulnerability due to their condition as foreigners or migrants. Using the key concepts of migration-rejection-hospitality, the article formulates ethical commitments and challenges that belong to the vocation of the People of Israel and to the Christian identity. These elements can guide our ethical response to the phenomenon of human mobility that is being demanded today. En este artículo se analizan algunos textos bíblicos, cuyos personajes aparecen en situación de vulnerabilidad debido a su condición de forasteros o migrantes. A partir de la clave migración-rechazo-hospitalidad, se formulan algunos compromisos y desafíos éticos que pertenecen a la vocación del Pueblo de Israel y a la identidad cristiana. Estos elementos pueden orientar la respuesta que el fenómeno de la movilidad humana nos reclama hoy

No full textThe article raises the problem of the authenticity of the Hebrew prophets, focusing on the approaches of Abraham Joshua Heschel, a 20th century philosopher and rabbi. The text shows some aspects of Heschel’s personal path, to later expose different topics of Jewish mysticism. Likewise, the qualities and styles of the different prophets are specified and Heschel’s assessment of them is exposed. Finally, the quality of the prophet’s persistence is highlighted, understanding it as a testimony of commitment in denouncing the incongruity and corruption of his time. El artículo plantea el problema de la autenticidad de los profetas hebreos, centrando la atención en los planteamientos de Abraham Joshua Heschel, un filósofo y rabino del siglo XX. El texto muestra algunos aspectos del camino personal de Heschel para luego exponer distintos tópicos del misticismo judío. Asimismo, se particularizan las cualidades y estilos de los distintos profetas y se expone la valoración que Heschel realizó en torno a ellos. Por último, se destaca la cualidad de la persistencia del profeta, entendiéndola como un testimonio de compromiso al denunciar la incongruencia y la corrupción de su tiempo.

No full textThe following article studies the testimonies produced in the Protestant-evangelical world within the process of Protestant evangelization in Latin America. Based on the press of these churches, it is observed that evangelization in Protestantism focuses on changing the attitudes and behaviors of individuals. The account of difficult situations resolved through divine intervention produces a link between believers and the churches, in which the life experiences of the former are resignified and the effectiveness of the latter is legitimated. This phenomenon turns the testimonies into mental objects that have been present for more than a hundred years, so their study also requires a theological perspective that puts forward the performance of the believing people as producers of these life stories. El siguiente artículo estudia los testimonios producidos en el mundo protestante-evangélico dentro del proceso de evangelización protestante en América Latina. Con base en la prensa de estas Iglesias, se observa que la evangelización en el protestantismo se centra en modificar las actitudes y conductas de los individuos. La narración de situaciones difíciles resueltas gracias a la intervención de la divinidad produce un vínculo entre los creyentes y las Iglesias, en el que se resignifican las experiencias de vida de los primeros y se legítima la eficacia de las segundas. Este fenómeno convierte a los testimonios en objetos mentales que han estado presentes durante más de cien años, por lo que su estudio también requiere una perspectiva teológica que ponga por delante la actuación del pueblo creyente como productor de estos relatos de vida. 
“NO SE NACE SABIENDO ANDAR JUNTOS” ALGUNAS PROPUESTAS PARA EL CAMINO SINODAL EN FIDELIDAD AL ESPÍRITU
No full textWhen we speak of a synodal church, we are referring to “walking together” towards a common goal. However, the Church’s millennial experience reveals that only on a few occasions have we walked together as equals (lay people, religious orders, priests, pastoral ministers). Participation in the Church has long been unequal. Nevertheless, the recognition of equality among the faithful (so that we can walk shoulder to shoulder) is not enough to show that our greatest dignity, which is to be children of God, is fulfilled in perfect equality in dignity. We are required to prepare ourselves to walk side by side with the stewardship and inspiration from the Holy Spirit so that we can attain this lofty goal. Here are some guidelines to understand the voice of the Holy Spirit who calls us, keeps us company and guides us, as well as four tools that are needed to respond as a Church to the challenges of the times. Cuando hablamos de una Iglesia sinodal, nos estamos refiriendo a un caminar juntos hacia una meta común. Con todo, la experiencia milenaria de la Iglesia nos indica que son muy pocas las veces que hemos caminado juntos en pie de igualdad (laicos, religiosos, sacerdotes, agentes de pastoral). La participación en la Iglesia ha sido durante mucho tiempo desigual. Pero el reconocimiento de la igualdad de los fieles para que de verdad caminemos “codo a codo” no basta para mostrar que nuestra máxima dignidad, la de ser hijos e hijas de Dios, se encuentra realizada en perfecta equidad de dignidad. Requerimos capacitarnos para caminar lado a lado, con la guía e inspiración del Espíritu, y prepararnos para responder a esta misión común. Ofrecemos aquí elementos para discernir la voz del Espíritu que nos llama, convoca, acompaña y guía, así como cuatro necesarias habilitaciones para responder como Iglesia a los signos de los tiempos actuales
