Aproximaciones al encuentro entre vida, política y cuerpo
Get PDFIn this essay, it will be reflcted about the categories of health and disease from the perspective of Georges Canguilhem. With this, it will seek to install a precedent about the consequences that the incorporation of the experience dimension has in the problematization of the medical sciences and the consideration of the subject implies in those. Later, it will be stablished a contrast between this approach and the contemporary way of understand, not only the clinical events, but all a vision of the human phenomena under the biologicist array. Finally, it will be raise a hypothesis that gave account of the political utility that this lecture embrace, and his consequences in the organization of power in contemporary life.En el presente ensayo, se reflxionará sobre las categorías de salud y enfermedad desde la perspectiva de Georges Canguilhem. Con esto, se buscará instalar un antecedente sobre las implicancias que tiene la incorporación de la dimensión de la experiencia en la tematización de las ciencias médicas y su consideración del sujeto implicado en ellas. Luego, se establecerá un contraste entre este enfoque y la forma contemporánea de entender, no sólo los sucesos clínicos, sino toda una visión del fenómeno humano bajo la matriz biologicista. Finalmente, se levantará una hipótesis que dé cuenta de la utilidad política que tal lectura comprende, y sus consecuencias en la organización del poder en la vida contemporánea
La gubernamentalidad neoliberal, post-neoliberal y el gobierno de la sustancia gozante
Get PDFWe are living in a historical moment in which it seems that neoliberal government strategies, based on the free circulation of fiancial and human capital, are coming to an end and a new socio-political paradigm of biopolitical government is beginning. Aided by Rose's (2017) concept of authoritarian populism, this essay seeks to analyze the conditions, rationalities, and technologies that accommodate the shift toward a new paradigm of governmentality. In addition, through a brief review of the governmentality theories of Foucault or Han, it will be suggested that the biopolitical study of authoritarian populism no longer concerns the body, as Foucault once described, nor the mind, as Han thinks, but to a third substance: the enjoying substance.Vivimos un momento histórico en donde parece que las estrategias de gobierno neoliberales, basadas en la libre circulación de capital fianciero y humano, están llegando a su fi y empieza un nuevo paradigma sociopolítico de gobierno biopolítico. Ayudado por el concepto de Rose (2017) sobre el authoritarian populism (populismo autoritario), este ensayo pretende analizar las condiciones, racionalidades y tecnologías que acomodan el cambio hacia un nuevo paradigma de la gubernamentalidad. This work will try to think the ensnaring fascination that electronic screens produce, in the actual stage of techno-capitalism, through the concepts of virtual reality, imaginary dimension and the gaze as object a, arguing that it is possible to formulate a homology between the libidinal structure of the three psychic formations mentioned in the title.The political concern that drives this work is constituted upon the urgency of thinking the new ways of subjective capture that mutate dizzily in the actual neoliberalism epoch, in a way that, it would seem, proceeds much faster than it is possible to theorize.La hipótesis que dirige esta investigación afima provisoriamente que resulta posible, e incluso conveniente, correlacionar cierto uso de la práctica del scroll en los consumos mediatizados por dispositivos digitales con la estructura libidinal del uso de narcóticos y la hipnosis, según las entiende el psicoanálisis. Its identity is expressed through aesthetic means such as their lyrics and ways of dressing. Punk uses these elements to declare itself as a counterculture, generating an active resistance à la Diogenes, which is, radically authentic. By manifesting itself as a critic of the given reality, punk resists through its appearance, it imagines new ways to become visible in the world. The critic puts in crisis the limits about identity and through this collective critic punk generates community. In a society that praises individualism, the punk from british designer Vivienne Westwood pleads for elaborating collective spaces through wardrobe.Frente a la sensación de desesperanza frente al futuro, esta investigación se centra en un movimiento cuyo lema es justamente «no future»: el punk. Su identidad es expresada a través de medios estéticos tales como sus letras y sus formas de vestir. El punk utiliza estos elementos para declararse a sí mismo como una contracultura, generando una resistencia activa à la Diógenes, esto es, radicalmente auténtica. Monstruos anatómicos: Fetichismo científico y “errores de la vida” en el Siglo XIX
Get PDFIn this article it intend to show a continuity of the (dis)evaluative treatment of "monstrous" subjects in the nineteenth century, that is, from the freak-show to the anatomical study. The exhibition and fetishism of the former remain in the latter, in view of the fact that the subjects studied are still considered "monsters", who are specifially defied as objects of science. For the development of the study, the cases of Sarah Baartman (1789-1815) and Joseph Merrick (1862-1890) will be presented and analyzed. Then, the distinction made by Canguilhem (1962) between "monstrous" and "monstrosity" will be considered, with the purpose of understanding how anatomical science redefies its monsters trying to hide this valuational movement.En este trabajo se intentará mostrar una continuidad del tratamiento (des)valorativo de sujetos “monstruosos” en el siglo xix, es decir, desde el freak-show hasta el estudio anatómico. La exhibición y fetichismo propios del primero permanecen en el segundo, en vista de que los sujetos estudiados aún siguen siendo considerados “monstruos”, quienes son defiidos, específiamente, como objetos de la ciencia. Para el desarrollo del estudio, se expondrán y analizarán los casos de Sarah Baartman (1789-1815) y Joseph Merrick (1862-1890). Luego, se considerará la distinción realizada por Canguilhem (1962) entre “monstruoso” y “monstruosidad”, con el propósito de comprender cómo la ciencia anatómica redefie a sus monstruos intentando ocultar este movimiento valorativo
La interpretación figural de los eventos contemporáneos y las profecías en The Social Dilemma
Get PDFIn the present work we seek to make some conjectures about the interpretation modalities of historical events that are contemporary to us. For this task we use the framework proposed by the philosopher of history Hayden White, who from a narrativist perspective invites us to think that every historical fact is fictional as long as it is discursively apropriated. The modality of fiction in which we deepen is figuration, recovered by Eric Auerbach. Figuration allows an event to be provided with interpretative links with its past, its present and its future in a non-linear causality modality. As a test case, we take the Netflx documentary The Social Dilemma, the interpretations it offers of social and political events of recent years and the dystopian prophecy it makes.En el presente trabajo buscamos realizar algunas conjeturas sobre las modalidades de interpretación de eventos históricos que nos son contemporáneos. Para ello nos valemos del marco propuesto por el filósofo de la historia Hayden White, quien desde una perspectiva narrativista nos invita a pensar que todo hecho histórico es ficcional en tanto que apropiado discursivamente. La modalidad de ficción en que profundizamos es la figuración, recuperada por Eric Auerbach. Esta permite dotar a un evento de lazos interpretativos con su pasado, su presente y su futuro en una modalidad de causalidad no lineal. This theoretical framework allows us to reread the literary work as a visual machine capable of producing images that account for a new organization of sensible matters in Argentina’s porteño urbanity, without implying an inclusion of such iconic forms in the national scopic regime. Therefore, we reflect or wonder about the importance and usefulness of rereading ancient philosophy today. With special emphasis on its useful aspect, since the proposal refers to inputs, for which the challenge lies in discovering if it is possible to continue making new interpretations of those classic systems, or rather, identify if their respective contributions extend to the day. today and, if so, to see what kinds of forms they can take. It is evident that the value of classical thoughts is not in question. In this sense, it is intended to demonstrate how contexts and reflections with which we currently live, continue to be crossed by ancient thought; In the same way that in previous times, similarities were found between the problems and ideas that occurred at that time and those of ancient times. Bearing this in mind, various formats and some models with which we can bring up contributions from past authors are shown below.Según Oxford Languages, se define la palabra insumo como un bien de cualquier clase empleado en la producción de otros bienes. En esta oportunidad, se hace referencia a insumos de la antigüedad. Por lo tanto, reflexionamos o nos preguntamos acerca de la importancia y la utilidad de las relecturas de la filosofía antigua en la actualidad. Con especial hincapié en su aspecto útil, ya que la propuesta se refire a insumos, por lo cual el desafío radica en descubrir si es posible seguir realizando nuevas interpretaciones de aquellos sistemas clásicos, o más bien, identificar si sus respectivos aportes se extienden al día de hoy y, de ser así, observar qué tipos de formas pueden adoptar. Es evidente que el valor de los pensamientos clásicos no está en tela de juicio. En este sentido, se pretende demostrar cómo contextos y reflexiones con los que convivimos actualmente, siguen siendo atravesados por el pensamiento antiguo; de igual forma que en épocas anteriores se encontraron similitudes entre los problemas e ideas que acontecían en esos momentos y los propios de la antigüedad. La ignorancia en Antígona: Un análisis de la tragedia a la luz del Élenkhos Socrático
Get PDFIn this article, I analize the discussions that Creon’s character mantains with his various interlocutors in Antigone to show how Sophocles sets out, in a similar way to Plato, the problem of ignorance in the light of dialogue. In the fist section, I emphazise Creon’s imprudence at the start of the play, followed by an analysis of his interlocutors’ responses. Next, I highlight the figure of Socrates as the one who knows human nature and, therefore, is able to make the other think so that he or she gets better in a moral sense. I conclude, then, that it is only the philosopher who can prevent injustices like the one in this story about Thebes, to the extent that he or she seeks and mantains a dialogical encounterEn este trabajo, analizo las discusiones que mantiene el personaje de Creonte con sus distintos interlocutores en Antígona para desvelar cómo Sófocles plantea, de modo similar a Platón, el problema de la ignorancia a la luz del diálogo. En el primer apartado, remarco la imprudencia de Creonte al comienzo de la obra, seguido de un examen de las respuestas de sus interlocutores. Seguidamente, resalto la figura platónica de Sócrates como aquél que conoce la naturaleza humana y, por consiguiente, es capaz de hacer reflexionar al otro para que mejore moralmente. Concluyo, entonces, que solo el filósofo puede prevenir injusticias como la de este relato sobre Tebas, en la medida en que procura y mantiene un encuentro dialógico

Get PDFThe aim of this paper is to observe those central points in which, in spite of the anachronism, similarities are established between different philosophical readings. Specifially, we are interested in understanding how the concept and ideas about poetry present in antiquity from a platonic point of view, and which we will access through María Zambrano, are related to what Maurizio Ferraris, in postmodernism, calls realitysm. That is to say, the proposal lies in a exploration, in the search for that drive to ironize that officiates as an old anchor, which is revitalized and fids other ways of expressing itself, other truths, daughters of time, but not for that reason orphans of origin; it turns out then that the irony of antiquity invites us to reflct on its role, to weigh ideas and, to notice from it, the development of novel philosophical proposals by the Italian thinkerEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo observar aquellos puntos centrales en los que, a pesar del anacronismo, se establecen semejanzas entre lecturas filosófias distintas. Puntualmente nos interesa comprender de qué manera el concepto e ideas en torno a la poesía presentes en la antigüedad desde una mirada platónica y a la cual accederemos a través de María Zambrano, guarda relación con aquello que Maurizio Ferraris, en la postmodernidad, llama realitysmo. Es decir, la propuesta radica en un rastreo, en la búsqueda de aquella pulsión a ironizar que oficia como un añoso anclaje, que se revitaliza y encuentra otras maneras de expresarse, otras verdades hijas del tiempo, pero no por ello huérfanas de origen, resulta entonces que la ironía de la antigüedad invita a reflxionar sobre su rol, a sopesar ideas y a advertir, a partir de ella, el desarrollo de novedosas propuestas filosófias por parte del pensador italiano
