Espectralidad animal como posibilidad de una hospitalidad más allá de lo humano
Get PDFThis paper explores the relationship between the animal and the human from the Derridian figure of the spectrum. It seeks to enable the possibility of a consideration around the animal that is not governed by the traditional ontological hierarchy of metaphysics, according to which there is an area of the human, radically alien and differentiated from that which is encompassed overwhelmingly under the animal tag. Considering that the specter is that figure that disrupts the clear and distinct limits of metaphysics, the animal will be located in that fissure to show how its way of inhabiting, of besieging, always works like the specter. To this end, we will work in an interconnected way, going back and forth, between a series of Derridian texts in which fruitful reading operations are deployed in the direction we intend to point here.El presente escrito indaga la relación entre lo animal y lo humano a partir de la figura derridiana del espectro. Se busca habilitar la posibilidad de una consideración en torno a lo animal que no esté regida por la jerarquización ontológica tradicional de la metafísica, según la cual existe un ámbito propio de lo humano, radicalmente ajeno y diferenciado de aquello que se engloba de manera avasallante bajo el rótulo de animal. Considerando que el espectro es esa figura que trastoca los límites claros y distintos de la metafísica, se ubicará al animal en esa fisura para mostrar cómo su modo de habitar, de asediar, funciona ya siempre al modo del espectro. Para este fin, se trabajará de manera interconectada, yendo y viniendo, entre una serie de textos derridianos en los que se despliegan operaciones de lectura fructíferas en la dirección a la que aquí pretendemos apuntar

From this central theme it will be possible to break down similarities between both thinkers as well as differences. The analysis will focus on one work by each author, the work of Freud called Moses and Monotheism, and Jung's work whose name is Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious. I will also analyze other materials to provide a greater complement to this work.En este trabajo analizaré el tema de la espiritualidad en Sigmund Freud y Carl Jung. Desde este tema central se podrá desglosar similitudes entre ambos pensadores así también diferencias. No full textAs the anxious title anticipates, the present essay intends to make a philosophical reading in a metaphysical key, accompanied at the same time by a literary analysis, of the titled story by Borges Babel's Library, contained in the even more comprehensive Fictions. To carry out this undertaking, it will be necessary not only to start from the biblical story of the tower of Babel, but also to make a detailed analysis of the words chosen with great specificity and with no less intention on the part of Jorge Luis Borges, in order to elucidate the connection between the Borgean fiction in question and the tireless human tendency -in this case, given through language- towards a totality that can be interpreted here as a certain divinity.Tal como adelanta el ansioso título, el presente ensayo pretende hacer una lectura filosófica en clave metafísica, acompañada al mismo tiempo de un análisis literario, del intitulado cuento de Borges La biblioteca de Babel, contenido en el aún más abarcativo Ficciones. Para llevar a cabo esta empresa, será necesario no solo partir del relato bíblico de la torre de Babel, sino además hacer un minucioso análisis de las palabras elegidas con suma especificidad y no con menos intención por parte de Jorge Luis Borges, para así elucidar la conexión entre la ficción borgeana en cuestión y la incansable tendencia humana -en este caso, dada a través del lenguaje- hacia una totalidad que permite ser interpretada aquí como cierta divinidad

Similarly, it is intended to point out the way in which Zoological reason is complicated in literary writing to become Zoographic. That is to say, as from the appearance of the animal in literature, the political field can be thought of as an aesthetic territory where enchantments and disenchantments occur to make possible strategies to challenge or legitimize certain ethical and aesthetic practices.El presente artículo pretende evidenciar el conjunto de imbricaciones entre filosofía y literatura a partir de prácticas discursivas que tienen lugar en la literatura infantil y los discursos sobre el animal. De igual modo, se pretende señalar la manera en la que la razón Zoológica se complica en la escritura literaria para devenir Zoográfica. Es decir, como a partir de la aparición del animal en la literatura se puede pensar el campo político como un territorio estético en donde acontecen encantamientos y desencantamientos para hacer posibles estrategias de impugnación o legitimación de ciertas prácticas éticas y estéticas

That is why we ventured into a group philosophical exercise: rehearsing ourselves without a previously established goal. A tiny room, opaque colors and its strident boards where our steps slide. An evening infusion between ashes and slight columns of cigarette smoke, together with the echo of a grandstand blowing up a superclassic, made up the painting, our kitchen of meaning. These fortuitous events were from where the lines of this editorial intersected. Perhaps the first challenge in starting to write an editorial is to be able to delimit or delimit the extension of something that surrounds us, of something that is plotted in a vast sea of words and that engenders unease when we try to hurt the blank page to explain , signs through, the what and the how of that sea.Nos propusimos trazar márgenes donde poder acampar entre la Filosofía y la Literatura. Por ello nos aventuramos en un ejercicio filosófico grupal: ensayarnos sin un fin establecido de antemano. Una habitación minúscula, colores opacos y sus estridentes maderos donde deslizar nuestros pasos. Una infusión vespertina entre cenizas y leves columnas de humo de cigarrillos, junto al eco de una tribuna hinchando en un superclásico, compusieron el cuadro, nuestra cocina de sentido. Estos acontecimientos fortuitos fueron desde donde se entrecruzaron las líneas de esta editorial. El origen moderno de la destrucción de la experiencia
No full textThis work aims to account for the origin of the destruction of experience - a phenomenon enunciated by Agamben - through Toulmin's analysis of modernity. This analysis refers to the intellectual step from the modest humanism of the 16th century to the dogmatic scientism of the 17th century. Such a transfer allows us to account both for the last time when genuine experience was present, and for the destruction of vital experience at the hands of the search for certainty of a scientific modernity. For the analysis, it will be necessary to address the material and historical context in which it has been developed. For this reason, based on certain reflections by Popkin and Toulmin himself, we will try to delve into the reasons for the destruction of experience, focusing not only on the intellectual and superstructural field, but also on the historical and material context of the Lutheran reform.El presente trabajo pretende dar cuenta del origen de la destrucción de la experiencia - fenómeno enunciado por Agamben - a través del análisis de Toulmin sobre la modernidad. Dicho análisis remite al paso intelectual del humanismo modesto del siglo XVI al cientificismo dogmático del siglo XVII. Tal traspaso nos permite dar cuenta tanto de la última época en que la experiencia genuina se presentaba presente, como de la destrucción del experimentar vital a manos de la búsqueda de la certeza de una modernidad cientificista. Para el análisis, será preciso abordar el contexto material e histórico en el cual se ha gestado. Por ello, a partir de ciertas reflexiones de Popkin y el propio Toulmin, intentaremos profundizar en las razones de la destrucción de la experiencia focalizando no solo en el campo intelectual y superestructural, sino también en el contexto histórico y material de la reforma luterana

No full textThis paper deals with the epistemological discussion in the Latin American context around what is considered science, trying to answer a crucial question: can we achieve scientific knowledge, or are we only condemned to be mere reproducers of European thinkers? Emphasizing on two positions, one is Eurocentrism and the other position seeks other notions silenced by the dominant ones; in other words, a position that is canonical in our teachings and another that we could call non-canonical. Within this second position, several authors will be found, such as: Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Aníbal Quijano, Maximiliano Salatino, Javier Collado Ruano and Walter Mignolo. This will end up leading to new ways of making epistemologies that are not strictly dominated by canonical thought.El presente trabajo versa sobre la discusión epistemológica en el contexto latinoamericano en torno a lo que se considera ciencia, intentando responder una pregunta crucial ¿nosotros podemos realizar conocimiento científico, o sólo estamos condenados a ser meros reproductores de pensadores europeos? Acentuando en dos posturas, una es el eurocentrismo y la otra postura busca otras nociones calladas por las dominantes; en otras palabras, una postura que es canónica en nuestras enseñanzas y otra que podríamos denominar no-canónica. Dentro de esta segunda postura se van a encontrar varios autores, como ser: Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Aníbal Quijano, Maximiliano Salatino, Javier Collado Ruano y Walter Mignolo. Esto terminará desembocando en nuevas formas de hacer epistemologías que no estén dominadas estrictamente por el pensamiento canónico
